Abstract

The UNMUH BABEL Community Service Program (KKN) at the Batu Mentas Village Community Service Center (LPHD) is located in Badau Village, Belitung Regency, which boasts beautiful tropical forests, clear streams, large rock formations, and a camping area. However, visual facilities, such as photo spots, are still limited. This community service activity aimed to create a creative, triangular photo spot made from bamboo and wood that blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment. The method used was a participatory approach, involving tourism managers in every stage, from site identification and design planning to material processing, to installation and evaluation. The results of the activity showed that the photo spot received a positive response from tourism managers and has the potential to become an effective promotional tool through social media posts. This innovation is expected to increase tourist visits, strengthen the destination's image as a sustainable ecotourism destination, and provide economic benefits to the local community.

Abstract

Innovative product development training serves as a strategic effort to enhance the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that utilize local resource potential. This article discusses a product innovation training program implemented for KAUDAFA MSME, which processes moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) as the main ingredient in food and beverage products in Teluk Limau Village, Parittiga District, West Bangka Regency. The primary goal of this training is to improve product quality through innovations in processing techniques, packaging design, and digital marketing strategies to expand market reach. This study employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the participants' capacity to develop moringa-based innovative products has significantly improved, which in turn contributes to the sustainable economic development of the local community.

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to improve the activeness of students at Nurul Jadid Senior High School by implementing educational games as part of the learning process. Many students were initially passive, rarely asking questions, giving opinions, or participating in discussions. The research used a collaborative classroom action research (CAR) design with two cycles consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings showed a significant improvement in students’ activeness: in the first cycle, only 45% of students actively participated, while in the second cycle, participation increased to 82%. The implementation of educational games successfully changed the students’ passive character into a more active and engaged attitude in the classroom.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan PKM yang dilakukan oleh tim dosen di Kecamatan Cabangbungin Kabupaten Bekasi adalah untuk melakukan sosialisasi kepada guru-guru agar dapat memahami tentang kurikulum terbaru yaitu kerikulum merdeka. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan tiga tahap. Pertama, memberikan sosialisasi kepada guru-guru ; kedua, diskusi menganai implemntasi kurikulum merdeka; dan ketiga melakukan penyampaian-penyampain kendala dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah guru di Kecamatan Cabangbungin sangat antusias dalam mengenal, mempelajari, dan memahami implementasi kurikulum merdeka sebagai alternatif pembelajaran di masa sekarang. Simpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah guru lebih kreatif dan inovatif dengan mencoba menerapkan kurikulum merdeka yang sangat bermanfaat untuk digunakan di sekolah maupun di kelas. Saran untuk pihak sekolah sebaiknya dapat memfasilitasi kebutuhan guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka baik dari laptop maupun jaringan internet agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan efektif.

Abstract

In an effort to increase income, particularly in the food sector, there is a program of planting and utilizing herbs. One of the herbs that people are starting to pay attention to is the butterfly pea (Clitoria ternatea), which is famous for its bright blue flowers and can be consumed.  This flower is suitable to be processed into a health drink because it does not have an odor so it doesn't interfere when used as a mixture.  In addition, a mixture of butterfly pea in drinks can also enhance the appearance because of the varied colors.  Butterfly pea is a type of plant that can be found in residents' yards which is usually used as a cultivated plant.  In the village of Baroh Blang Rimueng, Syamtalira Bayu sub-district, North Aceh Regency, there are several residents who cultivate butterfly pea in their yards, but many of them do not understand the benefits contained in butterfly pea. The target of this community service program are residents and PKK mothers, so that the community gets knowledge about processing products with the main ingredient of butterfly pea which can provide additional income for housewives.

Abstract

Gross motor movements are abilities that require coordination of most parts of a child's body. Gross motor movements require energy because they are carried out by larger muscles. In general, learning in PAUD is more focused on the development of fine motor aspects, while gross motor development is given less attention. Development of gross motor aspects in early childhood such as throwing and catching balls, walking on catwalks, walking with various variations, jumping and so on. These activities are rarely practiced by young children, under the guidance and supervision of educators or teachers, and it is hoped that all aspects of development can develop optimally. The aim of this community service is to improve the skills and understanding of PAUD teachers in Nanga Pinoh sub-district, Melawi district. creating games that can improve children's gross motor development. This service activity is motivated by identified partner weaknesses including (1) variations in carrying out gross motor activities so that children are reluctant to take part in physical learning, (2) gross motor skills have not grown optimally, this causes children to lack practice in physical learning activities, (3 ) reference books and information about gross skills are not yet widely owned by PAUD teachers so that the learning process only refers to the teacher's experience, (4) Lack of innovation by teachers in providing teaching methods through games that can improve children's physical development. The solution offered is to provide Socialization of Gross Motor Games for Early Age Children, Nanga Pinoh District, Melawi Regency. The external target of this penandian is socialization and assistance in gross motor games for PAUD teachers and children which is held for two days. The methods used are lecture, simulation and discussion methods. The result of implementing this community service activity is to provide an overview and direction to teachers that playing educational games can improve aspects of children's development, especially gross motor development. Educational outdoor games provide opportunities for children to learn cooperation, solidarity, tolerance, honesty, discipline, hard work, increase creativity, independence, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, respect, leadership, cooperation, care for the environment, caring. social, responsibility, religious, and likes to read. Based on these conditions, it is necessary to carry out community service activities as one of the implementations of the Tri Darma of Higher Education activities. This service activity was carried out for children and PAUD teachers in Nanga Pinoh District, Melawi Regency. The teacher is responsible for the success of every learning activity that has been designed. Teachers who are not optimal in preparing game designs will produce learning activities that are not optimal. This causes the targeted learning achievements not to be achieved.Keywords: Socialization, Gross Motor Games, Early Childhood

Abstract

Unplanned waste management practices will give rise to more complex and detrimental social problems. Indiscriminate dumping of rubbish, burning rubbish and piling rubbish in public places are habits that cause air and land pollution, which ultimately has an impact on high ground water levels and causes obstruction of water channels which ultimately results in flooding. Waste management issues must be investigated and addressed by all stakeholders as soon as possible. Waste cannot be handled carelessly; rather, it requires a comprehensive approach that involves all stakeholders to solve it, turning it from a societal problem into one that adds value to managers' profits and protects the environment. Uncertainty regarding the importance of 4R-based waste management is still a major problem in society. This situation then encourages the development of new problems related to waste, such as unpleasant views, strong odors, and disturbed environmental conditions. Environmental and social problems are also caused by the increasing amount of waste thrown into landfills in the surrounding environment. The aim of this service project is to increase public awareness of the possible risks associated with waste and the importance of keeping the environment clean. As a genuine effort to control waste and offer alternative options to strengthen the community's economy, this activity will provide an overview to the community regarding the economic possibilities and opportunities of 4R-based waste management. By implementing a 4R-based waste management program, the people of Lhokseumawe City can maximize waste as a source of income. By sorting waste and selling it to collectors, people can earn additional income from waste. Apart from that, this waste management program can also open up new business opportunities for the community, such as processing organic waste into fertilizer or eco enzymes. This service activity will be carried out for one year in 2023 by producing mandatory outputs in the form of increasing the community's knowledge and skills in managing their waste using 4R, publication in the ISSN Service Journal, publication on electronic media and activity videos.

Abstract

Isu lingkungan hidup adalah sebuah isu yang sangat penting untuk dipahami oleh Masyarakat secara umum, khususnya terkait dengan perubahan iklim. Masalah lingkungan sangat banyak dan beragam sehingga harus bisa dipecahkan salah satunya melalui pendekatan Pendidikan yaitu pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberdayakan pengetahuan siswa SMK terkait dengan isu lingkungan perubahan iklim. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan seminar yang dilakukan secara daring (online). Responden dari kegiatan ini adalah siswa SMKN 1 Jakarta yang juga mengisi pre-test sebelum pemaparan materi dan mengisi post-test sesudah pemaparan materi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan siswa SMK dari pre-test (22.18) menuju ke post-test (50.62). Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang sudah dilakukan adalah bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan siswa SMK terkait dengan isu perubahan iklim

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan materi lingkungan hidup yang masih belum tersosialisasi kepada Masyarakat, khususnya terkait dengan go-green. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk melakukan pemberdayaan pengetahuan siswa tentang go-green kepada siswa SMK. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah menggunakan metode seminar secara daring yang dilakukan kepada siswa SMKN 1 Jakarta. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa  kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan tanpa kendala koneksi internet. Terjadi peningkatan skor pengetahuan siswa SMK dari pre-test (25.93) mengalami peningkatan skor saat post-test (50.93). Upaya pelestarian lingkungan hidup melalui kegiatan di SMK bisa dilakukan dengan seminar seperti kegiatan ini. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pemberdayaan pengetahuan siswa dengan cara seminar secara daring dianggap cukup efektif

Abstract

Abstrak: Desa Gondang, terletak di Kabupaten Lombok Utara, terdiri dari 12 dusun, termasuk dusun Lekok yang mencakup Lekok Tenggara, Lekok Timur, Lekok Selatan, dan Lekok Utara. Dusun Lekok memiliki TPS 3R Ita Peduli sebagai tempat pembuangan sampah dengan pendekatan Reduce, Reuse, dan Recycle (3R). Akantetapi, pengelolaan TPS ini kurang efektif. Pengelolaan sampah yang baik adalah kunci menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Untuk memperbaiki pengelolaan sampah, dilakukan program kerja KKN edukasi, meliputi observasi awal, perencanaan, persiapan kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan edukasi, pembuatan ecobrick, dan pemasangan Plang. Hasil dari program ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pengelolaan sampah, bahaya sampah yang tidak dikelola dengan baik, serta kerjasama antara Bank Sampah Persada Lotara dengan KSM. Program ini juga menciptakan produk bernilai tambah berupa ecobrick dan Plang TPS 3R, yang meningkatkan fasilitas desa. penyelenggaraan program ini diharapkan menjadi inspirasi bagi desa-desa lain dalam pengelolaan sampah, menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat Desa Gondang.Kata kunci: Pengelolaan sampah; edukasi; TPS 3R; Desa Gondang; lingkungan.
