Abstract

Ilmu biologi memiliki potensi signifikan dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter Islami yang selaras dengan ajaran Al-Qur'an dan Sunnah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi keterkaitan antara konsep-konsep biologi, seperti embriologi, ekologi, genetika, fisiologi manusia, dan keanaekaragaman hayati dengan nilai-nilai moral dan etika Islam, termasuk keadilan, kesabaran, dan tanggung jawab. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian sastra yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan tafsir Al-Qur'an, analisis hadis, dan teori-teori biologi modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biologi dapat memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang penciptaan manusia, interaksi dengan alam, dan tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan, yang semuanya mendukung pembentukan karakter Islami yang holistik. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi baru dengan menawarkan perspektif interdisipliner antara sains dan agama yang jarang dieksplorasi secara mendalam. Kesimpulannya, pengintegrasian ilmu biologi dengan ajaran Islam dapat menjadi pendekatan strategi dalam membangun karakter individu dan masyarakat yang bertanggung jawab secara spiritual dan ekologis. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi landasan untuk pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan berbasis nilai-nilai Islami dan sains modern.

Abstract

STEM Approach through PjBL Model on Voltaic Cell Material to Develop Students' Psychomotor Skills. Learning not only focuses on aspects of knowledge and attitudes but also skills or psychomotor abilities. Especially in chemistry learning, psychomotor skills are an important aspect because they involve a lot of activities in the ability to use tools, materials and technology. One of the relevant approaches is the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic) approach applied through the PjBL (Project Based Learning) learning model. This study aims to describe the psychomotor skills after the application of the STEM approach through the PjBL model on “Sel Volta” material. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the learning can build students' psychomotor abilities well with the results obtained in the excellent category of 73.17%, good by 21.95%, and sufficient by 4.88%.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool that has a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process, because media functions as a means of conveying effective information to students. One of the teaching media that is widely used is student worksheets. With advances in technology, electronic-based student worksheets are needed. Electronic LKPD is a student practice sheet that is done digitally and carried out systematically. This research aims to identify students' needs for e-LKPD that integrates Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) aspects as additional teaching materials in learning activities. This research uses descriptive methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collection techniques were through interviews with a biology teacher and distributing questionnaires to 70 students in Classes X E1 and X E2 at SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan. The interview results showed that the teacher only used the textbook provided by the school and had never developed e-LKPD with Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) nuances in learning activities. So students do not have supporting teaching materials to be able to learn independently. From this research it can be concluded that there is a great need for e-LKPD with Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) nuances regarding biodiversity material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Science Environment Technology and Society pada Materi Pencemaran Lingkungan terhadap Kemampuan Literasi Sains Siswa Kelas VII di MTs Nurul Huda Limboro. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperiment dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Seluruh siswa kelas VII terlibat sebagai populasi dan sampel diambil dengan menggunakan purposive random sampling dimana kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan soal tes kemampuan literasi sains. Teknik pengolahan data melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji independent samples t-test dengan bantuan SPSS Statistic 27. Hasil data posttest dengan menggunakan software SPSS Statistic 27 memperoleh nilai signifikansi uji independent samples t-test yaitu sebesar 0,000 < (α) 0,05 yang artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan Science Environment Technology and Society berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa.

Abstract

Education in the 21st century requires a systematic and innovative approach to develop students' character and intellect. This study aims to analyze the implementation of E-LKPD with Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) nuances in learning the digestive system equipped with crossword puzzles in SMA/MA. Using the literature review method, this study collected and analyzed 10 articles published between 2021 and 2025. The results showed that the E-LKPD developed had high validity and practicality, and had a positive impact on student learning outcomes, both in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. In addition, the integration of emotional and spiritual values in E-LKPD can increase students' awareness of the importance of EQ and SQ in everyday life. This study concludes that the application of E-LKPD with ESQ nuances not only improves students' intellectual abilities, but also supports the development of their character and morality in society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh penerapan Macromedia Flash terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII pada materi gerak lurus di MTs nurul Huda Limboro. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis adalah tes berbentuk pilhan ganda dan penyebaran angket respon siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji-t dengan bantuan Software IBM SPSS Statistics 27 dan pengolahan angket respon menggunakan Microsoft Office Excel. Hasil data pretest dengan menggunakan Software IBM SPSS Statistics 27 memperoleh nilai uji-t 0,000 < (ɑ) 0,05 yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, ini menunjukan bahwa pengunaan macromedia flash dapat eningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi gerak lurus. Hasil analisis angket respon siswa terhadap penggunaan macromedia flash sangat baik, dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata 78,97 siswa MTs Nurul Huda Limboro memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan macromedia flash.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' scientific argumentation skills in the context of environmental change using Toulmin's Argument Pattern. The topic of environmental change was selected due to its contemporary relevance and inherent complexity, which necessitates robust argumentation. The participants consisted of 76 Phase E (10th grade) students at SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan, selected through random sampling. A qualitative descriptive design was employed, with data collected through seven argumentative essay questions and student interviews. The responses were assessed using a rubric based on Toulmin’s components: claim, data, warrant, backing, and rebuttal. The findings revealed that 76% of students exhibited weak argumentation skills, 17% demonstrated moderate proficiency, and only 7% performed at a strong level. The study provides a comprehensive overview of students' argumentation abilities and identifies strengths and weaknesses in their application of Toulmin’s framework. The implications of this research highlight the need for developing more effective instructional strategies to enhance students' scientific argumentation skills, particularly in addressing environmental issues.

Abstract

The 4D development methodology, which consists of the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate, can be used to create LKPD based on PjBL-Socioscientific Issues with the topic of environmental change and conservation. The research carried out by Rahmawati has produced LKPD to the development stage, so further research is needed for the disseminate stage, one of which is through effectiveness testing. Quasy experiment is the method used in this study, with a pretest-postest control group as the design. The population taken in this study is all phase E students at SMAN 12 Padang. The samples were randomly selected, with class E5 being the experimental group while E2 being the control group. The data collected were in the form of test results of students' creative thinking skills, which were measured using a description test instrument that had been tested for validity and reliability. The Mann Whitney U Test and the N-gain Test were used as data analysis in this study. The results showed that the average creative thinking ability of students in the experimental class was significantly higher than that of the control class. The hypothesis test with the Mann Whitney U test yielded a significance value of 0.000. The results of the N-gain test in the experimental class were 55% in the medium category, while in the control class was 37% in the medium category. Thus, it can be concluded that the PJBL-Socioscientific Issues Based LKPD on environmental change and conservation materials improves the results of the creative thinking skills of phase E students of SMAN 12 Padang

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for E-LKPD with an Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) focus as a learning aid in biology education, particularly for virus-related material at the phase E level of senior high school/madrasah aliyah. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative and qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews with a biology teacher and the distribution of observation sheets to 99 students from classes X E1, X E2, and X E3 at SMA N 2 Lubuk Basung. The results of this study, based on the teacher's interview, indicate that teachers use media such as PowerPoint and educational videos from YouTube in the learning process, but have never developed E-LKPD with an Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) focus in the learning process. From these findings, it can be concluded that there is a significant need to develop E-LKPD with an Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) focus on virus related material.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ada empat: pertama, untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran IPA berbasis praktikum; kedua, untuk mengetahui manfaat dari praktikum IPA; ketiga, untuk mengkaji relevansi antara pembelajaran IPA berbasis praktikum dengan teori kognitif Piaget; dan keempat, untuk mengidentifikasi hambatan-hambatan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA berbasis praktikum di pendidikan menengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode kajian pustaka sistematis. Sebuah tinjauan literatur sistematis yang komprehensif telah dilakukan untuk memastikan keefektifan pembelajaran sains berbasis praktikum di pendidikan menengah. Temuan telah menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pedagogis ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep-konsep ilmiah, mengasah keterampilan proses mereka, dan memupuk sikap ilmiah yang positif. Kajian ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa metode ini tidak hanya berperan dalam mengasah kemampuan praktis, tetapi juga dalam menumbuhkan pemahaman konseptual yang mendalam. Temuan ini sangat relevan dengan teori perkembangan kognitif Jean Piaget, yang menggarisbawahi pentingnya pengalaman langsung, interaksi konkret, dan keterlibatan dengan lingkungan dalam memfasilitasi perkembangan kognitif.
