Abstract

Resistansi pembumian di Laboratorium Instalasi Listrik Politeknik Negeri Bandung (Polban) sebesar 10,3 Ohm. Nilai tersebut melebihi standar maksimum menurut Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik Tahun 2000 (PUIL 2000) yaitu maksimum 5 Ohm. Proteksi petir di Politeknik Negeri Bandung yang semula menggunakan sistem konvensional beralih ke sistem elektrostatis dikarenakan banyak kawat tembaga yang hilang sehingga banyak elektroda pembumian bekas proteksi petir konvensional yang tidak dipakai. Oleh karena itu elektroda pembumian tersebut bisa dimanfaatkan untuk memperbaiki nilai resistansi pembumian instalasi listrik. Hal tersebut menjadi latar belakang dalam penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki nilai resistansi pembumian instasi listrik di Laboratorium Instalasi Listrik Polban sehingga bisa mengurangi bahaya sengatan listrik yang mungkin terjadi akibat kegagalan isolasi. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah metoda eksperimental yaitu dengan melakukan pengukuran nilai resistansi pembumian instalasi listrik sebelum perbaikan dan setelah perbaikan dengan alat ukur Earth Tester. Perbaikan nilai resistansi pembumian instalasi dilakukan dengan cara menggabungkan elektroda pembumian bekas proteksi petir dengan elektroda pembumian instalasi listrik. Hasil yang dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah bisa memperkecil nilai resistansi pembumian instalasi listrik yang semula 10,3 Ohm sebelum perbaikan menjadi 1 Ohm setelah perbaikan, dan telah sesuai dengan Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik Tahun 2000

Abstract

This paper discusses the simulation of automation control and hull manufacturing on a fast boat. This high-speed boat that will be carried out for fish mapping. This study uses a numerical simulation to predict its motion. The experiment was carried out 3 times in forward motion, and 3 times in turn motion. The ship’s time and movement in ideal conditions will be recorded for each experiment. With the PID value for forward overshoot with values such as: 8.94%, 30.86%, and 40.60%, while turning overshoot is obtained, among others: 25.77%, 49.82%, and 61.15% Then the advanced settling time obtained includes: 0.91 seconds, 3.84 seconds, and 5.31 seconds. The settling time for turns is: 1,022 seconds, 0.85 seconds, and 0.84 seconds These values are obtained from the simulation graph of the three-dof formulas for surge, sway, yaw.

Abstract

Troubleshooting on the temperature gauge on the engine control panel 3066 with the serial number is 7JKa method used to find the cause of the problem with the temperature gauge. The temperature gaugecontained in the 3066 control panel engine does not work while running. Therefore, this research aims todetermine the cause of the temperature gauge on the 3066 control panel engine not functioning. The formof this research is to take data on the method of problem solving and repair of temperature gauges that areexperiencing problems by buying new components that do not use transformer step-ups. Instrumentationdata in literature research, data, visual inspection and making changes to temperature gauges. The resultsof conducting literature studies, studying data, visual inspection, and replacing the temperature gauge witha new one on the 3066 control panel engine, get the root of the problem of damage to the coil of the stepup transformer because the input voltage is too large. Abstract

Abstract In previous research, it has been proven that the measurement technique, setting and use of quality measuring instruments can increase the quality of measurements during the bending process of steel plates (ST.37). However, this research has not examined the types of materials other than steel, even though other materials apart from ST.37, for example aluminum plates, brass plates and steel plates are widely used, especially in the manufacturing industry.. Therefore, the aim of this research is to analyze the effect of the type of material on the quality of the measurement in the bending process. This study uses an experimental method, combined with a theory that supports the discussion of the problem. The materials used are 3 different types of material plates (aluminum plate, brass plate and steel plate). The parameters observed include the measurement technique, setting and use of measuring instruments. Each material received 10 repetitions of the measurements. These three parameters were analyzed using ANOVA statistics, in order to determine the quality of the measurement of each material and the most dominant factors affecting the quality of the measurements. Abstract

To increase reliability of SIPESAT® Incinerator, off-grid solar powerplant was installed. The aim of this paper is to designing the requirement of the main equipment for the solar powerplant. 270 w, 3 autonomies days were used as the main parameter. Abstract

Indonesia is the fourth most populous country with a population of more than 270 million people and is expected to continue to increase. The increasing population has an effect on increasing municipal solid waste (MSW) generation and energy demand. Waste-to-energy (WTE) can be a solution to these two problems. This article will discuss two types of waste-to-energy technology, namely anaerobic digestion and landfill gas recovery. The study began by conducting kinetic modeling on the two technologies to determine the potential of biogas energy produced from municipal waste in Indonesia, the case study applied was Yogyakarta. Then a feasibility study was carried out to find out whether these two technologies are possible to be applied in Indonesia in terms of various aspects such as initial capital costs, operating and maintenance costs, and waste processing service costs. At the end of the study, it was found that biogas power plant with both technology bases was economically feasible. Landfill gas recovery is more attractive because it has a smaller capital and a higher IRR of 22%. The scenario using anaerobic digestion requires a larger capital than the previous scenario and has a lower IRR value of 14%. Abstract

The economic development of Indonesia from year to year, especially in terms of tourism developments and also the supporting factors that are Condotel, Villatel, and other lodging places. Given the promising business opportunity in terms of commercial properties in the field of tourism support, thus causing a large number of entrepreneurs who intend to build the commercial property, but before building a commercial property required the proper calculation and estimate of funds, the estimate of the market price and also the time period of sales estimates on the future commercial property will be sold, where the value of this market is also used by a Bank in determining the amount of funds that can be approved if there is a commercial On the basis of this research will examine the market value and the value of the liquidation of commercial properties, especially on the commercial properties of Villatel and Condotel using the method of income approach and cost approach. The results of research obtained after the thorough calculation of Condotel and Villatel obtained the market value of Rp. 145 950 000 000, while the value of liquidation or forced selling value of Rp. 102 165 000 000. The liquidation value is less than the market value due to the value of liquidation is 70% of the nominal market value.

Abstract

Abstrak Limbah buah pisang (LBP) dapat menurunkan estetika lingkungan baik dari segi keindahan maupun bau yang ditimbulkan. Salah satu solusi mengatasi hal tersebut dengan memanfaatkan LBP menjadi bioaktivator (BA) alami untuk membantu pengomposan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui waktu pengomposan dan kualitas kompos. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua tahap: pembuatan BA; dan proses pengomposan. Pembuatan BA dilakukan selama 14 hari dengan 2 perlakuan penambahan gula pasir (GP): 200 gram GP (notasi S1); dan 250 gram GP (notasi S2) serta satu kali ulangan, kemudian diaduk setiap 3 hari sekali sampai larutan menjadi coklat muda bening dan pada permukaannya membentuk layer nata tipis. S1 memenuhi kriteria sebagai BA dengan waktu pengomposan 30 hari, dengan pengecekan suhu dan penimbangan berat kompos setiap 3 hari sekali. Penyusutan berat kompos menjadi 56%, berwarna coklat kehitaman, suhu 320C, bau seperti tanah, kadar P2O5, kadar K2O dan kadar air sesuai SNI 19-7030-2004, sedangkan pH, N, C-organik, rasio C/N tidak sesuai SNI 19-7030-2004. Abstract

Peningkatan penggunaan plastik mengakibatkan peningkatan dan penumpukan volume sampah plastik yang mengakibatkan masalah lingkungan, karena plastik merupakan bahan anorganik sangat sulit terurai di alam. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memanfaatkan sampah plastik jenis Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETE) menjadi bahan bakar cair dengan metode pirolisis menggunakan katalis agar dapat meningkatkan perolehan produk cair dan kualitas bahan bakar cair yang dihasilkan. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan membuat sebuah reaktor sederhana untuk mendapatkan bahan bakar cair, setelah produk dihasilkan, dihitung yield, dan diuji densitas, viskositas, dan nilai kalornya. Hasil penelelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan katalis bentonite clay menghasilkan rendemen (Yield) sebesar 21,74% dimana nilai ini lebih besar sekitar 4,1 % hingga 6,7 % daripada katalis Active Carbon. Dan nilai kalornya berkisar antara 10.572–10.860 cal/g, maupun densitas dan viskositas produknya masih memenuhi standar baku mutu bahan bakar minyak (BBM) komersial.
