Abstract

Emotional intelligence is needed to be able to hold someone solve problems and overcome things that are around him. Puasa Daud can have a positive impact on the psyche, mental retention, self-control, stress control, and psyhophysical therapy. Purpose of research; To know the influence of Puasa Daud on Emotonal Intelligence of Ma’had Al-Husain bin’Ali Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo. The design of this study used Pre Experiment with One Group Pre-test and Post-test design. Sample of 15 respondents. The result of the research using Paired T-Test statistic test showed emotonal intelligence after done the fasting teratment daud got sig value. 0,000 (p <0.05). the conclusion in this research is that there is influence of Puasa Daud to Emotional Intelligence of Ma’had Al-Husain bin ‘Ali Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to determine the influence of images visualization and audiovisual to increase dietary adherence in diabetes mellitus patients type II. The design of research is used quasi experimental with pretest-posttest form with control group design that used technique cluster sampling and 42 respondents were divided into 21 groups of control and intervention group 21 diabetes mellitus patients type II, and the data analysis is used Chi Square test. The result is there is no difference in improvement of dietary compliance before and after pictures and audiovisual educational visualization in the control group and the intervention group with p value = 0.039. Health Center Suggestions is expected to contain policies   to   develop   educational   methods   diabetes   mellitus,   with   the  application   of visualization  of images  and  audiovisual  media  about  diet  and  diabetes  complications  in improving compliance.

Abstract

Measles Rubella immunization is combination of Measles and Rubella vaccine for protection against Measles and Rubella. The objective of research was to determine the relationship of nurse officer roles and teacher with the implementation of Measles Rubella immunization. The design used analytic quantitative survey with cross sectional approach. Sampling technique used Total sampling with 42 samples of nurse officer and teacher. Analysis used chi square with the significant   = 0,05, the result obtained there is  relationship between nurse officer with the implementation of MR immunization with ρ = 0,026 < 0,05, and also there is  relationship between teacher with the implementation of MR immunization with ρ = 0,022 < 0,05.

Abstract

Family support is very important in fostering a healthy life. The aim of this research identifying the “The Relationship Level Of Knowledge And Status Economy With The Family Support In Patients With Schizophrenia”. Descriptive quantitative research design form comparative with the sample of 33 respondents. Instrument knowledge level, status economy with the family support by using questioner. The result showed no correlation with the level of knowledge with family support (p=0,001;α=0,05) and there is a correlation with the support of family economic status (p=0,001;α=0,05) in caring for family members of patients with schizophrenia in Puskesmas Mongolato. The research recommends the importance of mental health education programs to families who care for pasients with a history of schizophrenia.

Abstract

Quality of health care in a hospital is required in order to maintain the number of visits, both curative visit and rehabilitative visit. Good quality service is expected by the patients (customers),   it can be a encouragement for the customers to establish strong ties with the service provider such as hospitals, especially, in the globalization era where the competition among health care providers both public and private get stronger ( Kadir, 2002). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the service quality (reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and  physical evidence) and the increase the visit number of outpatient unit at Prof. Dr. Aloei Saboe General Hospital in Gorontalo City. The method used in this research was survey research with an analytical approach. The population was the entire patients of Aloei Saboe Hospital in 2012. The samples were 110 people, taken from all outpatients, by proportional stratified random sampling. There is a relationship between reliability with increased outpatient visits. The test result obtained x2 count (13.838), greater than the x2 table (3,841) phi value of 0.34, whereas the OR value of 6.341, meant that reliability increased 6.3 times the number of outpatient visits. Service responsiveness test results showed that there is a relationship between responsiveness and the increase of outpatient visits. The Service Assurance of Aloei Saboe was lack. The test results showed there is relationship between assurance with the increase of outpatient visits. The test results also showed there is relationship between empathy with the increase of outpatient visit. The test results showed an association between physical evidence with the increased of outpatient visit at Aloei Saboe Hospital.

Abstract

One of non pharmacological therapies of its problem is giving star fruit juice. The objective of this research is to find out Affectivity of Star fruit Juice on Decreasing Cholesterol Level on elderly at Puskesmas Dunggaliyo. Design of research used quasi eksperimen with two group pretest posttest only design. The explanation of this research about all the elderly at Puskesmas Dunggaliyo with 66 elderly. The samples used 20 respondents. Analyzing data used paired T Test statistical test. The result showed there are the average of cholesterol level of elderly at Puskesmas Dunggaliyo before giving star fruits juice 219,5% gr/dl, average of cholesterol after giving star fruits juice 197,1 gr/dl. The conclusion is the star fruits juice effectively could decrease cholesterol level in elderly (p value 0,000). Recommendation for this research result could be considered to use as one of intervention of the nurses to elderly who has high level of blood cholesterol.

Abstract

The Factors that Influence the Society in Utilization of Herbal in the village of West Pilohayanga su-district of Telaga Gorontalo Regency Gorontalo Province.Herbs are natural ingredients that are useful to increase endurance and can treat various diseases. The purpose of this research to determine the factors that influence the society in using of herbal in the village of West Pilohayanga sub-district of Telaga Gorontalo Regency. Design research using descriptive survey with cross sectional approach. Sampling used random sampling technique systematic sample of 36 respondents. The society use herbal 61.1%, good knowledge society 69.4%, the society habit 58.3%, high-income society 19.4%. After statistical test showed knowledge p value = 0.043, habit p value = 0.028, and revenue p value = 0.005. Conclusion there is has the influence of knowledge, there is the influence of habit, and there is has the inluence of income on the utilization of herbals.

Abstract

Puskesmas constitutes one of the most health facilitation that give health services to society is confront quality service. The society demand to the Puskesas’s worker  to increase performance and professionalism. In order to get society satisfaction and  to reach a good performance needed disciplined in working. this research aim to get relationship job’s discipline with health officer raising performance at puskesmas tuladenggi. Observational design that is utilized is descriptive correlation with cross sectional survey's approaching. population in observational is PNS and  amount to 47 person. Meanwhile sample took by saturated sampling tech, with the meaning all population was made by sampel.pengumpulan data did by observation tech and kuesioner. to test dianalisis's data by use of univariat's analysis tech and bivariate. For univariat's data analysis did by analisis presentation to see distribution each variable. meanwhile for dianalisis's bivariate data analysis with approaching statisticaling to utilize Chi Square's quiz formula.

Abstract

Luka bakar merupakan keadaan hilangnya jaringan dan kerusakan yang dipicu oleh sumber panas seperti air panas, listrik, api, radiasi dan bahan kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Tingkat Pengetahuan Masyarakat Tentang Penanganan Luka Bakar. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probabilitas sampling  dengan jumlah sampel 100 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Kota Timur Kecamatan Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo tergolong dalam kategori cukup (56,0%) dan dapat dilihat bahwa masih banyak masyarakat yang salah dengan menggunakan pasta gigi untuk penanganan luka bakar (73,0%). Sehingga perlu diberikan penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai penanganan luka bakar

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the factors that correlated twith optimizing the implementation of kangaroo treatment method on newbron infants at RSUD Dr. M.M. Dunda Limboto. This research design used survey analyticalwith cross sectional study design. The samples are used 32 mothers.Collection data used questionnaires and observation froom. The data analyzed usedChi squarestatistic test. The result showed thereare correlation of knowledge level (p value 0,010), attitude (p value 0,000) and nurse’s support (p value 0,011) with optimizingimplementation of kangaroo treatment method in newborns infants at RSUD Dr. M.M. Dunda Limboto. Suggested to the hospital especially to the nurses as the service profider, Expected to develop the right program and sustainable for mothers in increasing the implementation of newbrons treatment.at home.
