Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare groundwater quality parameters across land use zones to identify contamination patterns and underlying causes. The materials used in this study were collected from empirical studies conducted on 15 sites representing agricultural, industrial, and residential areas and analyzed for physical and chemical parameters including pH, total dissolved solids (TDS), heavy metals, and major ions. The method used in this study was comparative analysis with a qualitative approach. The results showed significant spatial variability influenced by anthropogenic activities and natural geochemical processes. Agricultural areas showed increased levels of TDS and nitrate, industrial areas showed heavy metal contamination, and residential areas showed higher turbidity. Statistical analysis revealed correlations between contamination sources and water quality parameters. The results underline the need for targeted management strategies to reduce contamination and ensure groundwater sustainability. The results identified significant spatial variability in groundwater quality across the 15 sites, influenced by natural hydrogeochemical processes and human activities. Agricultural areas showed high levels of total dissolved solids (TDS), electrical conductivity (EC), and nitrate due to fertilizers and irrigation. Industrial areas experienced heavy metal contamination, including lead and cadmium, exceeding WHO limits, while residential areas showed moderate contamination with occasional turbidity and nitrate problems. These results emphasize the impact of local human activities on groundwater quality and the need for targeted mitigation efforts.

Abstract

Low performance is a fundamental problem that can hinder the development of an agency and produce jobs that are not in accordance with expectations. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational climate (X1) and work culture (X2) on performance satisfaction (Y) partially and simultaneously at SMA Negeri 1 Pasawahan, Pasawahan District, Kuningan Regency. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative research design. The sampling technique uses total sampling or saturated samples, with a total of 36 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression and ANOVA test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that organizational climate (X1) has a positive but insignificant effect on performance satisfaction (sig. value 0.000 <0.05). Work culture (X2) has a positive and significant effect on performance satisfaction (sig. value 0.000 <0.05). Simultaneously, organizational climate and work culture have a very significant effect on performance satisfaction (sig. value ANOVA 0.000 <0.05). The resulting regression equation is Y = 2.188 + 0.195X1 + 0.757X2. This study concludes that there is a positive and significant influence between organizational climate and work culture on job satisfaction at SMA Negeri 1 Pasawahan, both partially and simultaneously. Both independent variables, namely organizational climate and work culture, together contribute significantly to increasing teacher job satisfaction.

Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to examine and analyze the instructional strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) based on fiqh implemented at STIKes Widya Dharma Husada (WDH) Tangerang within the context of nursing education. This research is motivated by the importance of integrating Islamic values, particularly Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), into the development of ethical and spiritual competencies among nursing students in accordance with the 2021 AIPNI Curriculum. Material and method. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving PAI lecturers, students, and curriculum developers as research subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, and were analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that the applied teaching strategies include Problem-Based Learning (PBL), thematic discussions, and contextual simulations. Results. These strategies have been proven effective in enhancing students’ understanding of fiqh and fostering ethical and religious awareness in nursing practice. The lesson plans and syllabi explicitly demonstrate the integration of fiqh into learning outcomes. Students expressed positive responses to the contextual and interactive approach, although several challenges were noted, including limited instructional time and the availability of supporting materials. This study concludes that the application of fiqh-based PAI teaching strategies at STIKes WDH effectively contributes to shaping Islamic character within the nursing profession. Cunclosions. The results offer both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of religious education models in health-related higher education institutions.

Abstract

Lecturer job satisfaction is an important factor in creating a conducive and high-performance academic environment. In private higher education environments, lecturers often face complex challenges, such as high workloads, inadequate reward systems, and limited access to career development. This study aims to explore lecturers' perceptions of the factors that influence their job satisfaction. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews with six teen lecturers from various study programs at a private university in Cirebon city. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that lecturer job satisfaction is influenced by several main factors, namely support from leaders, clarity of workload, fair compensation system, opportunities for self-development, and good social relations between colleagues. In addition to structural factors, psychological aspects such as recognition, appreciation, and a sense of belonging to the institution also determine the level of job satisfaction. These findings emphasize that human resource management in private higher education environments needs to accommodate lecturers' needs holistically, not only in financial aspects but also in professional and emotional dimensions. This study provides strategic recommendations for campus management in formulating more participatory HR policies that are oriented towards lecturer welfare.

Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to analyse the strategic role of human resources (HR) in organisational development and identify behavioural challenges encountered in its management.Materials and methods. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach, which explores theories and findings from previous studies related to HR management and organisational behaviour. Results. The research findings indicate that HR plays a central role not only as implementers of policies but also as agents of change, innovators, and guardians of a healthy organisational culture. However, behavioural challenges such as interpersonal conflicts, resistance to change, and low work motivation pose serious obstacles to achieving organisational goals.Conclusion. effective HR management requires adaptive strategies focused on competency development, transformative leadership, employee empowerment, and the creation of a positive and inclusive work culture.

Abstract

Study purpose. This study focuses on the implementation of policies, obstacles, efforts, and forecasts made to optimise new electricity connection assistance policies in several districts in Bengkulu Province. The objectives of this study are to analyse the implementation of policies, obstacles, efforts, and forecasts made to optimise new electricity connection assistance policies in several districts in Bengkulu Province. Materials and Methods. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained will be analysed through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The theory used is Results. Based on the data and analysis conducted, it can be concluded that the implementation of new electricity connection assistance in some districts in Bengkulu Province can be seen from the following findings: (1) The implementation of new electricity connection assistance in some districts in Bengkulu Province is in line with the results of the discussion by the Desk for Government Affairs in the Energy and Mineral Resources Sector at the Technical Coordination Meeting on Development Planning for 2024, conducted by the Directorate General of Regional Development at the Ministry of Home Affairs. (2) Challenges in the implementation of new electricity connection assistance in certain districts of Bengkulu Province include discrepancies between the proposals submitted by the community and the actual conditions on the ground, as well as the fact that the homes of the proposing community are located outside the reach of PLN's electricity network. (3) Efforts needed to optimise the implementation of new electricity connection assistance in some districts in Bengkulu Province include socialising the new electricity connection assistance to underprivileged communities. (4) Looking ahead, with electricity reaching even the remotest villages, it is hoped that communities that have received new electricity connection assistance will utilise the assistance effectively, such as by using it to establish small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that can serve as additional income sources for those communities. Conclusion. The implementation of new electricity connection assistance in some districts in Bengkulu Province has been progressing fairly well, although it still faces challenges in coordination and network coverage, and requires improved socialisation and data synchronisation to support more productive use of electricity for the welfare of the community.

Abstract

Study prpose. This thesis aims to analyse the performance of the West Sumatra Provincial Liaison Agency in providing services to regional leaders. Materials and methods. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive design, a constructive interpretivism paradigm, and a literature review analysis. The theory used is Agus Dwiyanto's performance theory, which states that performance indicators consist of productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability. Results. The performance of the West Sumatra Provincial Liaison Office in serving regional leaders is generally quite good. However, there are several areas that need improvement, such as the service quality indicator, where the Public Relations, Protocol, and Service Section does not yet have Standard Operating Procedures for serving regional leaders, the quantity and quality of human resources in the public relations section are still insufficient, there are limitations in the authority to publish news about regional leaders' activities on the West Sumatra Provincial Government website, and the facilities and infrastructure supporting the performance of duties are still limited, and the budget planning is not yet mature. Meanwhile, the indicators of productivity, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability are already functioning well. Therefore, the researcher's recommendations are to establish Standard Operating Procedures for serving regional leaders, increase human resources in the public relations department, propose to the leadership that news coverage outside West Sumatra Province be delegated to the Liaison Office, propose the procurement of facilities and infrastructure to support leadership service activities, and develop a mature budget plan for leadership activities so that service to regional leaders can be maximised.Conclusion. The performance of the West Sumatra Provincial Liaison Office in providing services to regional leaders is generally satisfactory, particularly in terms of productivity, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability. However, there are still challenges in the quality of services, such as the absence of SOPs, limited human resources and supporting facilities, and suboptimal budget planning. Improvement efforts have been made through the addition of personnel, the provision of facilities, and inter-agency coordination. To enhance performance in the future, it is necessary to establish SOPs, improve human resource quality, procure supporting equipment, and expand authority in the publication of regional leadership activities.

Abstract

Study purpose. This research discusses the implementation of the Financial Application System at the institutional level (SAKTI) in financial reporting, particularly in the context of facing the system transformation implemented through the SAKTI Application. The purpose of this study is to analyze user acceptance of the implementation of the SAKTI Application at the Bureau of Finance and Assets of the Ministry of Home Affairs, using indicators from the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Materail and methods. This study uses a critical theory approach with a descriptive qualitative research design, conducted through interviews and literature study. The research subjects were selected using purposive sampling, involving 11 informants who are users of the SAKTI Application out of 68 individuals involved. The results of the study indicate that user acceptance of the SAKTI Application varies, classified as neutral, positive, and negative acceptance. This variation is influenced by differences in the ability of human resources to face system transformation, work environment conditions, and workloads. To address negative acceptance, the suggested strategies include updating the utility of the SAKTI Application, improving implementation governance, and strengthening internal support at the institutional level. Cunclotion. This research is expected to contribute to the development of the SAKTI Application and improve the effectiveness of the implementation of financial application systems in the government environment.

Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to analyse the role of Islamic banking in supporting the development of Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in Cirebon City. Materials and methods. A qualitative approach was used with a case study method, through in-depth interviews with managers and staff of Islamic banks and BUMD leaders. Results. The results of the study indicate that Islamic banking plays an important role in sharia-based financing, financial assistance, supervision of fund use, and improving sharia financial literacy. This collaboration has been proven to encourage operational efficiency and improve the institutional performance of BUMDs. However, challenges remain, such as limited sharia literacy and regulatory support. Conclusion. This study concludes that synergy between Islamic banking, BUMDs, and local governments is essential to optimise sustainable regional economic development in accordance with Islamic principles.
