Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) ada tidaknya pengaruh lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan bagian produksi di Perusahaan Rokok Hendra Jaya Kudus; (2) ada tidaknya pengaruh pemberian kompensasi terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan bagian produksi di Perusahaan Rokok Hendra Jaya Kudus; (3) ada tidaknya pengaruh lingkungan kerja fisik dan pemberian kompensasi secara bersama-sama terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan bagian produksi di Perusahaan Rokok Hendra Jaya Kudus. Penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan bagian produksi di Perusahaan Rokok Hendra Jaya Kudus. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 115 orang karyawan bagian produksi di Perusahaan Rokok Hendra Jaya Kudus. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan proporsional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan angket (kuesioner) yang sebelumnya telah diuji coba (try out) dan diuji validitas serta uji reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Lingkungan kerja fisik berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan bagian produksi di Perusahaan Rokok Hendra Jaya Kudus (t hitung = 2,039, sign < 0,05); (2) Pemberian kompensasi berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan bagian produksi di Perusahaan Rokok Hendra Jaya Kudus (t hitung = 2,174, sign < 0,05); (3) lingkungan kerja fisik dan pemberian kompensasi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan bagian produksi di Perusahaan Rokok Hendra Jaya Kudus (F hitung = 5,529, sign < 0,05).

Abstract

The current study aimed to examine (1) the effect of learning facility on student's learning outcome in archive subject; (2) the effect of lecturer's learning method on student's learning outcome in archive subject; and (3) the interplay of facility and lecturer's learning method on student's learning outcome. The population of the study was the sixth-semester students class A and B of Office Administration Education department who had passed archive subject. They were selected using saturated. The present research employed correlational design. The data were collected using facility questionnaire and learning method questionnaire. The data regarding learning outcome were gathered from the result of the midterm examination. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and then followed by Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test with 0.5 significance level. The results of the study are as follow. (1) the study found that learning method significantly affects learning outcome (rcount 0,468 > rtable 0,254). (2) the study found that learning facility significantly affects learning outcome (rcount 0,458 > rtable 0,254). (3) the study found that facility and learning method affect learning outcome (Fcount 17,746 > Ftable 3,17). The R2 value was 0.384. This indicated that learning facility and method simultaneously affect learning outcome by 38.4%, while the rest of it is addressed by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out: (1) the optimization of SLiMS automation system in Reading Room of Office Administration Education Program Study of FKIP UNS (Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University), (2) the constraints encountered in applying automation system in Reading Room of Office Administration Education Program Study of FKIP UNS; and solution to the application of automation system in Reading Room of Office Administration Education Program Study of FKIP UNS in order to be more maximal. This study was a descriptive qualitative research. The sampling techniques employed were purposive and snow ball sampling ones. Data sources employed were informant, place, and event, as well as archive and document. Techniques of collecting data used were interview, observation, and documentation. Data validation was carried out using source and method triangulations. Technique of analyzing data used was an interactive model of analysis. The result of research showed that the application of SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) automation in Reading Room of Office Administration Education Program Study of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Surakarta Sebelas Maret University included: circulation service, retrieval system (OPAC), member administration, and literature processing. The constraints encountered in SLiMS application are administrator’s poor competency in using SLiMS automation system leading to less maximal system utilization, and inadequate facilities including the availability of one computer unit only, the limited number of reading table available, and the inadequate space condition. Availability of library materials is still lacking in terms of both quantity and content. The attempts taken to deal with such constraints were: to hold training activity for SLiMS automation system conducted by administrators of reading room, to repair and to provide facilities in reading room by proposing it to the central office through study program, for example, increasing the number of air conditioners (AC). In addition, he also asked for donations from alumnus to increase the collection of library materials.

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether or not there is (1) the influence of the teachers’ pedagogical competence on the learning outcomes; (2) the influence of students’ communication competence on the learning outcomes; (3) the influence of teacher’s pedagogical competence and students’ communication competence on the learning outcomes. This study used a saturated sampling technique or census because the population was less than 100 students, so the samples in this study were all students of grade XI of Office Administration Expertise Program of State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta, which involved 95 students in total. The result of the study were as follows (1) there was an influence of the teacher’s pedagogical competence on the learning outcome of Public Relation Administration and Protocol Course based on the value of rcount > rtable which was 0.523 >0.202; (2) the was an influence of students’ communication competence on the learning outcomes of Public Relation Administration and Protocol Course based on the value of rcount > rtable which was 0.400 > 0.202; (3) there was an influence of the teacher’s pedagogical competence and student’s communication competence in the learning outcomes of Public Relation Administration and Protocol Course based on the value of Fcount > Ftable which is 20.978 > 3.095. The contribution of the teacher’s pedagogical competence and student’s communication competence to the learning outcomes of Public Relation Administration and Protocol Course was 31.3%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi; (2) pengaruh lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi; dan (3) pengaruh sosial ekonomi orang tua dan lingkungan teman sebaya secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh yang berjumlah 53 siswa yaitu kelas XI OTKP 1 dan 2. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi (thitung = 2,92, sign < 0,05), (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi (thitung = 4,25, sign < 0,05), dan (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan sosial ekonomi orang tua lingkungan teman sebaya secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi (fhitung = 13,87, sign < 0,05). Persamaan regresi linier Ŷ = -6,93 + 0,95X1 + 1,11X2. Sumbangan efektif pada penelitian ini secara bersama-sama sebesar 36% dan sisanya sebesar 64% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research were to find out 1) the effects of self-effficacy toward student’s interest in entrepreneurship program office administration SMK Sukawati Gemolong, 2) the effects of social economics status of the parents toward student’s interest in entrepreneurship program office administration SMK Sukawati Gemolong, and 3) the effects of self-efficacy and social economics status of the parents together toward student’s interest in entrepreneurship program office administration SMK Sukawati Gemolong.This research used a descriptive metods with quantitative. The population in this research were all student of class XI and XII program office administration SMK Sukawati Gemolong which amounted to 79 students. The sample in this research amount to 66 students, taken with stratified proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaire and document. The data analysis technique using multiple regression, t test, and F test. The conclusions of this research is that there are positive and significant  effect of 1) self-effficacy toward student’s interest in entrepreneurship program office administration SMK Sukawati Gemolong with tcount  amount 8,079 (α = 5%, 2) social economics status of the parents toward student’s interest in entrepreneurship program office administration SMK Sukawati Gemolong with tcount  amount 3,029 (α = 5%), and 3) self-efficacy and social economics status of the parents together toward student’s interest in entrepreneurship program office administration SMK Sukawati Gemolong fcount amount 45,412 (α = 5%). The variable of self-efficacy gives relative contribution amount 82,78%  and effective contibution amount 48,84%. The variable of social economics satus of the parents gives relative contribution amount 17,36% and effective contibution amount 10,24%.  Keyword: Self Confidence, Social Class, and Desire Entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh  kemandirian belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran teknologi perkantoran; (2) pengaruh metode pembelajaran terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran teknologi perkantoran; dan (3) pengaruh kemandirian belajar dan metode pembelajaran secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran teknologi perkantoran. Populasi dalam penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X OTKP di SMK Wikarya Karanganyar sebanyak 43 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 23.0. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif yang sigifikan kemandirian belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran teknologi perkantoran dengan thitung sebesar 2,22 (sign. <0,05); (2) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan metode pembelajaran terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran teknologi perkantoran dengan thitung sebesar 3,94 (sign. <0,05); dan (3) terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan kemandirian belajar dan metode pembelajaran secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran teknologi perkantoran dengan Fhitung sebesar 14,86 (sign. <0,05).

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to direct (1)  the effect of communication skills on learning outcomes of public relations subject of grade XII AP SMK N 1 Banyudono, (2) the effect of student learning discipline on learning outcomes on public relations, (3) the effect of communication skills and student learning discipline on learning outcomes of public relations subject. This research used quantitative methods. The population was all students of grade XII. Sample of 71 students were taken by census technique. Data collection techniques for communication skills, learning discipline used questionnaire method, while learning outcomes used documentation method. The data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis using SPSS 17. Based on the results of data analysis that have been carried out, (1) there is a significant effect of communication skills on learning outcomes, (2) there is a significant effect of learning discipline on learning outcomes, (3) there is a significant simultaneous effect of communication skills and learning discipline on learning outcomes. With the effective contribution of communication skills (X1) of 17%, the effective contribution of learning discipline (X2) of 23.2% and the relative contribution of communication skills (X1) of 43.33%, the contribution of relative learning discipline (X2) of 56.71%.

Abstract

The research is aimed to identify whetever or not: (1) there’s  positive and  significant effect of work performance to be job promotion; (2 )there’s positive and significant effect of employees loyalty to be job promotion; (3) there’s positive and significant effect between work performance and employee loyalty together toward job  promotion. This study used quantitative approach. The population of this research was 229 people and the total sample of this study were 70 people taken by proportional random sampling. The method of collecting data this research was used observation, questionnaires, and analysis document. The technique of analizying the data used multiple regression analysis by using SPSS version 20. The results of this research showed that:(1) there was positive and significant influence between the variables of work performance to job promotion (tcount=3.503, sign<0,05), (2 )there was positive and significant influence between employees loyalty to job promotion (tcount=3.785, sign<0,05), (3) there was positive and significant influence between work performance and employee loyalty together toward job promotion (Fcount=17.172, sign<0,05). The multiple linear regression equation is Ŷ = 16,881 + 0,475 X1 + 0,490 X2.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to find out: (1) the implementation of HOTS- basedlearning; (2) constraints with the implementation of HOTS-based learning; and (3) solutions taken to deal with the constraints with the implementation of HOTS- based learning. This study was qualitative research with a case study approach. Data source derived from 12 informants coming from SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta, SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta, and SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta,  i n c l u d i n g  t h e Deputy  of Headmaster for Curriculum Division, Chairperson, teachers program, and students of Office Management Automation Specialties program. The techniques  of collecting data used were interview, observation, and document analysis. Data validation was carried out using source and method triangulation. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analytical techniques. The research procedure consisted of pre-field, field, data analysis, and report writing stages. The results of the research were as follows. (1) The implementation of learning in three Vocational High Schools studied applied HOTS-based learning after the use of 2013 curriculum. In the learning preparation stage, the learning implementation plan has been organized entirely and systematically based on the textbook and is oriented toward high-order thinking skills. (2) Constraints found in the implementation of HOTS-based learning were: teachers’ understanding of and preparedness for HOTS-based learning, learning plan and evaluation, and inadequate  learning  infrastructure.  (3)   Solutions   taken   to   deal   with   the constraints included holding socialization and workshop activities related to HOTS- based learning, using varying learning models, and motivating the students.
