Journal Research Physical Education and Sports (RESPECS) is a peer-reviewed journal (printed and online) published by the Physical Education Departement, Universitas Majalengka, which was founded in 2019 and is published regularly online. It publishes articles on various aspects of physical education including learning in schools which includes the learning process, assessment of learning, use of instructional media, and development of Physical Education learning in schools. Also includes physical activity, sports and health, as well as the development of sports achievements in schools and communities. Articles published in journals are written in Indonesian. Papers received will appear online immediately and are followed by printing in print. E-journals provide free and open access to all of its content on our website. Abstract

Learning in the covid-19 pandemic is a learning that is carried out online or online with the media used, namely the internet, and the learning process is carried out through websites, email and WhatsApp, the implementation of the learning process is also carried out remotely. This study aims to see how much motivation MTs Negeri 7 Wonosalam students have during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with a survey method. The research instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire that is distributed to students of MTs Negeri 7 Wonosalam class VII, VIII, and IX. The results showed that students' motivation in learning physical education in sports and health during the Covid-19 pandemic at MTs Negeri 7 Wonosalam in 2021 was moderate. This can be seen from the average results of the categories on 7 (seven) indicators, namely self-desire 53%, self-satisfaction 42%, good habits 46%, rewards 39%, punishment 52%, imitation of something 54%, and spirit 51%.Conclusion and Implications: Looking at the results of data analysis indicates that student learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic is in the moderate category, and for 1 indicators in the low category, namely the prize indicator. Further research is expected to add interview methods and add indicators such as initiative, commitment and other indicators, in addition to the indicators contained in this study.

Abstract

The world of education is currently facing quite complex problems due to the spread of the corona virus or commonly known as Covid-19. Therefore, the government has issued various policies to prevent the spread of this disease, one of which is the policy issued by the Minister of Education and Culture Number 4 of 2020 which regulates the process of teaching and learning at home, namely online/distance learning. This study aims to describe teacher difficulties in learning PJOK via online in the era of the co-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that teachers experience difficulties in planning, implementing, and evaluating. The difficulties faced by teachers are: (1) Difficulties in choosing the type of assessment; (2) Difficulties in explaining material (3) Difficulties in evaluating students.

Abstract

A healthy lifestyle is part of self-awareness of the importance of maintaining health, so that in an effort to maintain health, information related to health is needed through l health iteration, if literacy Low health will be able to affect many things related to health such as doing inappropriate health care and lack of health-related knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between health literacy and the healthy lifestyle of junior high school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of correlational research that connects one or more free variables with one bound variable. Instruments used HLS-EU-Q16, Newest Vital Sign, and healthy lifestyle with Healthy Lifestyle Scale. The Sample selected was Junior High School 1 Krian with a sample of 219 students. Data analysis in this study used gamma correlation and percentage data tests. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between health literacy according to perceptions and the healthy lifestyle of junior high school students during the Covid-19 pandemic with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 with a contribution of 24%. As for health literacy based on functional, it showed no relationship with a significant value of 0.185 > 0.05 with a contribution of 7%.

Abstract

UKS is the main channel of health education in schools to improve the ability to live a healthy life and form healthy behaviors that will later produce an optimal degree of health of students. Schools where coaching and health learning are distributed, but sometimes school conditions have not become a priority for school residents, and so far there has been no research on facilities and infrastructure and the implementation of the UKS program in Jombang District. The study aims to determine the completeness of facilities and infrastructure as well as the implementation of the Trias UKS program in SMAN, SMKN, and MAN in Jombang District, Jombang Regency, for the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection techniques use observation sheets, documentation questionnaires, and interviews. A sample of all members of the population amounted to 8 schools in Jombang District. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis with percentages. The result of the study is that all schools get a very high category. The highest percentage was 100%, obtained by SMAN 3 Jombang. Meanwhile, the lowest percentage was obtained by MAN 8 Jombang with a percentage of 83%. The conclusion of this study is that the overall category is very high. The highest percentage in SMAN institutions is found in SMAN 3 Jombang with a percentage of 100%. Meanwhile, the highest percentage at the SMKN institution was achieved by SMKN 1 Jombang with a percentage of 99%. Meanwhile, the highest percentage gain in MAN institutions was produced by MAN 1 Jombang with a percentage of 99%. With his knowledge, it is hoped that it will be able to improve the quality of UKS, both in the completeness of facilities and infrastructure as well as the implementation of the Trias UKS program.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the performance of Physical Education teachers at the unit level of Public Elementary Schools throughout the Kesamben District, Jombang Regency in 2022/2023. This research method uses a type of quantitative research. The subjects in this study were all Physical Education teachers in Gugus I Public Elementary Schools throughout the Kesamben District, Jombang Regency, with a total of 17 teachers. Obtaining the percentage score for each competency is then converted to a value scale of 1, 2, 3, or 4. After that, the values are added up, then converted into a scale of 100. The next step is to determine the criteria for the value obtained ≤ 50 (less), 51-60 ( moderate), 61-75 (fair), 76-90 (good), 91-100 (very good). Based on the results of data analysis, there is a comparison of Physical Education Teachers in Elementary Schools in the Kesamben District, Jombang Regency, who are certified to get the best PKG score with a total score of 81, or get a score of 91 on a scale of 100 with the very good category. The lowest PKG with a total score of 64, or a score of 73 on a scale of 100. While the average PKG score is 76 on a scale of 100, with the (good) category. While those who have not been certified, the highest PKG score is 70. And the lowest PKG score is 66. Meanwhile, the average is 68 in the (sufficient) category. The conclusion in this study is that physical education teachers at SDN Kesamben District, Jombang Regency have significant differences in the results of PKG scores between teachers who have been certified and those who have not been certified. Certified teachers only have deficiencies in professional competency assessment, while teachers who have not been certified have deficiencies in social assessment and competence.

Abstract

Mastery of pencak silat techniques is the most basic complement, without neglecting other elements such as physical, tactical and mental conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between agility and ankle coordination on the ability of pencak silat kicks. This research method is a correlation research. In this study, the population consisted of 15 students participating in the pencak silat extracurricular activity. In this study, the sampling technique used for the extracurricular students at the Korpri Vocational High School was a total sampling of 15 students. Then the research instrument used an agility test and an ankle coordination test as well as a Sabit kick ability test. Based on the results of data analysis, description, testing of research results, and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between agility and sabit kick abilities of extracurricular Pencak Silat Students at Korpri Vocational School, with a value of rx1.y = 0.693 > r (0.05)(12) = 0.532. There is a significant relationship between ankle coordination and the sabit kick ability of students of the Pencak Silat extracurricular at Korpri Vocational School with a value of rx2.y = 0.866 > r (0.05)(12) = 0.532. There is a significant relationship between agility and ankle coordination on the ability to kick the Pencak Silat sabit kick at Korpri Vocational High School, with a value of Ry (x1.x2) = 0.911 > R (0.05)(12) = 0.532.

Abstract

One branch of sportis athletics and it was explained that getting maximum results in this sport is of course influenced by one's physical abilities. Purpose: to measure the accuracy of the psychomotor assessment instrument developed by the PJOK teacher on long jump material. Methods: Two teachers subject participated in this study. Documentation method used in this study then were analyzed used four indicators. Results and discussioin: The assessment instrument developed by the subject is still not sufficient to assess students' long jump abilities. Each item needs to be specified further to make it easier for the observer. Conclusion and Implications: The developed instrument is not appropriate so it needs for the further. It is necessary to have workshop activities to train PJOK teachers to develop assessment instruments. Limitation and recommendation: This study is only limited to the development of long jump psychomotor assessment. So, it is necessary to further develop psychomotor instruments in other sports

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of Maximum Oxygen Volume (VO2Max) in Men's Basketball Athletes in Porcupine District for Preparation for West Kalimantan Provincial Sports Week (PORPROV) 2022. The method used in this research is to use a quantitative descriptive method. The form of research used is a test using the Bleep Test. The analysis used calculates calculating the percentage of the results obtained. Respondents in this study were PORPROV At athletes in the Men's Basketball Branch of the Porcupine District. From the results of the study, it was found that the maximum oxygen volume level in Men's Basketball Sports Athletes in Porcupine District showed 11 players (55%) in the Less category and nine players (45%) in enough category. From the results of the VO2max test in Men's Basketball Athletes in Landak District, it showed that most players had a maximum oxygen volume level in the less category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The effect of hand reaction speed on short serve ability in badminton games; (2) the Effect of wrist flexibility on short serve ability in badminton games; and (3) the Effect of hand reaction speed and wrist flexibility on short serve ability in badminton games. The population of this study were all students of SMA Negeri 5 Soppeng with a total sample of 30 students selected by random sampling. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive analysis technique, data normality test, data linearity test and regression analysis using the SPSS program. The research results show that; (1) There is an effect of hand reaction speed on short serve ability in badminton games of 68.6%; (2) There is an effect of wrist flexibility on short serve ability in badminton games of 55.4%; and (3) There is an effect of hand reaction speed and wrist flexibility on short serve ability in badminton game of 86.1%.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research conducted in four meetings in cycles I and II  and is designed through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data source for this research was 17 students in class V at SDN 35 Wewangrewu, Wajo Regency. Data collection on the ability to dribble using an assessment sheet for prefix techniques, body position, foot contact with the ball, and final attitude The results of a quantitative analysis of data on dribbling learning outcomes in football games showed that the number of students who completed the first cycle was 10 with a percentage of 58.82%, and the number of students who completed the second cycle was 17 with a percentage of 100%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that learning physical education through the Jigsaw cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of dribbling in football games for students at SDN 35 Wewangrewu, Wajo Regency.
