Abstract

Students are required to learn in solving problems in the form of tasks taken. This study aims to find the effect of recitation methods to improve physics learning outcomes and physical learning outcomes in grade VIII students MTs Nunggi. The method used is experimental research. The results showed that the students' activity in the experimental class was very active (average score 3.67) and the control class was quite active (average score 2.33). Teacher activity in the experimental class has been very active (average score 3.67) and in the control class is quite active (average score 2.16). Student learning result data that in experiment and control class is processed using t-test equation. The t-test value is 2.79 at the 5% significance level of 2.79 and the t-table (t-test> t-table). Therefore the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. We conclude that the method of recitation for improving physics learning outcomes in grade VII MTS Nunggi has an effect of 13.63%.

Abstract

Misconceptions are concepts that are inconsistent with the scientific or scientific understanding received by scientists in the field concerned. This study aims to identify student misconception on dynamic electrical material. This study is a preliminary study in which, students' answers are analyzed based on the average Certainty of Response Index (CRI) listed on the answer sheet. In general, students are still experiencing misconceptions on dynamic electrical materials identified using 10 problems, namely: 1) wrong choice 60.72%; 2) correct choice of wrong reasons 33.46%; 3) correct choice true reason 4.98%; and 4) empty answer 0.79%. Based on the result, it can be concluded that students generally are still experiencing misconceptions on dynamic electrical materials so that comprehensive improvement needs to be done to overcome the problem.

Abstract

The facts found are that teacher’s use conventional learning, students only listen and record, Mid Semester Score has not reached the classical completion standard. Therefore this study aims to improve student physics learning achievement through the application of interactive learning model using constructivism approach on the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Lingsar academic year 2012/2013. This research is a classroom action research that has been done in 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Student questionnaire data given in cycle I through the questionnaire with an average score of 32.8 (positive category). Student achievement data obtained through the test given at each end of the cycle. Cycle I consists of 3 sessions. The results showed that the average score evaluation analysis 63.39 and classical learning completeness of 56.52% (category not complete). Cycle II consists of 4 sessions. The results show that the average score of evaluation analysis is 75.60 and the classical completeness is 86.95% (complete category). We conclude that the application of interactive learning model using constructivism approach has a positive impact on student physics achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kemampuan berpikir siswa SMA di Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya pada mata pelajaran fisika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 220 siswa dari 6 sekolah yang berbeda. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes melalui pemberian soal pilihan ganda beralasan. Teknik penilaian yang digunakan adalah teknik penilaian polytomous empat kategori dengan mengikuti model kredit parsial (PCM). Instrumen soal yang digunakan adalah instrumen kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan berpikir berada pada kategori kurang dari empat kategori yang ditetapkan yaitu sangat baik, baik, cukup, dan kurang.Measurement of Thinking Ability Level of Southwest Sumba High School Students Based on Revised Bloom's TaxonomyAbstractThis study aims to measure the level of thinking ability of high school students in Southwest Sumba Regency on physics subjects. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The research sample consisted of 220 students from 6 different schools. The data collection method used in this study is a test method through the provision of reasoned multiple-choice questions. The assessment technique used is a four-category polytomous assessment technique by following the partial credit model (PCM). The question instrument used is the higher-order thinking ability (HOTS) instrument. The results showed that the level of thinking ability was in the category of less than the four defined categories, namely very good, good, sufficient, and poor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of problem-solving methods through a demonstration of student physics learning outcomes. Research has been done on X level students in high school. The research method used is experiment. The number of samples is 46 students taken from two classes that have the same initial ability. The data obtained is taken from the post-test value. The research hypothesis was tested by using t test statistic. The result of t-test analysis on the learning process shows the value of t-test = 1.740 is greater than t-table = 1.694 (1.740> 1.694). Therefore, Ho is rejected and Ha is not rejected. We conclude that the use of teaching materials using problem-solving methods through demonstrations has a positive impact on student success.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the impact of the applying Giving Question Getting Answers model with experimental methods toward the learning motivation and result of physics learning. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with posttest only control group design. The population was all student of grade XI in senior high school 1 of  Labuapi. The sampling technique used saturation sampling, while the sample are class XI MIA 1 as the experimental 1 class, and the XI MIA 2 as experimental 2 class. Experimental 1 class was treated with giving question getting answers learning model with experimental methods and experimental 2 class was treated with giving question getting answers learning model without experimental methods. The instrument of motivation learning was used motivation questionnaire and instrument the result of physics learning used multiple choice test. The research hypothesis was tested using Manova-test, data analysis shows that Sig. <0,05 which mean that H0 was rejected and Ha accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there are effect of Giving Question Getting Answers model with experimental methods on student’s motivation and physics learning result.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop physics learning materials based on guided inquiry model integrated with virtual laboratory to practice student’s scientific argumentation skill. This research uses 4D development model and tested in 91 students, divided into three classes, X MIPA 1, X MIPA 2, and X MIPA 3 SMA Senopati Sedati with try out design using one group pretest-posttest design. The learning instruments developed are: (a) syllabus (b) lesson plan, (c) student’s book, (d) student worksheet, and (e) test of students’ scientific argumentation skill. The Research data gotten through validation method, observation, test, and questionnaire. The research result was analyzed descriptively quantitative and qualitative. The students’ scientific argumentation skill was analyzed with n-gain. The research result gotten are (a) the learning instruments developed categorized as very valid, (b) the learning activity was well done, (c) the students’ scientific argumentation skill run into enhancement in middle categorized, and (d) the students responded very positively to the learning that is already implemented. Based on analysis result and discussion, it can be concluded that the physics learning material guided inquiry model integrated with virtual laboratory developed is worthy to be used to practice students’ scientific argumentation skill.

Abstract

Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) adalah salah satu masalah kesehatan yang progresif dengan angka mortalitas maupun morbiditas yang tinggi dan berpotensi terjadi ADRs (adverse drug reactions). Resiko ADRs pada pasien CHF berkaitan dengan regimen obat yang kompleks dan banyaknya komorbiditas pada pasien tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengukur kausalitas dan menganalisis obat dan jenis ADRs yang paling sering terjadi. Penelitian ini termasuk retrospective study dengan data penelitian yang digunakan adalah data pasien CHF yang menjalani rawat inap RSUD Provinsi NTB dari tahun 2017 sampai 2019. Penilaian kausalitas ADRs menggunnakan skala WHO-UMC. Data pasien CHF yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 325 pasien. Sebanyak 223 pasien (68,6%) tercatat mengalami ADRs dengan hasil penilaian kausalitas menggunakan WHO-UMC antara lain 8 (1,8%) certain, 178 (39,9%) probable/likely, dan 260 (58,3%) possible. Obat yang paling banyak menimbulkan ADRs dengan status kausalitas certain adalah ramipril yang menimbulkan batuk. Kesimpulan: sebagian besar ADRs yang terjadi pada pasien CHF adalah possible dan jenis obat yang paling tinggi menimbulkan ADRs adalah ramipril sehingga penggunaan ramipril perlu lebih diperhatikan karena termasuk highly probable dalam menimbulkan ADRs.Identification of The Causality of ADR (Adverse Drug Reactions) in CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) PatientsAbstractCongestive Heart Failure (CHF) is a progressive health problem with high mortality and morbidity rates and the potential for ADRs (adverse drug reactions). The risk of ADRs in CHF patients is related to the complex drug regimen and the many comorbidities in these patients. This study was conducted to measure causality and analyze the most common drugs and types of ADRs. This study includes a retrospective study with the research data used is data on CHF patients who underwent hospitalization at the NTB Provincial Hospital from 2017 to 2019. The causality assessment of ADRs used the WHO-UMC scale. Data on CHF patients used in this study were 325 patients. A total of 223 patients (68.6%) were recorded to have ADRs with the results of a causality assessment using WHO-UMC including 8 (1.8%) certain, 178 (39.9%) probable/likely, and 260 (58.3%) possible. The drug that causes the most ADRs with certain causality status is ramipril which causes coughing. Conclusion: most of the ADRs that occur in CHF patients are possible and the type of drug that causes the highest ADRs is ramipril so that the use of ramipril needs to be paid more attention because it is highly probable in causing ADRs.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student physics education learning outcomes in computational physics courses by using a valid and practical drawing module. In the first stage, students are assigned to read and understand the style material contained in the pictorial module. To ensure they read and understand the material, the next session is a quiz. Quiz done through writing. For students who can not answer are given remedial until they can be sure read the existing teaching materials. In the second stage, students are considered to have sufficient stock in understanding the reading material, the students at this stage are no longer assigned to read and understand the material but to practice the material, such as calculating the style. The result of the practice of the students in the first stage, reading and understanding the material contained in the pictorial module, as many as 82.35% or 14 students passed the practice without having to remedial, while the rest as much as 17.65% or 3 new people declared passed after remidial. In the second stage, students are assigned to practice style materials on the pictorial module, 100% complete achievement.

Abstract

One-dimensional wave problem research has been done based on numerical computation reviews. The one-dimensional wave equation has been completed using the finite difference method. Results of completion based on the results of numerical computation reviews are simulated using MATLAB programming software. The simulation suggests that numerical computation is reliable for solving mathematical equations.
