Abstract

his service is entitled Counseling on Soro Marriage Provisions forKaili Tribe Marriages in Donggala Regency. The service in the backgroundof the Soso Marriage Procession still causes debate among certaincommunity groups, because many things can happen. Soro marriages mustnot be registered with the local Population and Civil Registry Serviceor at the Office of Religious Affairs in recognition by the state. Thisprocession is only known to the family and community leaders who can betrusted or appointed by the family carrying out the celebration. Withthis mechanism, it can have an impact on the social conditions of societyas well as other legal aspects. Thus, the Service Team as academics musthelp the community find the root of the problems that arise. Of coursethey must be found. For the purpose of knowing the factors that influencethe occurrence of a kasoro marriage in Kaili tribe marriages and thelegal aspects of carrying out a kasoro marriage based on applicableregulations. The method of this activity is the lecture method andquestion and answer method with the delivery of theoretical mainmaterial, where the material is presented by several people aspresenters with the target being the Kola-Kola Village Office, Kec.Central Banawa Donggala Regency.Keywords: Kaili tribe; Marriage; Soro's marriage.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze youth participation in the da'wah program at the Nurul Yaqin Mosque, Maleni Village, Donggala Regency. Youth participation is very important in the religious and social development of society. In the context of mosques, teenagers have a strategic role in supporting da'wah activities to make them more dynamic and sustainable. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the level of youth participation at the Nurul Yaqin Mosque is still relatively moderate. Factors that influence participation include family support, social environment, and the attractiveness of the da'wah program being held. Obstacles faced include a lack of internal motivation among teenagers, a lack of innovation in delivering preaching material, and limited supporting facilities. This research suggests improving the quality of da'wah programs by involving more creative and modern elements to make them more relevant to the needs and interests of today's teenagers.

Abstract

Maize is one of the main agricultural commodities in Indonesia, especially in rural areas. Most people still utilize maize only as staple food or animal feed. Therefore, innovations in corn processing are needed to increase community income through value-added products. One creative idea that can be developed is the processing of corn into chips. Corn chips are processed products that have good market potential, because in addition to being nutritious, they also have a crunchy texture and taste that can be adjusted to consumer preferences This community service program aims to: 1.Develop community skills in processing corn into chips.2.Increase the economic value of corn through product diversification.3.Open new business opportunities for village communities.4.Increase community income through marketing corn chips products.Methods used in this study, a) Socialization and Education, b) Technical training in processing corn chips, c) Packaging and marketing assistance, d) Monitoring and Evaluation. Processing corn into chips is one of the creative solutions in increasing the added value of local agricultural commodities. By providing training and assistance to the community, it is hoped that they can develop this business as an additional source of income that can sustain the village economy.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the skills of students at SD Inpres Matawue through the application of leaf-based ecoprint techniques. Ecoprint is an environmentally friendly fabric coloring method that utilizes natural pigments from plants, as well as being an educational medium to instill values ??of environmental concern from an early age. This activity was carried out with a qualitative descriptive approach through three main stages: planning, implementing ecoprint practices, and evaluating student work. The subjects of the activity were grade V students, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the activity showed an increase in aspects of fine motor skills, creativity, and students' aesthetic sensitivity. In addition, students showed high enthusiasm and gained a fun contextual learning experience. This activity shows that ecoprint can be used as an alternative to skills-based learning that supports character education and a love of nature.

Abstract

TARASI AMPANA merupakan kegiatan literasi yang diadakan oleh mahasiswa KKNT universitas Muhammdiyah Palu angkatan LXVI yang berkolaborasi bersama Dinas perpustakaan dan kearsipan daerah kabupaten Tojo una-una. Dengan pendekatan yang ramah anak, taman ini tidak hanya membantu anak-anak belajar membaca, tetapi juga menumbuhkan minat serta menambah informasi atau wawasan anak-anak , Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran Taman Literasi Ampana sebagai sarana edukasi dan penguatan literasi terhadap anak-anak Yang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dunia literasi yang lebih luas kepada masyarakat khususnya anak-anak .Taman Literasi Ampana hadir sebagai solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi anak-anak di Kecamatan Ampana Kota, kabupaten Tojo Una-una. Taman literasi ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ruang membaca, tetapi juga sebagai pusat edukasi yang menawarkan berbagai kegiatan interaktif yang dapat merangsang minat baca, kreativitas, serta berpikir kritis pada anak. Taman literasi ini menjadi inisiatif lokal yang menggabungkan konsep perpustakaan keliling dengan taman bermain, yang tidak hanya menarik bagi anak-anak tetapi juga mendorong keterlibatan aktif dari keluarga dan komunitas dalam mendukung perkembangan literasi anak. Artikel ini mengkaji peran strategis Taman Literasi Ampana dalam penguatan literasi anak, serta bagaimana taman ini mampu mengenalkan dunia literasi yang luas kepa anakk-anak. Melalui dukungan komunitas dan keterlibatan berbagai elemen masyarakat.

Abstract

Stunting is a global health issue that has a significant negative impact on a country. Community empowerment through the role of posyandu cadres and mothers with toddlers is very much needed in efforts to prevent stunting. The aim of this activity is to provide health education about stunting and providing proper nutrition for children under five. This activity was carried out on September 6 2024 at Posyandu Toddlers RW 02 with a target of 3 posyandu cadres and 8 mothers with toddlers posyandu cadres and mothers with toddlers. Health workers together with toddler posyandu cadres are expected to be able to provide education to the public about stunting and proper nutrition for toddlers as an effort to prevent stunting which is carried out regularly at least 3 times a month.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the independence and economic welfare of the community through the development of local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Mantikulore District, Palu City. The main problems faced by MSME partners include limitations in business management, lack of access to digital marketing technology, and low quality product packaging, which limits competitiveness. Community service activities are carried out through business management mentoring, digital-based marketing training, and innovation in product packaging. The methods used include outreach, workshops, technical guidance, and continuous monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activities show an increase in knowledge and skills of MSME actors, improved product quality, and expanded market access both offline and online. Thus, this program is expected to strengthen the capacity of local MSMEs, increase competitiveness, and encourage economic growth in the Mantikulore District, Palu City.

Abstract

This community service program aims to develop a sensitive spirit among the younger generation by strengthening the productive, educational, cooperative, and action-oriented aspects of Karang Taruna members in Wani II Village, Tanantovea District, Donggala Regency. The challenges faced include low youth participation in positive activities, underutilization of their potential, and the influence of negative lifestyles that can harm their future. The program's implementation methods included outreach, workshops, skills training, mentoring, and social action activities involving all Karang Taruna members. Results demonstrated increased motivation and social awareness among members, improved organizational management and entrepreneurship skills, and the creation of stronger collaboration among youth. Through this program, Karang Taruna in Wani II Village has transformed into a platform for developing youth character and creativity, while simultaneously serving as a driving force for social development at the village level

Abstract

Kanker payudara merupakan penyakit yang berkembang dari sel-sel payudara yang mengalami pertumbuhan tidak terkendali. Kanker payudara lebih umum terjadi pada wanita, meskipun pria juga dapat terkena penyakit ini dengan prevalensi yang jauh lebih rendah. Di Indonesia, kanker payudara merupakan penyebab utama kematian pada wanita, yang menekankan urgensi pentingnya peningkatan kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang deteksi dini. Di Indonesia kasus kanker payudara menempati urutan pertama dengan frekuensi relatif sebesar 18,6%. Salah satu langkah efektif dalam mendeteksi dini kanker payudara adalah melalui pemeriksaan payudara sendiri atau SADARI. Pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) adalah metode sederhana yang dapat dilakukan oleh setiap individu untuk mendeteksi tanda-tanda awal kanker payudara. Pemeriksaan SADARI terletak pada kemampuannya untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan yang mencurigakan pada jaringan payudara sebelum berkembang menjadi kondisi yang lebih serius. Meskipun demikian, banyak masyarakat yang belum sepenuhnya menyadari pentingnya melakukan pemeriksaan ini secara rutin. Pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) adalah metode sederhana yang dapat dilakukan oleh setiap individu untuk mendeteksi tanda-tanda awal kanker payudara. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah melakukan pemberdayaan kelompok masyarakat melalui sosialisasi SADARI dalam upaya mendeteksi dini kanker payudara. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan kegiatan edukasi 1 hari yaitu tanggal 7 September 2024 kemudian di lakukan observasi dan evaluasi satu kali kunjungan kepada peserta yaitu pada tanggal 21 September 2024 dalam melakukan SADARI. Hasil posttest menunjukkan pengetahuan peserta setelah dilakukan edukasi mengalami peningkatan jika dibandingkan dengan hasil pretest. Jika dilihat hasil postest 100% pengetahuan peserta tentang SADARI mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

Waste is a byproduct of human activity that is no longer needed, unwanted, or deemed disposable. Improper waste disposal behaviors can pollute the environment and diminish cleanliness. Ecobrick is a collaborative-based technology offering an innovative solution to reduce household plastic waste. In Boneoge Village, several environmental issues persist, including low public awareness and responsibility for maintaining cleanliness, lack of effective plastic waste management, and limited waste disposal facilities, resulting in waste accumulation and environmental pollution. To address these challenges, a community service team proposed training and mentoring programs for Boneoge residents to manage household plastic waste using the Ecobrick method. The long-term objective of this program is to foster community self-reliance in plastic waste management, creating opportunities for new businesses through marketable products. One proposed product is flower pots made from Ecobricks, which will be distributed to the community as examples and inspiration for developing other economically valuable items
