Abstract

Social rehabilitation of uninhabitable house is a construction program that needs community participation. It is conducted by social services in Surabaya and Poor family development unit. The study aims to describe and analyse institution coordination in the implementation of construction program for uninhabitable house. The theoretical framework uses coordination theory in Inu Kencana (2011) i.e. arrangement, synchronization, common interest, and common goals. This is a qualitative descriptive method and population sampling techniques are applied through observation, interview, and documentation. The results indicate that the indicators of arrangement, synchronization, and common goals are well applied in the implementation of social rehabilitation of uninhabitable house program in North Perak. Whereas, the indicator of common interest is not well applied. For this reason, the program should be evaluated regarding the disbursement of funds in the implementation of social rehabilitation of uninhabitable house.

Abstract

Sukodono district is one of the sub-districts in Sidoarjo Regency that has first tried to become a pioneer of internet-based service providers through service innovations File Mlaku dheWe (BMW). The fact shows that the quality of application services is such an important issue given the technical aspects of its implementation. This study aims to analyze the quality of administrative services and the factors that influence the quality of administrative services based on E-Government, especially in the BMW type B application service in Sukodono District. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The population of this study took 21 respondents. This analysis uses the e-GovQual dimensional approach. The analysis technique of this research uses the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method and data processing techniques. The results show (1) The analysis conducted by the researcher using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) shows that of the 35 sub-indicators studied, the quadrant A variable consists of 11 sub-indicators, quadrant B consists of 7 sub-indicators, quadrant C consists of 9 sub-indicator, and quadrant D consists of 8 sub indicators. (2) The results of the analysis of the quality of administrative services based on E-Government on the Mlakau dheWe file application service type B in Sukodono District, Sidoarjo Regency are well implemented.

Abstract

Poverty almost happens in all regions. Applying community empowerment is one of the solutions to increase the economy. As an alteration, the region will be a sample for people to change the economy and a new industry will be established. People of Karang Dayu Village is an agrarian that have problem of flood and they work as fishery processors and marketers. To resolve economy problems which happened at POHLAKSAR in Karang Dayu Village in 2009, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries had launched National Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of Independent community Empowerment program (PNPM-MKP). The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze how to apply social economy of community program and the alteration of social community caused by Direct Community Assistance (BLM) Development of Rural Mina Business (PUMP) Fishery Program. This research uses descriptive quality method which referring to how the procces of applying the program and how the alteration of POKLAHSAR social community. Data collection technique uses primary data through interview. and secondary data from online media that discuss about community empowerment. The result shows the social alteration in community who receives the support from BLM PUMP Fishery Program that have positive or negative economy influences.

Abstract

This is a financial accounting study using the application of MYOB accounting in Yudi Motor micro business. The study aims to produce quality financial report according to the accounting principles. It uses descriptive qualitative method regarding the application of MYOB accounting through condensation data, presentation, conclusion, and verification. There are two informants in the analysis from the company owner and the financial staff. The results indicate that the informants have some difficulties in understanding accounting and applying MYOB accounting. Furthermore, the accounting cycle starts from general journal, ledger, and it produces financial report consisting of trial balance report, balance report, income statements and cash flow report. The finding concludes that two informants haven’t understood MYOB accounting manually and automatically. For this reason, the researcher educates them in compiling theoretical and practical accounting manually and automatically. As the result, two informants are able to understand the application well after the second assistance. Moreover, the study suggests the use of MYOB accounting application to process the financial data effectively and efficiently, and to produce quality financial report according to the accounting principles.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the variables related to the research title, analysis, and the conclusion to be relevant with the research title. For the research method, the writer uses literature study. Thus, the findings are obtained through the analysis of previous research. Furthermore, the results indicate a positive effect between self esteem toward the employee performance (service company); and self efficacy toward the employee performance (service company). As the result, there is a significant positive effect between job satisfaction on the employee performance (service company).

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the quality of public service in the population administration of electronic identity card and the family card in Wringinanom district office, Gresik. Public service is the effort of institution in providing assistance for community to achieve certain goals according to the community needs. In this case, service quality is often used to know how institution performance provides public services. In term of service quality, it can reflect the performance in implementing the duty and function. Furthermore, Wringinanom district is the provider of public service in population administration, such as the service in electronic identity card and the family card. However, several problems have been found in the quality of population administration services in Wringinanom district. The study uses the variable of service quality in qualitative descriptive research method. The analysis technique applies four methods, namely data collection, reduction, presentation and conclusion. Moreover, the result indicates the quality of population administration service does not have good quality, especially in electronic identity card and the family card in Wringinanom district. It is proven from several indicators that have not been fulfilled. The first indicator is physical evidence dimension that has lack of comfortable public place. Whereas, the second indicator is reliability dimension that can be seen from the uncertain service standard. The last is empathy dimension in which the service still needs an improvement.

Abstract

Jatinom Village Apparatus organizes the public services in Blitar Regency. This study aims to analyze the professionalism of village officials in the Jatinom village office in Blitar. The research uses qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection uses observation, interview, documentation with data collection techniques, presentation, condensation, and conclusions. There are four indicators to measure the professionalism of the village apparatus, namely 1) Competence 2) Effectiveness 3) Efficiency 4) Responsible. With six sub indicators, namely Skills, Knowledge, Quantity, Quality, and Time. The results showed that the Professionalism of the Village Apparatus in Organizing Public Services in Jatinom Village Office. There were two professional sub-indicators, namely skills and knowledge. Village officials have good public speaking. However, there are four sub-indicators, namely quantity, quality, time, and responsibility, such as the staffs do not have a set of target time, have different work experiences that affect service quality, and do not obey the working hours.

Abstract

Surabaya Language House Program is established by the Mayor of Surabaya Tri Rismaharini in 2014 aimed at improving the quality of human resources by learning foreign languages for free. The Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world in early 2020 made the Language House Program temporarily suspended and began to be held again using online media. This study aims to determine the form of community participation in the Language House Program during Covid-19. This study uses the theory of Keith Davis in Sastropoetro (1988). The method uses qualitative case study approach. Data collection techniques uses documentation, online interviews, online observations. The results indicate that the form of mind participation is in online classes so that Language House Program does not completely stop. The form of energy participation carried out is by tutors in teaching language through online media. The form of mind and energy participation is done by making syllabus which will be taught in each class through discussions. The form of skill participation is to develop the language skills by taking language certification and teaching practices.

Abstract

A good corporate governance and financial leverage are necessary for a company. This study aims to determine the influence of good corporate governance and leverage towards the financial performance of food and beverage companies listed on the IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange) in period (2013-2017). The supporting variable includes good corporate governance determined by the board of commissioner, the independent commissioner, the audit committee, and the managerial ownership, leverage through the DAR (Debt-Asset Ratio), and financial performances determined by ROA (Return on Assets). The study analyzes four companies based on purposive sampling. The technique of analysis uses multiple linear regression with the IBM SPSS statistic version 24. The result indicates that good corporate governance which determined by the board of director; the independent commissioner, the audit committee, the managerial ownership, and the leverage variable simultaneously have a significant effect on the company performance. Partially, the capacity of the board of commissioner, the independent commissioner, the audit committee, and the managerial do not have a significant influence in the company performance. Both of the independent commissioner and the leverage have a negative influence. However, independent commissioner significantly influenced the company financial performances, while the leverage doesn’t significantly influence it.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the quality of electronic-based services on the website Sarana Informasi and Pelayanan Terpadu Pekerja Migran Indonesia (simPADU- PMI) in Unit Pelaksana Teknis Pelayanan Penempatan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (UPT P3TKI) in East Java. This research investigates the level of quality of electronic-based services on the website Sarana Informasi and Pelayanan Terpadu Pekerja Migran Indonesia (simPADU-PMI) in UPT P3TKI in East Java. It uses quantitative descriptive method and data collection techniques are obtained through questionnaires, documentation and interview. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the level of quality of electronic- based services on the website is still not maximal due to the results between performance and expectations approximately 91,74%. The results of the analysis of the level services quality of the website can be seen based on Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) from three indicators and twenty-three sub indicators obtained an average value of performance appraisal (X) of 3,77 while the assessment of interests (Y) of 4,11. The results of the analysis show that priorities improve service quality on quadrants one and three while in quadrant two and four need to be maintained in supporting the quality of website services in simPADU-PMI.
