Abstract

This study aims to increase the efficiency of the MHP (Micro Hydro Power Plant) system head 5 meter by means of the hybrid turbine (crossflow turbine and propeller turbine). Propeller turbines placed in the upper basin and crossflow turbines placed in water pipes exit (bottom). This research activity was carried out into three parts; The first is the MHP system with a propeller turbine. Both MHP system with crossflow turbines. The three MPH system hybrid turbine. The research results of the MHP system with a hybrid turbine can produce a maximum efficiency of 24.70%. The MHP system with propeller turbine can produce a maximum efficiency of 20.48%. The MHP system with a crossflow turbine can produce a maximum efficiency of 9.07%. So this research can prove that the efficiency of the MHP system with a hybrid turbine is better than using only a single turbine, but it is not always able to produce better electrical power.Keywords: Propeller, crossflow, hybrid, efficiency, electric power.

Abstract

Terjadinya problem mengenai prosedur pengoperasian yang tidak sesuai pada heavy equipment di lapangan, merupakan salah satu penyebab usia komponen tidak tercapai secara maksimal. Maka dari itu perlu adanya sebuah inovasi untuk lebih memudahkan dalam monitoring dan pengoperasian heavy equipment utamanya pada saat terjadi pergantian shift kerja operator heavy equipment. Pengalaman operator dibeberapa kegiatan mining, banyak operator mematikan engine secara tiba-tiba sehingga dampaknya pada engine bisa menimbulkan over heating yang mengakibatkan terjadinya keausan yang berlebihan dan akan berdampak pada performance engine tersebut. Dan karenanya tujuan pembuatan safety device  cooling down yang berbasis microcontroller merupakan alat yang berfungsi untuk mematikan engine saat engine low idle dengan settingan waktu sesuai standar operasional procedure yang dimiliki masing-masing machine. Machine yang telah dioperasikan under load, maka engine harus dilakukan low idle/ cooling down untuk beberapa saat, agar temperature panas pada permukaan engine turun, sehingga komponen yang panas dapat terlumasi dengan baik. Dengan pembuatan safety device engine cooling down diharapkan dapat membantu dalam proses monitoring dan pengoperasian heavy equipment. Dari hasil pengujian lapangan relay yang mengontrol kelistrikan unit berfungsi dengan baik dan safety device cooling down  memiliki waktu 5 menit untuk engine shutdown.

Abstract

In this research, electronics industry waste water has been processed into clean water. The study was conducted by flowing of 4.5 liters of waste water into the three cells of electrocoagulation process tank. Each cell is filled 1.5 liters of waste water without the addition of sea water. The electrocoagulation process is carried out at a voltage of 12 V and interval time for observation the change of current and the turbidity is done every 10 minutes. Subsequently, the same procedure was performed and added the sea water with variation of volume of  5, 10 and 15 mL. Measuring of current was done by amperemeter  and  turbidity by turbidimeter. The best conditions are recommended for use of  10 mL of sea water, 12 volt of voltage and 110 minutes for processing time. Under these conditions the current can be increased from 0.21 A to 1.52 A or equivalent 7.2 times to the initial current and then turbidity can be reduced from  44,10 NTU  to 3.25 NTU NTU  or equivalent to 92.63 %.

Abstract

Air bersih dengan kreteria jernih, tidak berbau, tidak berwarna dan tidak berasa, dipenuhi oleh pemerintah setempat memiliki keterbatasan layanan. Lingkup penelitian meliputi membuat sumur sampai membuat filter air. Ouput system berupa air yang diuji tingkat kejemihan dan tingkat kekeruhannya di Laboratorium. Dalam penelitian ini tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu pembuatan sumur, pembuatan system intake, system distribusi ke filter, pembuatan system filter dengan tiga model, ujicoba dan evaluasi, pengambilan sampel dan pengujian. Hasil penelitian berupa karya cipta filter dan kualitas air. Kualitas periode awal dengan parameter kejernihan antara 46,8 – 55,5 mg/l dengan prosentase penurunan sebesar 7% sedangkan dengan parameter kekeruhan antara 157 – 227 NTU, prosentase penurunan sebesar 12%. Kualitas periode pertengahan dengan parameter Kejernihan antara 52,4 – 65 mg/l dengan prosentase penurunan 0% sedangkan dengan parameter Kekeruhan antara 32,5 – 151 NTU dengan prosentase penurunan sebesar antara 0 – 79%. Kualitas periode akhir dengan parameter Kejernihan 4,3 mg/l dengan prosentase penurunan sebesar 5% sedangkan parameter Kekeruhan antara 88,7 – 109 NTU dengan prosentase penurunan antara 20 – 35%. Harapan awal gorong-gorong dapat ditembus oleh air tetapi kenyataan dilapangan tidak tercapai. Harapan kedua untuk mengarahkan aliran air dari bawah keatas melalui media pasir juga tidak tercapai. Harapan satu-satunya yaitu melalui bagian dasar gorong-gorong yang masih bisa ditembus oleh air dan agak sedikit bisa menyaring air tetapi ini juga tidak efektif karena pada saat open per model menimbulkan piping. Penelitian ini masih belum sempurna, masih perlu dilakukan pengembangan agar bisa diterapkan.

Abstract

Honda Pondok Pinang, which is located on Jl. Ciputat Raya No.80 Pondok Pinang, South Jakarta, in customer service using an android application called HONDA e-Care. HONDA e-Care is very helpful in making it easier for consumers to access Honda service services. With the Honda e-Care application, customers online carry out ordering services, traffic notification of periodic maintenance schedules, and look on digital to find dealers with the closest distance from the location. But consumers often also get security such as when making an order service but ordering service that is not showing up. Research on the quality of the Honda e-Care application has yet to be carried out. This study aims to measure the usability of the HONDA e-Care android application and provide suggestions for developing the HONDA e-Care application in the future. Based on the gap analysis, it was found that in general the use of the HONDA e-Care android application on the Honda Pondok Pinang was not satisfied with the quality of the current applications. With the IPA analysis, the priority scale for improving the quality of the HONDA e-Care android application is mapped where quadrant I is the priority scale based on the user's perspective, namely: The HONDA e-Care android application is easy to operate; The search facility on the HONDA e-Care android application is functioning properly; The HONDA e-Care android application is easy to download; Image symbols on the HONDA e-Care android application easy implementation; and Access product information on the HONDA e-Care android application is easy to obtain. Managers must increase the four items in order to meet user expectations.

Abstract

Tanah lempung lunak adalah jenis tanah lempung yang memiliki nilai CBR rendah dan swelling yang besar, selain itu bahan organik dalam tanah lempung tersebut harus menjadi bahan pertimbangan, karena jika melewati batas maksimum akan mereduksi kekuatan dan stabilitas dari proses stabilisasinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan abu vulkanik dan semen Portland terhadap kekuatan dan stabilitas tanah lempung organik artifisial serta tebal perkerasan rencana yang digunakan. Tahap perlakuan awal, tanah lempung lunak dicampur dengan 3 variasi kadar abu vulkanik, kemudian diperam selama 3 hari. Tahap perlakuan akhir, tanah hasil campuran ditambahkan 5% semen Portland, lalu kembali diperam selama 3 hari. Pengujian sifat fisis meliputi  spesifik gravity, batas cair, batas plastis. Specific gravity meningkat dari 2,58 menjadi 2,65, batas cair menurun dari 71,48% menjadi 43,45%, batas plastis meningkat dari 28,96% menjadi 34,08%, indeks plastisitas menurun dari 42,52% menjadi 9,37%. Pengujian sifat mekanis meliputi pemadatan, CBR, dan pengujian swelling. OMC mengalami penurunan dari 33,696% menjadi 29,586%,  MDD mengalami peningkatan dari 1,319% menjadi 1,351%, CBR mengalami peningkatan dari 2,87% menjadi 9,77%, dan swelling mengalami penurunan dari 2,36% menjadi 0,45%, serta tebal perkerasan rencana berkurang dari 15 cm menjadi 8 cm untuk campuran tanah lempung organik dengan 15% abu vulkanik dan 5% semen.

Customers can book services at Honda dealers online, get notifications of periodic maintenance schedules, and search for the nearest dealer from a location that can be seen on a digital map by first accessing the Honda e-Care application. But consumers often also face problems, such as when booking a service, but the ongoing booking service does not appear. Until now, no one has conducted research on the quality of the Honda e-Care application. This study aims to measure the extent of the usability of the HONDA e-Care android application and provide suggestions for developing the HONDA e-Care application in the future. Based on the gap analysis, it was found that in general the HONDA e-Care android application on the Honda Pondok Pinang was not satisfied with the quality of the current applications. Based on the IPA analysis, the priority scale for improving the quality of the HONDA e-Care android application can be mapped where quadrant I is the highest priority scale according to the user's perspective, namely: [2], [5], [7], [8] and [9]. These four items must be upgraded immediately by the manager to meet user expectations.

Abstract

Increasing the welfare of the Indonesian people, especially Muslims, encourages them to carry out religious activities that require financial readiness, namely the pilgrimage. The enthusiasm of Indonesian Muslims to register for Hajj is not comparable to the available quota, which results in a longer waiting time for Hajj departures. The registrants for prospective pilgrims have increased every year. There are 3,797,376 applicants who wish to carry out the haj pilgrimage until June 2018, while the annual quota provided for Indonesia is only 210,000 people. As a result, there has been an increase in the deposition of funds for the initial deposit of prospective pilgrims in the Ministry of Religion's accounts, until March 2018 it has collected as much as IDR 105,191,372,936,614. This study aims to assess whether the hajj funds are worth investing in toll road infrastructure projects. Starting from problem identification to calculating investment feasibility to cooperation agreements in managing Hajj funds with Islamic banks with the Musyarakah Mutanaqishah agreement scheme. to finance toll road infrastructure projects. The capital budgeting method is used to calculate investment feasibility, so it can be seen that the NPV value is IDR 54,805,724,000,000 then the IRR value is 62%, BCR is 3.61, and the payback period is 12 years. With this assessment, it is worth investing in the hajj funds for the users of the Jakarta - Cikampek II Elevated toll road infrastructure project.

Abstract

DLP (Digital Light Process) 3D Printer Technology is a 3 dimensional printing machine made from resin with a lighting system using a light projector with a layer-by-layer printing process. In this research, the writer will make an object, which is one of the machining components, namely the gearbox casing. In this study the authors will analyze the effect of process parameters (exposure time, off time, and their interaction) on the dimensions of the printout and get the most optimal parameters to be applied to components or printing objects. In conducting testing, the measurement of the tester’s dimensions uses the Krisbow KW06-422 calipers. Then the measurement data is processed by the Anova method with the help of software design expert version 10. After the research process obtained the results that the most influential parameters are the interaction factor between exposure time parameters and off time parameters on the dimensions of the printed objects, and the most optimal combination of parameters is found in the exposure time parameters 10 second and off time 1 second with a level of precision of 95%.
