Abstract

Abstract

Businesses face intense competition and fluctuating consumer preferences, driven by social media, global events, and technological innovations. This study systematically reviews the literature (2019–2024) to analyze the role of big data and artificial intelligence (AI) in identifying market trends, exploring their potential, challenges, and implementation strategies. Using the systematic literature review method, peer-reviewed articles were obtained from Scopus, ScienceDirect, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar. Keywords used include big data, AI, market trends, and consumer behavior. A qualitative-descriptive analysis was employed to synthesize findings related to technology applications, effectiveness, and barriers. The results confirm that AI algorithms (such as machine/deep learning) significantly improve the accuracy of trend detection by processing real-time data from social media, search engines, and e-commerce. Big data enables more detailed consumer segmentation and personalized marketing, while AI-based tools enhance demand forecasting and campaign responsiveness. MSMEs are increasingly adopting affordable AI platforms for data-driven decision making. Key challenges include data privacy risks, infrastructure gaps, and workforce skill shortages. The integration of big data and AI has proven transformative for market analysis, but requires ethical regulation, digital literacy initiatives, and inclusive infrastructure to ensure sustainable impact.

Abstract

Abstract

Postoperative pain is a complex physiological response resulting from tissue trauma and inflammation, which can increase the risk of postoperative complications and prolong hospitalization. Inadequate pain management is associated with increased neuroendocrine responses, impaired ventilation, and impaired early mobilization. The use of opioids as a single therapy, although effective, often causes side effects that interfere with patient recovery, such as nausea, vomiting, sedation, and postoperative ileus. Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols were developed to accelerate recovery, reduce complications, and improve healthcare efficiency. One key component of ERAS is postoperative pain management based on the principle of opioid-sparing, with multimodal analgesia as the primary approach. Multimodal analgesia combines various analgesic agents and techniques with different mechanisms of action to simultaneously reduce pain. This approach has been shown to reduce pain intensity, opioid consumption, accelerate mobilization, and shorten hospitalization. This article aims to examine the role and implementation of multimodal analgesia within the ERAS framework based on the latest scientific literature (2020–2024). Multimodal analgesia is recommended as a standard of modern anesthesiology practice to improve patient postoperative recovery.

Abstract

The need for innovation in the learning process, education management, and adaptation to digitalization highlights the importance of understanding the factors that influence innovative work behavior among teachers, lecturers, and educational staff. This study follows the PRISMA protocol through the stages of identification, screening, feasibility assessment, and final selection. Articles were collected from the Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, SINTA, and DOAJ databases using structured keywords and inclusion criteria that included empirical research, a focus on IWB in the context of education, full-text availability, and publication between 2018 and 2024. Of the 427 initial articles, only 42 studies met the final criteria and were analyzed thematically. The results of the study show a significant increase in IWB research in the education sector with a predominance of quantitative approaches, particularly SEM-PLS. The main factors that play a role as antecedents of innovative work behavior include transformational leadership, psychological empowerment, knowledge sharing, work engagement, and creative self-efficacy. Various mediating variables such as knowledge sharing, work engagement, thriving, and creative self-efficacy were also found to be consistent, while moderating variables have rarely been studied. In addition, IWB has been proven to contribute positively to teacher performance, learning innovation, and organizational effectiveness. This study concludes that although research on innovative work behavior shows positive developments, it is necessary to expand the context, methodological diversity, and integration of digital variables and the climate of innovation in future research.

Abstract

Hypertensive emergency is a critical condition that requires prompt, accurate, and professionally documented nursing care through standardized nursing processes. One of the challenges in the Emergency Department of Ar Rasyid Hospital Palembang is the suboptimal implementation of 3S-based nursing documentation (SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI) for patients with hypertensive emergencies. This community service activity aimed to enhance nurses’ professionalism through the implementation of socialization on 3S nursing documentation in emergency nursing care. The methods included an initial survey, interviews, observations, and the administration of pre-test and post-test, followed by socialization sessions and simulation of 3S documentation. The participants consisted of head nurses, team leaders, and staff nurses in the emergency department. The evaluation results demonstrated a significant improvement in nurses’ knowledge and understanding after the intervention, as reflected by higher post-test scores compared to pre-test scores. Furthermore, the implementation of 3S documentation became more consistent in emergency nursing records, both manually and through electronic medical records. This activity confirms that socialization and simulation of 3S documentation are effective strategies to improve the quality and professionalism of emergency nursing care for hypertensive emergency patients in hospital emergency departments.
