Abstract

Preeclampsia is a disease of pregnancy. Preeclampsia is the presence of hypertension accompanied by edema due to pregnancy and the most important sign is the presence of proteinuria. Proteinuria occurs more slowly in early pregnancy until it finally appears at the end of the pregnancy trimester. Urine Protein Examination in Trimester III Pregnant Women at RSIA Artha Mahinrus, This study aims to determine the results of urine protein in third trimester pregnant women at RSIA Artha Mahinrus Medan Perjuangan based on age and urine protein results. This research uses descriptive method. The study sample was 38 third trimester pregnant women who were taken using the slovin formula with random sampling technique. Examination of proteinuria using the dipstick method which is read with a Dirui H-100 urine analyzer. The results showed as many as 61% positive urine protein, and 39% negative urine protein in third trimester pregnant women. It is recommended for medical staff to encourage pregnant women to do laboratory tests.

Abstract

This study aims to improve critical thinking skills and chemistry learning outcomes through the Discovery Learning model. This research was conducted at the Health Analyst Study Program of YRSU Dr. Rusdi Health Polytechnic. The subjects amounted to 29 students. This type of research is a class action research consisting of planning, action implementation, observation and reflection using the Discovery Learning learning model. Tests were used to measure students' initial abilities and learning outcomes, and observation sheets were used to measure students' critical thinking skills. Learning using the Discovery Learning model proved effective in improving student learning outcomes and critical thinking skills. The success of the application in improving student learning outcomes is indicated by changes in the process of cycle I, the increase in class average scores after the action from the pretest of 85.70% rose to 89.70% at the time of the posttest. The increase in the number of students who reached the KKM score was 17.24%. In cycle II, success was indicated by an increase in the class average score after the action from the pretest of 62.1% to 79.3% at the time of the posttest. The increase in the number of students who reached the KKM score was 6.8%. Based on the analysis of students' critical thinking skills, the successful application in improving students' critical thinking skills is still categorized as Very Good.

Abstract

Sensitivity Test of Red Betel Leaf Pressed Water Against the Growth of Shigelladysenteriae Bacteria. The purpose of this study was to determine whether red betel leaf juice can inhibit or kill the growth of Shigella dysenteriae bacteria. Ujidaya antibacterial inhibition by using the Kirby bauerd agar diffusion method is characterized by the diameter of the inhibition zone on the media and calculated using a ruler in millimeters. The research was conducted in April 2024 at the Dr. Rusdi Health Polytechnic Laboratory. Samples in the form of red betel leaf juice made in several concentrations, namely 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100%. Made on two different media, namely Mueller Hinton Agar media and Nutrient Agar media. The results showed that all concentrations of red betel leaf juice in two different media could not kill Shigella dysenteriae bacteria, this was evidenced by the absence of a clear zone around the disc paper with a diameter of 19 mm.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengenalan dan pelatihan membuat game edukasi kepada siswa SMK PGRI Kedondong jurusan multimedia. Ketrampilan menggunakan teknologi merupakan salah satu luaran wajib bagi siswa SMK jurusan multimedia, untuk dapat menguasai teknologi dalam membuat game tidak cukup hanya di dapat dari pelajaran di dalam kelas, oleh karena itu perlu diberikan kegiatan penunjang lain seperti pelatihan untuk menambah pengetahuan dan pengalaman siswa dalam membuat game edukasi. Kegiatan PKM ini memberikan pelatihan langsung kepada siswa jurusan multimedia dalam membuat game edukasi. Pembuatan game edukasi menggunakan quickappninja.com. Berdasarkan hasil kuisioner yang diberikan kepada siswa dan hasil kerja siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan dapat meningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam membuat game edukasi, hal tersebut terlihat dari hasil kuisioner tentang pemahaman siswa terkait game edukasi dan hasil kerja siswa yang awalnya tidak mampu membuat game edukasi menjadi siswa yang mampu membuat game edukasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to differentiate exhaust emissions (CO and HC) of a motorcycle fueled by a mixture of firstx and ethanol (95-5%) with pertalie fuel. The method used is the expriment method, namely by conducting direct experiments. The materials and tools used are a supra x 125 motorcycle, gas analyzer, firstx, ethanol, pertalite. The results of the study were obtained for a mixture of firstx and ethanol (95-5%) for a rotation of 1000 rpm, the CO price was 0.67%, and the HC price was 203 ppm, for a rotation of 2000 rpm the CO price was 0.47%, and the HC price was 188.3 ppm, for a rotation of 3000 rpm the CO price was 0.27%, and the HC price was 87.6 ppm. In conclusion, the higher the rotation, the greater the HC of both the firstx and ethanol mixture and the premium price is smaller, while for CO, if the rotation is greater, the percentage is smaller for the firstx and ethanol mixture, and the premium price is greater.

Abstract

This article helps High School students become ready for the abilities they’ll need in the future by highlighting the value of public speaking. In order for Senior High School students to succeed in both their personal and professional lives, the essay highlights the significance of public speaking. To that end, this article suggests a community service program that offers training in public speaking, lectures on the subject, and resources for boosting self-confidence. Qualitative methodologies and multiple Google Form questionnaires were used to evaluate the efficacy of this program. Feedback received from SMA YP UNILA students showed enthusiasm and interest in developing their public speaking skills. The results showed a positive impact in showing self-confidence through the ability to communicate well. Through this article, it can be concluded that by developing public speaking skills among high school students, it can prepare them to face the future and become individuals who are better prepared to face the advancement of the era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the exhaust emissions of HC (ppm) and CO (%), through variations in nozzle pressure and rotation variations. research samples using engine stand 2765 CC, diesel fuel. through variations in rotation 1500 rpm, 2500 rpm, 3500 rpm and nozzle pressure 160 kg/cm2, 180 kg/cm2, and 190 kg/cm2 measured exhaust emissions on the engine smoke tester. The results concluded that the variation of nozzle pressure and rotation has an effect on exhaust emissions, the lowest HC (ppm) exhaust emission value at 160 kg/cm2 nozzle pressure at 1500 rpm, while the lowest CO (%) exhaust emission value occurred at 180 kg/cm2 nozzle pressure at 3500 rpm.

Abstract

Sekolah Menegah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan jenjang Pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan lulusan yang siap kerja, oleh karena itu kurikulum pada jenjang SMK lebih kepada praktik. Selain itu pelatihan ketrampilan merupakan hal yang penting di jenjang kejuruan agar lebih terampil dalam mengaplikasikan teori yang di dapat di sekolah. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk sekolah binaan ini yaitu memberikan pengenalan dan pelatihan menggunakan appsheet dalam membuat aplikasi keuangan, dengan harapan akan menambah pengalaman dan pengetahuan, serta keterampilan siswa SMK dalam menunjang kompetensi pencatatan transaksi keuangan yang dimiliki siswa dan kedepannya jika siswa telah masuk pada dunia kerja

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide free medical examination and treatment services to the community in Aek Kuo District to maintain their health. The solution to dealing with these problems is to conduct free examinations and treatment through the Community Service program. The target in the implementation of this community service is the community in the Aek Kuo District. The impact of this activity is to increase public awareness and knowledge in an effort to maintain their health. We limit the service capacity of our community service activities to 150 participants, which will be distributed evenly. During the examination, 29 people were found to have high blood pressure, 2 people had high blood sugar levels, and 99 people had uric acid levels exceeding normal limits. Overall, the community service activities went well and the most common health problem in the elderly is gout. So it is hoped that through this community service program, awareness about health, especially for the elderly, can be increased in order to achieve an optimal level of health.

Abstract

Lumbar spondylosis is low back pain caused by degeneration of the disc, facet joint in the lumbar, resulting in an emphasis on the intervertebral foramen which will cause osteophytes where this causes irritation and will cause pain. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the effect of Transcutaneus Electrical NerveStimulation and William Flexion Exercise with Transcutaneus Electrical NerveStimulation and Core Stability in reducing pain in patients with Lumbar Spondylosis. Randomized two group pre-test post-test design, with the first group of 10 patients with the intervention of Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation and William Flexion Exercise and the second group of 10 people with the intervention of Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation and Core Stability conducted for 6 weeks with Visual AnaloqueScale measuring instruments. Treatment group I with Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation and William Flexion Exercise is p=0.004 (p0.05) which means there is an effect of treatment in reducing pain, as well as treatment group II with Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation and Core Stability is p=0.004 (p0.05) which means there is an effect of treatment in reducing pain. While the comparison between the first treatment and the second treatment is p=0.014 (p0.05) which means there is a difference in the effect of Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation and William Flexion Exercise with Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation and Core Stability in reducing pain in patients with Lumbar Spondylosis. Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation and William Flexion Exercise are better than Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation and Core Stability to reduce pain in patients with Lumbar Spondylosis.
