Abstract

The digital era and the advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) have brought fundamental changes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), demanding pedagogical and curriculum adaptations. This research aims to conceptually examine the transformation of PAI in the AI era, focusing on the crucial role of Religious Digital Literacy (LDR). The method used is a qualitative literature study, analyzing various scientific sources related to PAI, AI in education, and digital literacy. The results show that AI offers significant opportunities for personalization of learning and efficiency, but it also poses ethical challenges, data privacy, and digital divides. LDR is defined as the critical and ethical ability to access, evaluate, and produce digital religious content. This study concludes that LDR is very important to equip students to be able to use AI responsibly, maintain Islamic values, and form "digital wisdom" in the midst of disinformation. The transformation of PAI must be synergistic, integrating AI wisely while strengthening the spiritual and ethical core through a comprehensive LDR.

Abstract

Studi ini menyelidiki penerapan model Discovery Learning yang disesuaikan dengan preferensi gaya belajar siswa untuk mengatasi hasil belajar IPA yang rendah pada siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 2 Segeran Kidul, di mana 60% siswa belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan konsisten dalam keterlibatan siswa dan hasil belajar pada setiap siklus. Siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan gaya belajar mereka, yang menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan yang dipersonalisasi dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan pencapaian akademik. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran dengan preferensi gaya belajar siswa dalam kerangka Discovery Learning. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pandangan kepada guru kelas agar dapat membantu siswa mengenali gaya belajar masing-masing dan mengelola pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan gaya belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the position of customary law within Indonesia’s judicial system in the context of the tension between legal tradition and modernization. Although customary law has been constitutionally recognized under Article 18B paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution and reinforced through several legal instruments—such as Law No. 39 of 1999 on Human Rights and Constitutional Court Decision No. 35/PUU-X/2012—its implementation in judicial practice remains suboptimal. In many cases, customary law is treated merely as a secondary consideration, lacking binding technical guidelines for law enforcement officers and judges. This research adopts a normative-qualitative approach, using descriptive and juridical analysis through literature review, statutory interpretation, and legal document analysis. As analytical tools, it employs the theory of legal pluralism by John Griffiths, the concept of interlegalities by Boaventura de Sousa Santos, and is complemented by Satjipto Rahardjo’s theory of progressive law. The findings reveal that the current recognition of customary law in Indonesia remains subordinated, reflecting a model of weak legal pluralism. While in several regions customary law is more accepted by local communities—due to its perceived fairness, speed, and contextual relevance—the national legal system has yet to effectively accommodate such legal diversity. Legal policy reform is therefore needed, including the enactment of the Draft Law on Indigenous Peoples (RUU Masyarakat Hukum Adat), the issuance of a Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) on the application of customary law, and the revitalization of customary institutions as alternative dispute resolution forums.In conclusion, customary law is not merely a cultural legacy, but a living source of law that must be positioned as an equal partner within the national legal framework. Strengthening customary law will support the development of a pluralistic, inclusive, and socially just legal system in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison between cash and debit payment systems in preventing fraud at CV. Wiratech Jaya Mandiri, Makassar Branch. The method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the cash payment system poses a high risk of fraud, such as embezzlement, data manipulation, and a weak audit trail due to manual recording. Conversely, the debit payment system is more effective in preventing fraud because transactions are automatically recorded in the banking system, are easily audited, and reduce physical contact with cash. This study emphasizes the importance of non-cash payments as an integral part of more accountable and efficient corporate financial governance.

Abstract

This study examines the inhibiting factors of digital transformation in MSMEs by integrating perspectives from Adaptive Structuration Theory and Dynamic Capabilities Theory. Digital transformation in this research is defined as the adoption of advanced technologies such as mobile platforms, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, blockchain, and IoT to enhance customer experience, optimize operational processes, and develop innovative business models. The research is motivated by the significant impact of the pandemic crisis on MSMEs in Indonesia. The inhibiting factors in Adaptive Structuration Theory were developed based on a synthesis of findings from DeSanctis & Poole and Wiesböck & Hess, while aspects of Dynamic Capabilities Theory were adapted from Eisenhardt & Martin and Warner & Wager. The research method utilized an online survey via Google Forms targeting MSME owners and managers in the culinary, fashion, and travel sectors, with 206 valid respondents out of 247 collected questionnaires. Data analysis employed Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) using Smart PLS 3.0 software. The findings reveal that digital transformation barriers significantly negatively affect digital implementation, while digital transformation itself positively impacts business performance. These results reinforce the relevance of both theories as conceptual frameworks for analyzing digitalization challenges while providing practical recommendations for MSMEs to accelerate digital technology adoption as a survival strategy during crises, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic. The study also highlights the importance of digital-based business strategy updates to enhance business resilience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of students' attitudes in the application of authentic assessment on mathematics learning outcomes of junior high school students in Cirebon City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The research sample consisted of 361 grade VII students in several junior high schools in Cirebon City. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression to test the influence between independent and dependent variables. The results showed that students' attitudes towards authentic assessment have a positive and significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes. Students' attitudes in this case are influenced by perceptions of teachers, parents, and peers. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of forming positive attitudes through active teacher involvement and parental support in the learning process based on authentic assessment.

Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to analyse the impact of local government strategies on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Penajam Paser Utara (PPU) Regency as a buffer zone for the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN), and to provide a comprehensive overview through strategic analysis. Materials and Methods. The study employed a mixed-method approach involving 60 MSME respondents selected through purposive sampling from a population of 152 registered MSMEs in the Alun-Alun area of PPU District. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) and analysed using descriptive statistics and SWOT-TOWS analysis via the EFAS-IFAS system. Results. The study results indicate that the majority of respondents (96–98%) gave positive evaluations of the local government's strategies. The SWOT analysis placed SMEs in Quadrant I (Growth Strategy) with an IFAS score of 3.07 and an EFAS score of 2.83, indicating that the SO (Strength-Opportunity) strategy is a priority. Conclusion. The conclusion of this study affirms that strengthening strategies based on potential and opportunities, such as optimising the Pentas Seni and Gebyar UMKM programmes, accelerating digitalisation, and developing an integrated IKN business ecosystem, plays an important role in improving the performance of MSMEs in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Science Process Skills (SPS) test instrument for elementary school science subjects that meets the criteria of validity and reliability. The background of this research is the low level of students’ SPS, which has not been adequately facilitated due to the limited availability of appropriate evaluation instruments. The research employed a test construction and validation approach, involving fourth-grade students as the trial sample. The instrument was designed in the form of multiple-choice two-tier test items covering eight aspects of SPS: observing, classifying, interpreting data, formulating hypotheses, designing experiments, communicating, measuring, and drawing conclusions. Content validity was examined through expert judgment and readability testing, while empirical validity was analyzed using SPSS. Reliability was measured using Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. The results showed that out of 32 developed items, 20 items (62.5%) were valid, while 12 items (37.5%) were eliminated. The instrument reliability reached a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.659, indicating an adequate level of internal consistency. Thus, the developed instrument can be considered feasible to consistently measure students’ science process skills. This research provides a significant contribution to the availability of authentic evaluation instruments and supports teachers in designing more targeted science learning. Future research is recommended to apply the Item Response Theory (IRT), involve larger and more diverse samples, and integrate the instrument into digital platforms to make it more adaptive to the demands of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the conventional learning methods still commonly used in Grade I classrooms, with limited variation in instructional approaches. As a result, students experience difficulties in recognizing letters, such as distinguishing letter shapes, naming letters, and associating them with sounds. One strategy to improve letter recognition skills is through the implementation of singing as a teaching method. The objective of this study was to examine the effect of the singing method on letter recognition skills among first-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kalisapu. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach, using a non-equivalent control group design. The population of the study consisted of all students at SD Negeri 1 Kalisapu, with the sample being all 36 first-grade students. The results of the Independent Sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.01 (0.01 < 0.05), indicating that the singing method had a significant effect on students' letter recognition abilities. The N-Gain test results showed an average N-Gain score of 0.4967 in the experimental group, which is greater than 0.3, falling into the ‘moderate’ category. This suggests that the application of the singing method was moderately effective in improving students' letter recognition skills. These findings demonstrate that the implementation of the singing method has a significant impact on the letter recognition abilities of Grade I students at SD Negeri 1 Kalisapu.

Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to examine the factors that influence the performance of public information services at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024, with an emphasis on the role of digital service innovation, cross-unit coordination, and the strengthening of Information and Documentation Management Officers (PPID). Materials and Methods. The research method used a quantitative survey approach on 1,673 public information requests received through various PPID service channels. The research variables consisted of information technology utilisation (X1), cross-unit coordination (X2), strengthening the role of PPID (Z), and transparency and accountability of public services (Y). Results. The research results indicate that the utilisation of information technology and cross-unit coordination significantly influence the improvement of transparency and accountability in public services, both directly and through the strengthening of the role of PPID. The average time to complete a request is 4 days, 9 hours, and 59 minutes, which is faster than the deadline set by the KIP Law. Pearson's correlation indicates a negative relationship between the volume of requests and service speed (r = -0.62; p < 0.05). The Chi-Square test shows a significant relationship between the educational level of the requester and the category of information requested (p < 0.01). Conclusion. The role of the PPID has been proven to mediate the effectiveness of digital innovation and cross-unit coordination in improving transparency and accountability. Recommendations: There is a need for a special budget allocation for digital service innovation and regular coordination forums between work units. The limitation of this study is the lack of previous research on the role of the PPID as a mediating variable, so further research with a broader scope is still needed. The novelty of this study lies in the model that positions the role of PPID as an intermediate variable, which has not been extensively studied in the context of public information disclosure in Indonesia.
