<![CDATA[This research aimed to find out the student's perception of learning English during the pandemic covid 19. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. In order to answer the research question, the researcher collected the data from 13 open-ended statements interviewed by students at SMP Negeri 2 Satap Dungaliyo. The researcher used data reduction, data display, and conclusion to analyze the data. And the result of this research is that English in the pandemic covid 19 has various student answers. There are advantages and also disadvantages to the implementation of online classes in the pandemic era. It depends on the students themselves; each of them has their own perception regarding learning English during the pandemic covid 19, and also their own experienced they faced in their environment. These statements were gained by the result of the research conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Satap Dungaliyo.The coronavirus outbreak that has hit this country poses a challenge for the community and educational institutions, so to anticipate the spread of the virus, the Ministry of Education has set the learning system to be carried out with an online system.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to find out the significant effect in using the PQRST Strategy on students' reading comprehension in procedure text at the ninth grade of SMPN 3 Kabila. The population of this research was all students of class IX SMPN 3 Kabila which only has one class with a number of students consisting of 24 students and the sample of this research was all students in class ninth totaling 24 students. The samples were determined using a saturated sampling technique. This research used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design one group pre-test and post-test. There are two variables in this research, the PQRST strategy as the independent variable and the students’ reading comprehension in procedure text as the dependent variable. Data collection techniques in this research used a test, namely multiple-choice tests. The results showed that the mean score of the pre-test was 11.75, and the mean score post-test was 19.38. In addition, the results of the hypothesis of this research found that tcount > ttable or 24.04 > 2.069 with the level of significance α = 0.05. It means that the hypothesis (H1) of this research is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PQRST strategy has a significant effect on students' reading comprehension in procedure texts at the ninth grade of SMPN 3 Kabila.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to find out the improvement of students’ vocabulary after using film encanto. The population of this research is the students in ten grade of SMAN 4 Gorontalo, and the sampel is 24 students in class X MIPA 4. This research used pre-experimental design with one group pre-test, treatment and post-test. The result of this research shows that the mean score of pre-test is 9,04 and the mean score of post-test is 12. Moreover, the result of hypothesis of this research found that tcount tlist or 6,040 2,074. It means that the hypothesis (H1) of this research is accepted, there is 40,49% score results resceived from the pre-test to the post-test. Therefore, it can be concluded that the utilizing the film Encanto increase Students’ Vocabulary. Keywords :Film Encanto, increasing students’ vocabulary]]>

<![CDATA[The Kabela is one of traditional dances of Bolaang Mongondow, which reflects the cultural values of North Sulawesi. Behind the ephemeral form and nature, it is necessary to investigate more deeply the rules and essential values, so that the understanding of the meaning of this dance is completely intact for the Gorontalonese as well as the Bolaang Mongondownese. This research is a starting point for mapping dance styles in eastern Indonesia, through strengthening local cultural values in northern Sulawesi in the construction of contemporary choreographic concepts in Gorontalo. The research integrates the ethnographic techniques with methodical experiments in learning process of a non-traditional choreography for the department of Pendidikan Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Ethnographic techniques place field research simultaneously with literature studies, to create a qualitative-phenomenological analysis process that considers emic and ethical data. The choreography process adapts Hawkins' exploration model as a guide for realizing experimental works, which also creates an intersubjective understanding discourse process on the Kabela. The results show the Kabela’s presence as symbols of a noble tradition of the Bolaang Mongondownese as well as its structure. The choreographic concepts then intensify the meaning in the production of imaginative and sensory effects, so that the appreciation towards the dance is active and dynamic. This also shows that, it is by understanding others, that the appreciation of one's own is deepened.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to reveal how positive character is revealed in children’s poems. This is based on the phenomenon that mostly it is the adults that teach positive character to children by writing poems for children. We seldom find analysis that reveals how children perceive the positive character and express it in their poems. For this aim, the writers analyzed three poems that consist of two Indonesian poems and one English poem. The poems were analyzed in two steps, i.e., by skimming and intensive reading. Skimming is to get the general impression and intensive reading is to have an intensive understanding of the poems by analyzing the keywords, key phrases, and key sentences of the poems. The result of the analysis shows that Indonesian poems put a positive character on honoring heroes. English poem puts a positive on praying and feeling empathy for those who are suffering and criminals. This indicates that children have their own perception of positive characters as reflected in their poems.]]>

<![CDATA[Woman’s language is utilized to communicate and express her ideas. Woman’s language is treated different from man. It is based on how culture perceives biological sex differences.This research conducted because of the writer's interest in the main character, firstly because the novels depicts the gender injustice that befell the female character. The second reason, because this novel depicts woman who has a fighting spirit to fight for her rights, dare to argue and then the woman character rebels against what is experienced. Feminism is a movement and ideology dedicated to achieving women's rights in order to build a world that is more than just social equality for women (Humm: 406). Feminism's ideology fights for women's rights to higher education and employment in male-dominated fields. They are also entitled to maternity leave and fair pay at work. Radical Feminism, Liberal Feminism, Marxist Feminism, Socialist Feminism, and Post- feminism are examples of feminist movements. This study is analyzing Woman’s language character of the latest 18’s novels, about how race and gender discrimination reflected by using feminist approach. The objective of the study is to analyze the novels based on its structural elements and analyze the text based on feminist approach. The data source are literary data. Those are the primary data is taken from the Novels itself and the secondary data sources are other in formations that are relevant to the subject matter. The method of the data collection is library research. The techniques of data analysis is descriptive analysis.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is an experimental research that aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model on biology learning outcomes of SMA N 1 Limboto Barat, Gorontalo on ecosystem material with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population in this study consisted of three classes, namely class X MIPA 1 with a total of 20 students and X MIPA 19 with a total of 30 students as an experimental class and class X IPS 1 with a total of 14 students as a control class. The research variable consists of the independent variable, namely the use of Number Head Together (NHT), while the dependent variable is student learning outcomes. Data collection was carried out through pre-test and post-test. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the average post-test learning outcomes for students in class X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 2 as an experimental class taught using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model, obtained an average result of 74.92, while the results the average learning obtained by students of class X IPS 1 as a control class taught using the conventional model is 51.12. Furthermore, the control class experienced an increase in student graduation by 21%, while the experimental class experienced an increase in student graduation by 64%, which means that the value of student learning outcomes increased more than threefold with the treatment of using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model, especially in the experimental class.]]>

<![CDATA[One way to improve color quality is by feed nutrition engineering. This study aimed to determine the effect of the level of artificial feeding made from moringa (Moringa olefera) leaf flour on the color brightnees level of koi crap. The material used was moringa leaf flour, wich contains protein and caratenoids that can increase fishs color brightnees and growth. The study employed an experimental method using a completely randomized design with four treartments and three replications. Furthermore, the treatments consisted of treatments A (5%); treatment B (10%); treatment C (15%); and treatment D (20%). The stocking density was ten fish/aquarium, and the feeding frequency was twice daily. The findings indicated that the provision of moringa leaf flour as the main igredient of artificial feed had a significant effect (p< 0.05) on color improvement and a highly significant effect (p<0.01) on weight gain. Moreover, the result signified that the highest increase in color was in treatment C from 11.69 to 16.95, the highest increase in absolute length growht was in treatment C with a value of 1.35 cm, and the highest increase in absolute weight gain was in treatment C manely 2,29 gr.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar personal selling dan sales promotion berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian produk IKM BMS. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di IKM BMS di Kelurahan Bulotadaa Barat, Kecamatan Sipatana, Kota Gorontalo pada bulan Maret hingga April 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, secara simultan, personal selling dan sales promotion berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikn terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen pada produk IKM BMS. Secara parsial, variabel personal selling berpengaruh secara positif dan siginifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, kemudian variabel sales promotion berpengaruh secara positif juga dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada produk IKM BMS. Variabel personal selling merupakan variabel yang paling dominan mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen pada produk IKM BMS. Hal tersebut karena kemampuan tenaga penjual dalam memberikan informasi dan persuasi kepada konsumen serta pemberian insentif dengan berbagai macam pilihan alat seperti discount dan cashback sangatlah mempengaruhi konsumen dalam melakukan keputusan pembelian.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aimed to determine the optimal concentration of wuluh star fruit extract in feed as an effort to prevent the growth of Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria in common carp. The study was conducted from may to june 2023. The treatments in this study consisted of different levels of wuluh star fruit extract in the feed, comprising five (5) levels:A = 0ml wuluh star fruit extract per kg of feed + injection of Aeromonas hydrophila (positive control = PC), B = 0ml wuluh star fruit extract per kg of feed ( nrgative control – NC), C = 10ml wuluh star fruit extract per kg of feed + injection of Aeromonas hydrophila, D = 15ml wuluh star fruit extract per kg of feed + injection of Aeromonas hydrophila, and E = 20ml wuluh star fruit extract per kg of feed + injection of Aeromonas hydrophila. Each treatment had three (3) replications. The common carp used was 10 cm in size, collected from a fish farm. The fish were kept in aquariums with a stocking density of 5 fish per aquarium. Prior to treatment, the fish were acclimated to the environment for 1 week. During acclimation, the fish were fed commercial pelletswith a protein content of 36% twice a day. ANOVA analysis results showed that the addition of wuluh star fruit extract significantly influenced the growth rete and survival rate of common carp, aiding in the recovery of common carp infected with Aeromonas hydrophila BACTERIA AND PREVENTING the growth of the bacteria. The optimal concentration of wuluh star fruit extract was 15ml per kg of feed to prevent the growth of Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria.]]>
