Abstract

This study aims to determine the descriptions of self-criticism and its protective characteristics, namely self-forgiveness in early adulthood individuals who had experienced verbal abuse from their parents. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive design. The result of this study shows that the two subjects experienced both forms of self-criticism, namely inadequate self and hated self as a result of verbal abuse by parents. Both subjects also experienced the stages of avoidance motivation, revenge motivation and benevolence motivation to achieve self-forgiveness.

Abstract

This study discusses interpersonal communication for blind tutors at the Netra Mandiri Foundation in Palembang. This study aims to find out what factors affect interpersonal communication, how the process of interpersonal communication is, and how the impact of participants after attending classes at Yayasan Netra Mandiri Palembang. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Methods of data collection include observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of his study, the factors that affect interpersonal communication of the three subjects, AG, JK, and AP, can be seen in the second and fifth themes, namely about the point of view of the subject and other subjects. The interpersonal communication process of the three subjects, AG, JK, and AP, can be seen from the sixth and seventh themes on conveying material so that it is easy to understand and the material presented by the subject in class. The impact of the trainees participating in this training varied, including with subject training; they could easily do the online assignments given at their school, appear in cafes to become musicians and make bands, and be equipped to open massage services at home that they could help. The economy of the participants who took the training class. Impacts vary according to the aptitude of the trainees.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation with self regulated learning for Arabic Laugauge and Literatur students class of 2020-2021 in online learning during the pandemic covid-19. The population in this study were students of Arabic Language and Literatur class 2020-2021, totaling 122 students. The sample in this study were 94 students. The sampling technique used in this study is the Clutser Random Sampling method. This study uses a quantitative correlation method with Spearment analysis. All statistical calculations were carried out using the help of the SPSS version 22 Program for windows. Based on the results of the analysis, the correlation coefficient between learning motivation with self regulated learning is r = 0,523 with a significant value of 0,000 where p = < 0,05. So there is a relationship between learning motivation with self regulated learning for Arabic Laugauge and Literatur students class of 2020-2021 in online learning during the pandemic covid-19. Key words: Learning motivation, Self regulated learning, Pandemic covid-19 Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan self regulated learning mahasiswa Bahasa dan Sastra Arab angkatan 2020-2021 pada pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi covid-19. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Bahasa dan Sastra Arab angkatan 2020-2021 yang berjumlah 122 mahasiswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 94 mahasiswa. Teknik Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Cluster Random Sampling (klaster), Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasi dengan analisis Spearman. Keseluruhan perhitungan statistik dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS versi 22 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh besarnya koefisien korelasi antara motivasi belajar dengan self regulated learning sebesar r = 0,523 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 dimana p = < 0,05. Maka terdapat hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan self regulated learning mahasiswa Bahasa dan Sastra Arab angkatan 2020-2021 pada pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi Covid-19. Abstract

This study aims to determine the meaning of the sakinah family at a silver age marriage in the city of Palembang. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive method. The subjek in this study had six people; the six subjects are married couples, meaning there are three husband and wife couples. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the characteristics of sakinah family in silver age marriages are, the first; have a good communication pattern for fellow family members in other ways, namely taking time to talk together with family. The second; is that mutual respect for one another is fundamental in forming a sakinah family. The third; is openness to the family and mutual trust, establishing good communication and mutual respect for one another.

Abstract

Cognitive development in pre-school age children is an important component that is important for developing children's thinking abilities and it is needed in the next stage of development. Several factors can determine the development of children's cognition, one of which is the home environment. Home is the environment that has the greatest influence on children's development. Totsika & Sylva (2004) designed HOME (Home Observation for Measurement of The Environment Revisited) as an environmental measurement with a systematic assessment of the environment that cares about children's development. The purpose of this instrument is to measure, in a natural context, the quality, and quantity of stimulation and support available to children in the home environment. This article aims to analyze research studies regarding HOME measurement as a predictor of cognitive development in pre-school children. The method used in this research is the literature review. The factors that are identified as components of the scale and the HOME score determine how well the child's cognitive development can be stimulated. HOME scores can also mediate the relationship between parental IQ and children's IQ and show that the genetic influence exerted on the family environment is closely related to children's cognitive development.

Abstract

This article is a literature review to find out the concept of shared reading and its application in order to increase reading interest. Indonesian people's reading interest is relatively low, in order to improve literacy culture can be started by forming reading habits in children. Shared reading is a reading strategy that involves collaborative activities using books to read together. To be able to maximize the use of the shared reading method, several forms of implementation can be carried out such as the use of media and technology, making dictionaries, availability of reading materials and class setting. Shared reading can give children a pleasant experience in reading, introduce them to books, the meaning of reading and form their own reading habits.

Abstract

After individuals made an effort to live with COVID-19, the world declared that the disease was now an endemic rather than a pandemic. Numerous things are affected by this, especially education. Students in schools are permitted to participate in instructional and learning activities. However, this modification to the educational system also affected how motivated students were to learn. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the motivation of students to learn. This study used a descriptive quantitative design involving (N = 128). The findings revealed that students' levels of learning motivation fell into two categories, i.e., medium (N = 96.75%) and high (N = 32.25%) with (M = 2.84; SD = 0.276). According to a descriptive analysis, VII students had the highest levels of learning motivation, followed by VIII and IX students; and IX students is with the lowest levels. With regard to self-efficacy, intrinsic values, test anxiety, cognitive strategy utilization, and self-regulation, VII students score best on the subscale. The research findings provide teachers and school psychologists with a foundation for reference as they create educational intervention modules and programs for students in grades VIII and IX to boost their motivation for learning.

Abstract

Aim: This study aims to determine the effect of academic self-efficacy and school climate on mathematics academic achievement with achievement motivation as a mediator. The population of this research is all students at SMK Sasmita Jaya, Pamulang. The sample of this research was 410 people, and the sample was taken using a probability sampling technique with simple random sampling. Researchers used student report cards as a measure of academic achievement in mathematics according to Winkel's theory (2007), academic self-efficacy used as a measure developed by Sagone and Caroli (2014), school climate used as a measure developed by Gage et al. (2015), achievement motivation uses a measuring tool developed by McClelland (1987). Analysis of the data used in this study with the statistical technique of structural equation modeling using AMOS and to test the validity of the constructs using LISREL 8.7. Results: achievement motivation does not directly affect academic achievement in mathematics; it can be seen from the t count -454. Academic self-efficacy significantly affects mathematics achievement because the value of t arithmetic is 6,411. School climate significantly influences mathematics academic achievement with a t value of 3.234. Conclusion: The research data were analyzed using the statistical structural equation modeling technique. It concluded that there was a significant effect between academic self-efficacy and school climate on mathematics academic achievement. The results of the structural model test with achievement motivation as a mediator variable indicate that achievement motivation has an insignificant effect in moderating the effect of academic self-efficacy and school climate on mathematics academic achievement.

Abstract

Tradisi Rewang adalah sebuah tradisi yang sudah dilakukan secara turun temurun di indonesia. Tradisi ini merupakan sebuah tradisi yang diserap dari daerah Jawa. Rewang merupakan sebuah tradisi yang dilakukan dengan cara membantu keluarga yang sedang hajatan. Bantuan baik berupa tenaga maupun materi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendapatkan pemahaman bagaimana pendekatan teori psikologi sosial membahas tradisi ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tradisi Rewang dari berbagai artikel atau kajian psikologi sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literature. Langkah pertama yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dimulai dengan mencari literatur yang relevan, memilih sumber yang spesifik, identifikasi artikel, membuat outline dan menyusun kajian literature. Berdasarkan pencarian artikel, peneliti menjumpai 10 penelitian tradisi Rewang yang berkaitan dengan perspektif psikologi sosial. Berdasarkan kajian literatur yang dilakukan, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa budaya Rewang adalah bentuk dari perilaku prososial, interaksi sosial dan membentuk solidaritas antar masyarakat di suatu daerah. Motif dari seseorang mengikuti kegiatan Rewang bermacam-macam ada yang bersifat altruis ikhlas menolong, mengharapkan imbalan dan ada juga yang merasa takut akan mendapatkan sanksi sosial apabila tidak mengikuti kegiatan Rewang tersebut. Penelitian mengenai motif dan sanksi sosial dalam budaya Rewang belum dikaji lebih komperhensif, ini bisa menjadi masukan untuk penelitian mengenai budaya Rewang selanjutnya. Abstract

Every individual has different characteristics and characteristics. The characteristics and characteristics of individuals can be influenced from internal and external. Institution member who lacks ability, he cannot complete his responsibilities to the fullest. For this reason, it is necessary to pay attention to the factors that can affect the performance of members, the problem of decreased performance can be detrimental to members of the organization or employees and the company. The purpose of this study is to see whether there is a relationship between perceptions of transformational leadership and self-efficacy on performance among members of the Army. In this study using a quantitative approach to simple regression analysis with a total sample of 80 members. Obtained results that have a positive and non-significant effect between perceptions of transformational leadership and performance with self-efficacy as mediating variables β = 0.166; p = 0.189) which shows that self-efficacy is not a mediating variable between transformation leadership and performance.
