Abstract

The limited water absorption of sago starch requires the addition of soybean isolate protein and transglutaminase in its formation into a dough. The purpose of this study was to analyse the effect of addition of soy protein and transglutaminase to sago starch on the water absorption. The study was conducted with the stages of characterization of sago starch, determining the effect of protein concentration of soybean isolates, and determining the effect of the addition of transglutaminase to increase water absorption. The results showed that the addition of 9% concentration of soybean isolate protein could increase water absorption up to 4.60 (g/g). This addition decreased swelling power because the soybean isolate protein has the ability to form a gel lower than starch and also the interaction between starch and protein which limits swelling power. The increase in solubility occured because electrostatic interactions were higher than hydrophobics in the amino acid protein isolates of soybeans. In addition, it decreased peak viscosity, increased final viscosity, decreased viscosity and initial temperature of the gelatinizes. Addition of transglutaminase 2.16 (U/g protein) to sago starch which had been added to soybean isolate protein increased water absorption up to 4.71 (g/g). The addition decreased swelling power and solubility, increased peak viscosity, final viscosity, deterioration of viscosity and initial temperature of gelatinization. Abstract

Kondisi ekonomi masyarakat yang mulai terpuruk sejah masuknya pandemi Covid 19 menjadi perhatian semua pihak. Penguatan ketahanan pangan mulai gencar dilaksanakan dalam upaya penanggulangan permaslahan ekonomi pada setiap rumah tangga dengan memanfaatkan semua potensi sumber daya yang ada di sekitarnya dalam hal ini adalah lahan pekarangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan berupa sosialisasi, diskusi, Tanya jawab. Hasil Pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa semua peserta yang hadir sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian yaitu sosialisasi, diskusi dan Tanya jawab tentang fungsi dan manfaat lahan pekarangan serta upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menambah penghasilan atau pendapatan pada masyarakat Desa Merembu Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Kesimpulan kegiatan pengabdian sebagai berikut: semua peserta yang terdiri dari ibu ibu rumah tangga, pemuda, dan masyarakat maupun orang tua yang ada di Desa Merembu Kabupaten Lombok Barat sangat antusias mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan dengan memberikan respon yang positif selama kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung. Tim Pengabdian memaparkan dan memberikan sosialisasi pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan sehingga bisa menghasilkan tambahan pendapatan bagi masyarakat dan peserta aktif menanyakan hal-hal yang belum jelas dari materi yang telah di sampaikan. Pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan tidak hanya untuk digunakan pada bidang pertanian namun juga bisa digunakan pemanfaatannya untuk pengembangan usaha produksi dengan skala mikro, membuat bengkel mini, tempat pencucian motor atau mobil Pada akhir kegiatan ini perserta dapat memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan sebagai tambahan penghasilan atau pendapatan masyarakat di Desa Merembu Kabupaten Lombok Barat

Abstract

Islam mengajarkan prinsip keadilan, kejujuran dang tanggung jawab. Pada konteks ini prinsip-prinsip ekonomi islam yang mendorong integritas, kejujuran, dan keadilan dapat mempengaruhi motifasi dan kinerja karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pengaruh self efficacy, servant leadership dan self awareness terhadap kinerja karyawan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif melalui pendekatan asosiatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel yaitu rumus slovin dengan jumlah populasi 118 karyawan, maka hasil perhitungan rumus slovin diperoleh sampel sebanyak 38 orang. Data diperoleh dengan cara membagikan kuesioner kepada responden di PT. Media Fajar Koran dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 38 orang. Menggunakan program IBM SPSS 22. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Servant leadership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Self awareness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Self efficacy, servant leadership dan self awareness secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The text discusses the challenges faced by educators in improving learning success, particularly in the field of science at SDN Beutong. Science education is crucial as it relates to everyday life and understanding the universe. To optimize the learning process, it is important for teachers to use effective teaching methods that allow students to efficiently learn and achieve desired results. One way to improve science learning is by incorporating video media, specifically in teaching about ecosystems. Video media helps to engage students, encourage critical thinking, and increase the effectiveness of learning. The article aims to describe the video media-based learning model used in teaching science ecosystem material to fifth-grade students at SDN Beutong. The study utilized a descriptive qualitative method, with researchers observing the learning process through direct observation without active participation. The research findings indicated that the use of an animated video-based simulation model improved student learning outcomes in ecosystem learning at SDN Beutong.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has made significant efforts to enhance literacy at the elementary school level as a foundational aspect of students' educational development and to foster a culture of reading and writing from an early age. This research aims to understand literacy activities in elementary schools to impact students' interest and instill character by studying reading, writing, and cultural literacy. Specifically, the research seeks to determine the impact of principals' leadership on teachers' roles in implementing school literacy activities. Using a qualitative approach, the study's results demonstrate that the leadership of school principals in Cluster VI, Kota Bahagia District, South Aceh, significantly influences the implementation of school literacy programs. Principals with positive personalities, adequate knowledge, a strong understanding of the vision and mission, good decision-making abilities, and effective communication skills are able to support and facilitate teachers in literacy implementation. Literacy is crucial for elementary school students as it enables them to read well, write, listen, and understand the diverse cultures of Indonesia, instilling cultural character from an early age.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh GCG (Good Corporate Governance) terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan. Dimana yang termasuk kriteria GCG yaitu ukuran dewan komisaris, ukuran dewan direksi, dan ukuran dewan komite. Sedangkan profitabilitas menggunakan rasio ROE (Return On Equity). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda dengan jumlah sampel 4 dari 66 Populasi berupa perusahaan-perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode tahun 2019-2021 kemudian menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu metode purposive sampling. Hasilnya berupa variabel dewan komisaris berpengaruh positif terhadap ROE dan dewan direksi berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap ROE. Dewan komite berpengaruh negative terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the political marketing strategy of Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) as Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates in the 2024 Presidential Election, focusing on the YouTube platform through the 4P marketing-mix approach by Niffenegger (1989). The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research results show that the AMIN pair has strong support from a coalition of parties and non-parliamentary parties, and has a positive track record. The promotional strategy via YouTube has proven to be effective with personal channels that have a significant number of subscribers and the use of popular hashtags such as #aminajadulu. Despite limited campaign funds, AMIN succeeded in optimizing self-help support and establishing cooperation with prospective legislative members. In addition, AMIN's campaign locations and targets are in accordance with the characteristics of voters in the 2024 presidential election, especially the Millennial and Gen Z generations. Through creative portals such as https://gagasankita .id/home and the Desak Anies and Slepet Imin programs, AMIN has succeeded in engaging with various segments of society. This research provides an in-depth understanding of the effectiveness of political marketing strategies via the YouTube platform, describes political support, and highlights success in accessing the Millennial and Gen Z generations.

Abstract

Tiktok media is audio-visual media that presents various creative and interesting content and information for users. This media has become a popular application that is widely used and downloaded throughout the world. The high rate of use of TikTok media is like two sides of a coin which has an impact on various vulnerable ages, especially children. Children are an age that is vulnerable to being exposed to the impact of TikTok media in the era of the tsunami of content that is increasingly emerging, especially regarding their religious behavior. This article aims to determine the strengthening of da'wah amidst the high use of media among children in Ntobo Village, Raba District, Bima City. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data was obtained through observations, interviews and documentation. Based on this research, it is known that the high use of TikTok media tends to have a negative impact on children's religious behavior which can be seen from various forms of deviation from religious law, a decrease in moral values and politeness and an increasing sense of shame. In this case, strengthening the value of da'wah is a solution to stem the tsunami of TikTok media content which is supported by parental supervision and social control.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' learning motivation in Arabic language classes using the snowball throwing method. This method is designed to create an engaging and interactive learning environment while fostering students' confidence, responsibility, mutual respect, and enthusiasm for learning. The research employed a classroom action research approach conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. Each cycle was completed in one session with an allocated time of 2 x 40 minutes. The results indicate a significant improvement in the implementation of teaching modules by the teacher, students' learning activities, and their learning motivation. In Cycle I, the implementation of the teaching module by the teacher reached 63.4% (categorized as good) and increased to 84.6% (categorized as very good) in Cycle II. Similarly, students' learning activities improved from 67.6% (good) in Cycle I to 91.1% (very good) in Cycle II. Moreover, students' average learning motivation scores rose from 42.1 (65%) in Cycle I to 52.9 (82%) in Cycle II. These findings demonstrate that the snowball throwing method is effective in enhancing students' learning motivation in Arabic language classes.

Abstract

Inovasi dalam pengelolaan sampah menjadi salah satu kunci utama dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih, sehat, dan berkelanjutan. Artikel ini mengkaji peran penting daur ulang sampah dalam mengurangi beban sampah yang terbuang, sekaligus mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Penekanan juga diberikan pada penerapan gaya hidup berkelanjutan yang meliputi pengurangan, penggunaan kembali, dan daur ulang (3R), serta bagaimana kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang efisien dapat meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan hidup. Inovasi teknologi dalam pengolahan sampah, seperti pemanfaatan sampah organik menjadi energi terbarukan dan pengolahan sampah plastik menjadi produk bernilai, turut menjadi solusi dalam mengurangi jumlah sampah yang mencemari alam. Melalui pendekatan kolaboratif antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan sektor swasta, diharapkan pengelolaan sampah dapat lebih efektif, mendukung pengurangan emisi karbon, dan menciptakan ekosistem yang lebih ramah lingkungan. Artikel ini juga menyoroti pentingnya edukasi dan sosialisasi untuk membangun budaya pengelolaan sampah yang bertanggung jawab, guna mencapai kota dan lingkungan yang bersih, sehat, serta berkelanjutan di masa depan.
