Abstract

Advances in information technology have transformed patterns of social interaction, economic transactions, and information dissemination, while at the same time creating new spaces for the development of cybercrime. Cybercrime is no longer limited to simple fraud but encompasses illegal access, data theft, identity theft, carding, digital extortion, the dissemination of fake news, hate speech, and other forms of crime that utilize computers and networks as either means or targets. This study aims to analyze law enforcement against perpetrators of cybercrime in Indonesia and the regulation of cybercrime within the Indonesian criminal justice system. The study employs a normative juridical method using a statutory approach and a conceptual approach, supported by a literature review of relevant books, journals, and legal sources. The findings indicate that law enforcement against cybercrime faces several challenges, including limited law enforcement capacity, digital forensic technology, laboratory facilities, investigation costs and time, as well as victims’ tendency not to report incidents. From a regulatory perspective, cybercrime provisions are dispersed across several legal instruments, requiring harmonization to keep pace with the characteristics of digital crimes, which are cross-border, rapidly evolving, and technology-based. Strengthening the legal system should be pursued through updates to legal substance, improvements in law enforcement structures, strengthening legal culture and digital literacy, and enhanced national and international cooperation. Victim protection should also be positioned as an integral part of cybercrime prevention and control policies

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal framework governing corporate criminal liability and the mechanisms of criminal law enforcement against corporations responsible for industrial waste disposal that causes environmental pollution in Indonesia. A healthy environment is a constitutional right of every citizen as stipulated in Article 28H paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. However, the rapid development of the industrial sector is often accompanied by illegal waste disposal practices that result in significant ecological, social, and economic losses. This study employs a normative juridical method using a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The findings indicate that the legal framework governing corporate criminal liability in Indonesia has a comprehensive normative basis through Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management, as amended by Law Number 6 of 2023, and supported by Supreme Court Regulation Number 13 of 2016. Normatively, corporations are recognized as subjects of criminal law that may be held criminally liable and subjected to sanctions in the form of fines and additional penalties aimed at restoring environmental functions. Nevertheless, the implementation of criminal law enforcement against corporations continues to face serious obstacles, including the complexity of proving corporate fault, the limited capacity of law enforcement officials in establishing scientific evidence, and the tendency of law enforcement authorities to prioritize prosecution of individual corporate managers rather than the corporate legal entity itself. In conclusion, effective law enforcement requires optimization through strengthening law enforcement capacity, improving inter-agency coordination, and consistently imposing sanctions on corporations to create a deterrent effect and ensure environmental sustainability in Indonesia.

Abstract

The SAKIP of North Lombok Regency has experienced a declining trend in cumulative scores during the 2022–2025 period, primarily due to deteriorating performance in the planning component. The Regional Head’s Priority Programs outlined in the 2025–2029 RPJMD have not yet been successfully translated into the Strategic Plans (Renstra) of Regional Government Agencies due to limited timelines, insufficient understanding of SMART indicators, sectoral egos, and the automatic locking mechanism of the SIPD-RI application. The Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) method was selected to address these challenges. This policy paper recommends strengthening collective capacity through a SMART-Cascading Performance Clinic and establishing a Cross-Cutting Task Force. This integrated policy is considered the most tactical, efficient, and systemically impactful approach to resolving upstream conceptual bottlenecks, dismantling silo-based work cultures, and continuously improving the competencies of planning officials, thereby restoring and improving the regional SAKIP performance score.

Abstract

Islamic inheritance law governs property distribution through faraid provisions understood by the community, yet in Jaya Karet Village, Mentaya Hilir Selatan District, East Kotawaringin Regency, this authority has been taken over by the eldest sibling through two patterns: open deliberation and single authority. This study describes compliance practices toward the eldest sibling in inheritance division and analyzes the legitimacy of both patterns under Islamic inheritance law. The method used is qualitative empirical-legal research with a socio-legal approach, through interviews with heirs and religious figures from several families. Findings show the open deliberation pattern produces sincere compliance grounded in consent (ridha), aligned with sulh and maqashid al-syariah, while the single authority pattern produces superficial compliance driven by reluctance and fear of the “disobedient” stigma, contradicting justice and consent. In conclusion, legitimacy of inheritance division cannot be judged solely from a peaceful outcome but from the openness of the deliberation process. These findings suggest that religious leaders should play a more proactive role in monitoring family deliberations and facilitating written agreements to secure legal certainty for all heirs

Abstract

Crime in Indonesia continues to increase year after year, a situation that is not commensurate with the capacity of law enforcement officers and the effectiveness of judicial institutions, resulting in a backlog of cases and high costs of law enforcement in Indonesia. One of the stages of the modern criminal justice system to address these issues is the Plea Bargain stage. This is where an agreement is reached between the defendant and the public prosecutor that allows the defendant to plead guilty in exchange for a lighter sentence or demand. This can be both an opportunity and a challenge for all law enforcement officers

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of toxic leadership on the performance of Generation Z employees who are active on social media, with job satisfaction and work motivation as mediating variables. This study uses a quantitative approach with a 5-point Likert survey of 320 Gen Z employees through purposive sampling. The sample size was determined using power analysis (GPower), while the data was processed using PLS-SEM in SmartPLS 4.0, including outer/inner model evaluation, bootstrapping, and data collection through questionnaires distributed to respondents aged 18 to 28 years. Analysis results reveal a unique phenomenon in which toxic leadership is empirically positively correlated with motivation and job satisfaction, contrary to general theoretical assumptions. These results indicate that Generation Z tends to perceive work pressure as a challenge and demonstrates high resilience, enabling them to maintain or even improve performance under toxic leadership. However, these positive effects are contextual and the long-term impact on employee mental health and loyalty needs to be considered.

Abstract

Plant-based yogurt has emerged as an alternative to dairy-based fermented products in response to growing concerns about lactose intolerance, milk allergies, plant-based diets, health, and food sustainability. Although it has potential as an alternative food product, plant-based yogurt differs from dairy yogurt due to variations in the protein, lipid, carbohydrate, fiber, mineral, and antinutritional compound composition of its raw materials. This article aims to critically review the development of plant-based yogurt from various plant sources, focusing on formulation, fermentation, nutritional quality, physicochemical characteristics, and storage stability. The review focuses on coconut-, legume-, oat-, and almond-based yogurt. The literature indicates that legumes, particularly soybeans and pulses, offer advantages in terms of protein content and bioactive compounds but may present challenges related to beany flavor, antinutritional factors, and inconsistent rheological properties. Oats have the potential to provide dietary fiber and β-glucan, while almonds provide lipids and proteins and generally exhibit favorable sensory characteristics. Coconut has the advantage of its lipid content, which contributes to a creamy mouthfeel; however, its relatively low protein content requires formulation optimization to achieve adequate gel network formation. Lactic acid bacteria fermentation plays an important role in acid production, protein modification, partial reduction of antinutritional factors, metabolite formation, and maintenance of microbial viability. However, fermentation effectiveness is strongly influenced by the type of plant matrix and bacterial strain used. Therefore, the development of plant-based yogurt should focus on combining different plant sources, optimizing starter cultures, fortifying nutritional components, and controlling stability during storage.

Abstract

Psychological well-being is an important aspect of employees' functioning in the workplace, particularly among Generation Z employees who are adapting to changing work demands and organizational environments. One workplace factor that may be associated with psychological well-being is the feedback environment, which reflects employees' perceptions of feedback received through interactions with supervisors and coworkers. This study aims to examine feedback environment as a predictor of psychological well-being among Generation Z employees at PT Altrak 1978 Karang Joang. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Participants were 108 Generation Z employees selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using the short version of the Feedback Environment Scale (FES) adapted from Louro and Gabardo-Martins (2024) and the Psychological Well-Being Scale adapted in the Indonesian context by Humaidah and Mulyono (2025). Data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results showed that feedback environment significantly predicted psychological well-being (p = .019). The correlation coefficient was R = .226, indicating a weak relationship, while the coefficient of determination was R² = .051, indicating that feedback environment explained 5.1% of the variance in psychological well-being. These findings indicate that feedback environment is one workplace factor associated with psychological well-being among Generation Z employees, although other factors also contribute to psychological well-being.

Abstract

The transition from high school to higher education is a challenging period for first-year college students. Various adaptation demands toward a more independent educational system and a new environment frequently trigger psychological distress, such as loneliness. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and loneliness among first-year students (class of 2025) at Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) Salatiga. The research method employed a correlational quantitative approach. Data collection utilized two main instruments: the Social Support Scale and the UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3, distributed to a sample of students from the class of 2025. Data analysis was conducted using Spearman's Rank correlation technique due to the non-normal distribution of the data. The statistical analysis results indicated a correlation coefficient rs of -0.184 with a significance level p of 0.000 (p less than 0.05). These findings demonstrate that there is a significant negative relationship between social support and loneliness among first-year students. The higher the perceived social support received, the lower the level of loneliness experienced by the students, and vice versa. The conclusion of this study confirms that social support plays a critical role as a protective factor in reducing student loneliness during the academic transition. Educational institutions are advised to optimize psychosocial development programs and encourage a supportive peer environment for freshmen.
