Tujuan dari Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya adalah untuk mendorong penyebaran yang lebih luas hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah sistematis di bidang manajemen dan bisnis. Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya dimaksudkan untuk menjadi jurnal penerbitan artikel hasil penelitian manajemen baik artikel penelitian maupun artikel konseptual (non penelitian). Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya mengundang artikel-artikel hasil penelitian di bidang : Manajemen Pemasaran, Manajemen Keuangan, Manajemen Strategis, Manajemen Pendidikan, Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia, Manajemen Operasional, Manajemen Kesehatan, e-Business Manajemen Kewirausahaan. Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya menerima artikel-artikel yang sesuai dengan subjek penelitian manajemen dan metodologi penelitian yang sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan untuk dipublikasikan dalam jurnal ini. Yang utama, namun tidak eksklusif, adalah akademisi, mahasiswa program pascasarjana, praktisi dan pihak-pihak lain yang tertarik dengan penelitian manajemen. Kriteria utama untuk publikasi di Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra adalah pentingnya kontribusi sebuah artikel terhadap kekayaan literatur di bidang manajemen, ketelitian analisis dan penyajian artikel. Keputusan penerimaan artikel didasarkan pada proses review yang independen dengan evaluasi konstruktif dan cepat terhadap artikel yang diajukan oleh peneliti atau author. Frekuensi Publikasi Jurnal Manajerial Bisnis Program Pascasarjana Universitas Wijaya Putra Surabaya terbit dengan setiap tahun satu volume yang terdiri dari tiga kali terbitan, yakni setiap April, Agustus, dan Desember. Setiap terbitan mempublikasikan 7 artikel.

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the significant influence of financial performance, capital structure and company size on company value through the dividend policy of the Tbk financial services industry for the period 2020 - 2022. This research uses an explanatory research type of research using a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling method, a sample of 21 financial sector service industries was obtained from a total population of 51 financial sector service industries. The type of data in this research is secondary data. Data obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the form of annual financial reports from the financial sector services industry for the period 2020 - 2022. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics with the SmartPLS tool. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that financial performance, company size and dividend policy have a positive and significant influence on company value, capital structure has no effect on company value. Financial performance, capital structure and company size have a positive influence on dividend policy. Financial performance, capital structure and company size have a positive influence on company value through dividend policy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment and communication on lecturer performance with motivation as a moderating variable. The object of this research is all lecturers at the University of Mayjend Sungkono Mojokerto. The sample in this study used total sampling, namely all lecturers at the University of Mayjend Sungkono Mojokerto. This study uses primary data by distributing questionnaires directly to 60 respondents. This study uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach using the SmartPLS Version 3.0 application. The results showed that the work environment and communication had a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance, the work environment and communication had a positive and significant effect on motivation but motivation had no effect on lecturer performance. The results of the indirect effect show results if motivation mediates the influence of the work environment and communication on lecturer performance.

Abstract

Financial performance is an analysis used to see how far the company has implemented good and healthy financial regulations. To determine the condition of good and healthy financial performance is to use financial ratio analysis, financial ratio analysis is an activity to analyze financial reports to assess financial performance based on a certain period. This study aims to describe the financial performance, liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, profitability ratios and activity ratios as well as to measure the company's financial performance in terms of liquidity ratios, to measure the company's financial performance from solvency ratios, to measure the company's financial performance from profitability ratios and to measure company's financial performance from activity ratios as well as to measure the company's financial performance using discriminant analysis. Data analysis was performed using discriminant analysis techniques using the Altman Z-Score method. In this study, the data collection technique was using documentation techniques, the documentation was carried out by collecting all secondary data obtained from the official website of the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The results of the research show that there are 18 companies that have good or healthy financial performance and there is 1 company whose financial performance is in the grey area.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect ROA, ROE and EPS on banking company value with company financial performance as an intervening variable. The unit of analysis in this study is a banking stocks listed on the LQ45 index in 2018-2022 as many as 5 companies. Samples were taken using purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out using the SmartPLS version 3.0 program and data collection through secondary data. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that ROA significantly has a positive effect on financial performance. ROA has a negative effect on firm value. ROE has a positive effect on financial performance. ROE significantly has a negative effect on firm value EPS has a negative effect on financial performance. EPS significantly has a negative effect on firm value. Financial performance significantly has a positive effect on firm value. Financial performance mediates the effect of ROA on firm value positively and significantly. Financial performance mediates the effect of ROE on firm value positively. Financial performance mediates the effect of EPS on firm value negatively.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the project to strengthen Pancasila student profile of local wisdom at SMP Gema 45 Surabaya. The focuses of this research are: project implementation, project supporting factors, project inhibiting factors, and solutions to project inhibiting factors. This research is a descriptive qualitativeresearch. The results of this study describe that the implementation of the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile of local wisdom at SMP Gema 45 Surabaya was carried out through a process of planning, managing and reporting project results. Project planning is carried out through the stages of: forming a project facilitator team, identifying the stages of education unit readiness in carrying out the project, determining project dimensions and themes, designing project time allocations, compiling project modules, determining project learning objectives, and developing topics, activity flow, and project assessment. Management of the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile of local wisdom is carried out by initiating project activities, optimizing project implementation, closing a series of project activities, and optimizing partner involvement. The report on the results of the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile of local wisdom is carried out by collecting and processing the results of the assessment, and compiling a project report card.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of inflation, exchange rates and interest rates on stock returns with profitability as the intervening variable. This research uses quantitative methods. Sample data collection used a saturated or census sampling method and obtained 55 financial sector companies for the 2018-2022 reporting period. The research results obtained are that inflation has no significant effect on profitability, exchange rate has no significant effect on profitability. Interest rates have no significant effect on profitability. Inflation has a significant effect on stock returns, exchange rate has no significant effect on stock returns, interest rates have no significant effect on stock returns, inflation has no significant effect on stock returns through profitability as an intervening variable, exchange rate has no significant effect on stock returns through profitability as an intervening variable, interest rates have no significant effect on stock returns through profitability as an intervening variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leverage and profitability on tax avoidance through corporate social responsibility. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population used in this study are goods and consumption companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2021. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange database and consumer and goods company websites. Methods of data collection using documentation that is based on the company's financial statements. The data analysis technique of this research uses SEM-PLS. The results of this study indicate that leverage and profitability have no effect on corporate social responsibility. Meanwhile, leverage and CSR have no effect on tax evasion. Profitability affects tax avoidance. Meanwhile, CSR is not able to mediate the effect of leverage and profitability on tax evasion.

Abstract

This study aims to identify differences in customer perceptions of push and pull factors in switching from conventional banking services to digital banking at Bank Mandiri Tanjung Perak Branch in Surabaya. The research methodology involves questionnaires for quantitative data collection and documentation to support the data. Analysis is conducted using the Push Pull Mooring (PPM) theory to evaluate the influence of Service Quality, Perceived Ease of Use, and Lifestyle on customers' Switching Intention. The findings indicate that for customers with less than 5 years of transaction experience, service quality and ease of use of digital services influence their intention to switch. For customers with more than 5 years of experience, service quality and ease of use have different impacts on switching intention. The t-test results show that switching intention is not significantly influenced by the duration of use (P value 0.93), but lifestyle significantly affects preference for digital services (P value 0.003). Perceived ease of use does not show a significant difference between the two groups (P value 0.716), while service quality shows a significant difference (P value 0.014). The application of these research findings to other Mandiri branches needs to consider demographics, strategy adaptation, and continuous evaluation. Bank Mandiri can optimize its services by focusing on customer retention, lifestyle, ease of user experience, and improving service quality. Understanding the interaction effects between these variables helps Bank Mandiri adapt holistic and customer-oriented strategies. Thus, Bank Mandiri can enhance its competitiveness in an increasingly dynamic market.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and analyze the influence of product quality, customer trust on purchasing decisions through customer satisfaction at PT. Surya Gemilang Motor, West Surabaya. Sampling method using Purposive Sampling. The scope of this research is only on variables related to product quality, customer trust which directly or indirectly influence purchasing decisions through customer satisfaction. The approach of this research is a quantitative approach method. The data analysis technique for this research uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the SmartPLS 4.0 application program which includes the design process of the Inner Structural Model, Outer Structural Model and Hypothesis Testing (Resampling Bootstrapping). The research results found that there was no direct effect of product quality on customer satisfaction at PT. Surya Gemilang Motor Surabaya. There is a direct influence of Customer Trust on Customer Satisfaction at PT. Surya Gemilang Motor, West Surabaya. There is a direct effect of product quality on purchasing decisions at PT. Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of brand image and price on consumer satisfaction at Hari - Hari Dumai City Riau Supermarket through intervening variables in purchasing decisions. This research uses a quantitative method with an explanatory research type. The sample in this study was taken as many as 100 people using accidental sampling technique. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS) using the SmartPLS version 3 application to test the relationship between variables. The research results show that brand image has an insignificant positive influence on Aqua purchasing decisions at the Hari - Hari Dumai City Riau Supermarket. Price and brand image have significant positive influence on Aqua purchasing decisions at the Hari - Hari Dumai City Riau Supermarket. Price does not have a significant effect on Aqua consumer satisfaction at Hari - Hari Dumai City Riau Supermarket. Purchasing decisions have a significant effect on Aqua consumer satisfaction at Hari - Hari Dumai City Riau Supermarket. Brand image has an insignificant indirect effect on Aqua consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions at the Hari - Hari Dumai City Riau Supermarket. Price has an indirect effect on Aqua consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions at the Hari - Hari Dumai City Riau Supermarket.
