Abstract

This study examines the influence of brand ambassadors, product quality, and price on consumers’ purchase decisions regarding Collagena, a collagen supplement. Against the backdrop of a rapidly expanding health and beauty market, the research investigates how endorsements by public figures, perceptions of product efficacy, and pricing strategies shape purchasing behavior. A quantitative survey was conducted using a structured questionnaire distributed online, yielding 100 valid responses from individuals who had purchased or considered purchasing Collagena. The measurement items for Brand Ambassador, Product Quality, Price, and Purchase Decision were validated (all item–total correlations r > 0.197) and demonstrated strong reliability (Cronbach’s α = 0.884). Classical assumption tests confirmed normality (Kolmogorov–Smirnov p = 0.200), no multicollinearity (VIF < 10 for all variables), and homoskedasticity (Glejser’s test p > 0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that Brand Ambassador (β = 0.270, p = 0.001), Product Quality (β = 0.319, p < 0.001), and Price (β = 0.335, p < 0.001) each exert a significant positive partial effect on purchase decisions. Simultaneously, these three factors collectively explained 39.5% of the variance in purchase decision (Adjusted R² = 0.395, F = 22.578, p < 0.001). The findings suggest that Collagena’s marketing strategies should prioritize credible ambassador partnerships, transparent quality communication, and value-based pricing to strengthen consumer trust and drive sales. Future research may explore additional variables—such as brand image or promotional activities—to account for the remaining variation in purchase behavior.

Abstract

Analyzing the influence of location and service quality via Google Reviews on purchasing decisions at Ombak Laut Restaurant, Ancol, North Jakarta. In today's digital era, online reviews, especially via Google Reviews, have become an important factor influencing consumer perceptions and purchasing decisions. This research uses a quantitative approach with primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 247 respondents, who are visitors to the Ombak Laut Restaurant. The independent variables in this research are location and service quality, the intervening variable is Google Reviews, and the dependent variable is purchasing decisions. The research method used is multiple linear regression to analyze direct and indirect relationships between variables. The research results show that location and service quality have a significant influence on Google Reviews. Furthermore, Google Reviews acts as a mediator that strengthens the influence of location and service quality on purchasing decisions. These findings show that strategic location, quality service, and positive reviews from consumers are an effective combination to encourage increased purchasing decisions. This research provides a practical contribution for Ombak Laut Restaurant managers in designing marketing strategies that focus on improving service quality and managing digital reviews to maintain competitiveness. Apart from that, the results of this research can also be a reference for similar research in the field of digital marketing management and the culinary industry. The limitation of this research lies in the sample coverage which only includes visitors to the Ombak Laut Restaurant in Dki Jakarta, so the results may not necessarily apply to other locations or types of businesses. Future research is expected to expand the object of study and consider additional factors, such as digital promotion and competition, to provide a deeper understanding of the influence of digital reviews.

Abstract

In times of economic instability, auditors face increasing challenges in maintaining professional judgment and audit quality. This study investigates the relationship between perceived economic uncertainty and auditors’ professional skepticism, while also examining the moderating role of self-efficacy and the mediating role of client pressure. Using a quantitative approach, survey data were collected from 100 external auditors across public accounting firms in Indonesia. The results of regression analysis reveal that higher perceived economic uncertainty significantly reduces the level of professional skepticism. Additionally, client pressure was found to negatively impact skepticism, while self-efficacy exhibited a strong positive effect, acting as a buffer against external pressures. These findings suggest that both environmental and individual-level factors influence auditor behavior during uncertain economic conditions. This study contributes to the behavioral auditing literature by incorporating macroeconomic perceptions into the audit judgment framework and offers practical implications for audit firms and regulators to strengthen auditor resilience and objectivity under pressure.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership on employee engagement within the context of hybrid work environments. As organizations adopt flexible work models combining remote and on-site arrangements, sustaining employee motivation and involvement has become increasingly challenging. A quantitative explanatory research method was employed, using survey data collected from 102 employees working under hybrid models. The instruments used included a transformational leadership scale (MLQ) and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES), measured through a 5-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using linear regression and quadrant mapping. The results show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement (R² = 0.425; p < 0.001). Furthermore, quadrant analysis revealed that most respondents were classified as "Engaged Hybrid Teams," characterized by high leadership and engagement. However, the presence of "Leadership-Driven but Unengaged Teams" suggests that strong leadership must be complemented by adaptive strategies tailored to hybrid work challenges. This study underscores the critical role of leadership style in promoting engagement and offers practical implications for HR and organizational development in the post-pandemic workplace.

Abstract

The problem of carbon emissions from the transportation sector continues to increase globally and nationally, driving a shift in trends towards the use of more environmentally friendly electric vehicles. However, the adoption of electric cars in Indonesia still faces various challenges, including the dominance of fossil-fueled vehicles and low consumer emotional attachment to new brands. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-image congruence, hedonic motivation, and brand experience on purchase intention with brand attachment as an intervening variable, in the context of potential consumers of the BYD SEAL brand electric vehicle in the Purwokerto area. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, where data were collected from 160 purposively selected respondents. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that self-image congruence and brand experience have a significant positive effect on brand attachment, while hedonic motivation has no significant effect. Furthermore, purchase intention is significantly influenced by hedonic motivation and brand attachment, but not directly by self-image congruence or brand experience. Brand attachment has been shown to mediate the relationship between self-image congruence and brand experience on purchase intention, but not the relationship between hedonic motivation and purchase intention. This finding supports the Stimulus–Organism–Response (SOR) theoretical framework and emphasizes the importance of emotional attachment to the brand in shaping consumers' purchase intention for electric vehicles.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Regional Original Income (PAD) and General Allocation Funds (DAU) on regional financial independence and economic growth in the Riau Islands Province in 2013-2023. The research method used is a quantitative method with secondary data in the form of budget realization reports. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression and path analysis to test the direct and indirect effects between variables. The research results show that PAD has a positive and significant influence on regional financial independence, while DAU has no significant influence. Apart from that, neither PAD nor DAU have a significant effect on regional economic growth. This research identifies limitations in the sample coverage which only involves districts/cities in the Riau Islands Province as well as low Adjusted R Square values, which indicate the existence of other variables that have not been studied but have the potential to influence the results. This research recommends further studies to expand the regional coverage, extending the period research time, as well as adding other relevant variables to enrich the analysis. It is hoped that these findings will provide insight for local governments in increasing financial independence and economic growth through optimizing regional resources.
