Abstract

This study aims to determine the need for learning media in the form of student worksheets on the digestive system based on an integrated problem-based learning model with Islamic values for grade XI MAN 1 Padang Lawas Plus Skills & Research. This study is a quantitative descriptive study. The method used to collect data was through the distribution of questionnaires to biology teachers and grade XI MIPA students. The results of the analysis of the student and teacher questionnaires indicate that the digestive system material is one of the materials considered challenging in learning, and the learning resources used so far are deemed uninteresting. The integration of Islamic values in these worksheets aims to connect biological concepts with the Quran and Hadith, thereby making learning more meaningful and fostering Islamic character development in students. The learning resources provided by teachers include biology textbooks, PowerPoint presentations, simple worksheets, and others; however, student learning outcomes remain consistent, highlighting the need for varied learning media. One solution to this issue is to develop learning media in the form of student worksheets based on the problem-based learning model integrated with Islamic values, which are valid and practical.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan bahan ajar berupa booklet bernuansa religius pada materi bakteri untuk peserta didik kelas X Fase E di SMA Negeri 1 Koto Balingka. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dalam kerangka penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D yang dibatasi hingga tahap develop. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru biologi, dan angket kepada peserta didik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa materi bakteri dianggap sulit dipahami karena banyaknya istilah ilmiah dan minimnya bahan ajar visual. Sebanyak 91,07% peserta didik menyatakan perlunya integrasi nilai religius dalam bahan ajar, dan seluruh peserta didik mendukung pengembangan booklet bernuansa religius. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan booklet bernuansa religius pada materi bakteri diperlukan sebagai bahan ajar alternatif yang mampu menyederhanakan konsep biologis sekaligus menanamkan nilai-nilai religius.

Abstract

Bahan ajar memiliki fungsi penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik, karena pemanfaatan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa dan materi pembelajaran dapat menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik dan interaktif contoh bahan ajar yaitu e-booklet disusun dengan menggunakan bahasa yang mudah dimengerti, disertai gambar-gambar yang berhubungan dengan materi sehingga menumbuhkan minat peserta didik untuk membaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebutuhan e-booklet bernuansa emotional spiritual quotient sebagai alat bantu dalam pembelajaran biologi, khususnya pada materi ekosistem Fase E SMA/MA. Metode Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan peserta didik dari kelas X E1, X E2, X E3 di SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. Hasil penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru bahwa guru dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar seperti buku paket, lkpd dan modul, namun belum pernah mengembangkan e-booklet bernuansa emotional spiritual quotient dalam proses pembelajaran. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dibutuhkannya e-booklet bernuansa emotional spiritual quotient tentang materi ekosistem.

Abstract

Creative thinking is one of the essential 21st-century skills that needs to be developed in the learning process in schools, especially at the high school level. Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is a learning model that is considered effective in fostering students' creative thinking skills through solving real-life problems in the form of projects. This study aims to systematically examine the effect of the PjBL model on students' creative thinking skills based on various previous research results. The method used is a literature study of relevant national and international scientific articles, supplemented by contextual data in the form of educational news in the mass media. Findings from the literature indicate that the implementation of PjBL can improve students' creative thinking skills, such as the ability to express original ideas, flexibility of thinking, elaboration, and fluency in conveying ideas. This literature study examines various recent studies (2020–2025) and examples of online news related to the implementation of PjBL. From these sources, it was found that PjBL consistently improves the ability of creative thinking aspects including fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration as well as improving student learning outcomes and motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the ability of students in the Biology Education Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Maluku to develop modules containing four indicators of scientific literacy: scientific content, learning context, scientific process, and scientific values and attitudes. The method used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental group and the control group. The results showed a significant increase in the experimental group, with an average pretest to posttest score increasing by 18.3 points, while the control group only increased by 8.3 points. The final module score was also higher in the experimental group (86.5) compared to the control group (75.7). These findings confirm that Discovery Learning is effective in improving the ability to design scientific literacy-based modules comprehensively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi permainan tradisional yang terdapat di Kabupaten Agam serta menggali nilai-nilai edukatif yang terkandung di dalamnya sebagai dasar untuk pengembangan pembelajaran sains yang berwawasan kearifan lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik snowball sampling, di mana partisipan terdiri atas masyarakat dan penggiat seni yang memiliki pengetahuan tentang permainan tradisional di wilayah tersebut. Data penelitian didapatkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 18 narasumber dan dianalisis secara deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat sekitar 20 jenis permainan tradisional anak nagari yang masih dikenal dan dimainkan di Kabupaten Agam, seperti tapak lele, kasti, silek, randai, hingga congklak. Permainan-permainan ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga mengandung nilai-nilai edukatif yang tinggi, seperti kerja sama, sportivitas, kreativitas, disiplin, berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan sosial. Selain itu, nilai-nilai tersebut dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran sains untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan abad ke-21 pada peserta didik.

Abstract

Memilih media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik merupakan tantangan tersendiri bagi guru agar materi yang ingin disampaikan dapat diterima dan dipahami secara efektif. Penelitian ini mengemukakan analisis kebutuhan guru dan peserta didik sebagai acuan pengembangan booklet terintegrasi nilai preventif di SMAN 1 Lembah Melintang. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, sementara teknik pengumpulan data berupa lembar wawancara dan angket. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 1 orang guru Biologi dan peserta didik kelas XII Fase F yang berjumlah 103 peserta didik. Hasilnya booklet dapat menarik minat peserta didik untuk mempelajari dan mengamalkan langkah-langkah cara menjaga kesehatan tubuh melalui nilai preventif yang diintegrasikan pada media pembelajaran. Dari hal tersebut, sebanyak 74,8% peserta didik menyatakan memerlukan tambahan media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan perlunya dikembangkan media pembelajaran berupa booklet terintegrasi dengan nilai preventif kesehatan organ pencernaan pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan peserta didik Fase E SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Selatan terkait pengembangan media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran biologi materi bioteknologi konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif, sementara teknik pengumpulan data berupa lembar wawancara dan angket observasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 1 orang guru biologi dan 36 orang peserta didik kelas X Fase E. Hasil penelitian dari wawancara guru Biologi menyatakan setuju untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Dari penyebaran angket observasi kepada peserta didik yang berisi 12 pertanyaan, Hasil yang diperoleh 77,8% peserta didik setuju dengan pengembangan produk LKPD yang dapat memudahkan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan perlunya dikembangkan media pembelajaran berupa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis inkuiri terbimbing tentang submateri bioteknologi konvensional.

Abstract

This research proposes a needs analysis of teachers and students as a reference for the development of booklets integrated with preventive values at SMAN 1 Barumun. The type of research conducted is quantitative descriptive research, while data collection techniques are in the form of interview sheets and questionnaires. The subjects of this study were 1 Biology teacher and students of class XI Phase F which amounted to 31 students. The result is that the booklet can attract students to learn and practice the steps of how to maintain a healthy body through the preventive value integrated in the learning media. From this, students stated that they needed additional interesting learning media to support the learning process. These results indicate the need to develop learning media in the form of booklets integrated with preventive health values on human respiratory system material.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the validity and practicality of e-booklets as learning media through a meta-analysis approach. The research method was conducted by reviewing 10 relevant articles published between 2020 and 2025, which were then analyzed based on validity and practicality criteria. The results show that the average validity score of e-booklets reached 91.52%, categorized as very valid, while the average practicality score reached 89.63%, categorized as very practical. The highest validity score was 98.20%, whereas the lowest score was still within the very valid category at 83.30%. Meanwhile, the highest practicality score was 97.73%, and the lowest still fell into the practical category at 79.95%. These findings indicate that e-booklets are feasible to be implemented in biology learning as they meet both validity and practicality standards. In conclusion, e-booklets not only support academic quality but also align with the learning needs of students in the digital era.
