Abstract

Indonesia's potential solar panel renewable energy capacity is 207.8 GW, currently only 0.135 GW has been realized or 0.02% has only been achieved. The development is still very broad and far ahead. The best place for a PLTS (Solar Power Plant) location is in the dam area. Why? The dam has a very large area and is owned by the government. This paper investigates the comparison of the cost and time of implementing PLTS foundation construction at the location of the Dam Slope (Landed) and on the Surface of the Dam Water Body (Floating). The research was conducted based on a case study of the application of PLTS in the Jatibarang Dam. Where in 2017 the construction of PLTS has been realized at the location of the Dam Slope. The PLTS Floating model was developed with a design simulation based on real data at the same dam location. The cost and time indicators for both Landed and Floating foundation models are then calculated and compared. From the analysis results, in terms of costs, the application of the PLTS Floating foundation is 41% higher than the foundation on the slopes. But in time 31% faster than the Slope foundation. By knowing the cost and time comparison between the two PLTS laying models, the aim is to design a PLTS development strategy for the Dam area based on the most optimal considerations.

Abstract

The Belanti II Swamp Irrigation Area in Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan, spans 3,275 Ha. Water management activities, necessitated for sustained irrigation, incur the Water Resources Management Service Fee (BJPSDA), calculated on cost recovery principles. This study aims to (1) Determine the BJPSDA value by considering the economic benefit factor, (2) Assess farmers' Ability To Pay (ATP) and Willingness To Pay (WTP) for BJPSDA, and (3) Evaluate the Belanti II swamp irrigation network and optimization efforts. The BJPSDA in Belanti II is Rp5,625,504,000, with agricultural benefits contributing Rp51,468,721,052.40 (51.86% of NME). The cost is Rp570,151.69/Ha or Rp101/m3. Farmer ATP and WTP for BJPSDA are Rp54/m3. The irrigation system lacks proper water flow regulation structures, but optimization efforts include channel normalization and water control structures. To enhance leaching ability, 500 m3/ha/day of fresh water is needed. Structures like weirs and flap gates regulate water supply during high and low tides, respectively. These initiatives aim to ensure consistent irrigation and sustainable water resource management in Belanti II.

Abstract

The high usage of rice in food products has led to a scarcity of national rice supply, which underpins this research. Talipuk is a seed from the water lily species Nymphae pubescens WILLD, abundantly available in the swamps of South Kalimantan. The addition of talipuk flour in vermicelli production is expected to reduce the reliance on rice flour. This study aims to investigate the influence of talipuk flour addition on the physical and chemical properties of vermicelli. The research adopts an experimental approach with a quantitative method, utilizing a completely randomized design by combining varying levels of rice flour and talipuk flour. Data analysis employs one-way ANOVA to determine significant differences among treatments. The results indicate that different treatments significantly affect the physical properties of vermicelli, including water absorption, integrity, and durability. Treatment variations influence chemical properties such as crude protein content and crude fiber but do not affect moisture content, ash content, and carbohydrate content.
