Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the crucial role of teachers in nurturing Islamic morals among students, focusing on MA Salahuddin Nangalili. Through observation, interviews, and documentation analysis, the study reveals the multifaceted roles of teachers as educators, community members, and learning managers. Results demonstrate that teachers effectively fulfill their duties and responsibilities, serving as guides and mentors in shaping students' moral development. The findings underscore the significance of integrating moral education into the structural process of educational development, emphasizing the bonded relationship between teachers and students in facilitating continuous learning and moral growth. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of Islamic education and highlights the implications for fostering moral values within educational institutions. Abstract

This research delves into the concept of entrepreneurship within Islamic principles, viewing it as a form of worship and a means to enhance the economy of Muslims. Employing a library research method, the study explores the Islamic perspective on entrepreneurship and its implications for economic development. It reveals that entrepreneurship, when aligned with Islamic law, is seen as obedience to Allah's commands and is highly recommended. Entrepreneurs, guided by Islamic values, demonstrate piety, integrity, and good service, with their actions driven by intentions to please Allah. The study underscores the significance of ethical entrepreneurship in promoting economic prosperity while adhering to religious principles.Highlights: Entrepreneurship as worship: Islam sees entrepreneurship as a form of worship, promoting economic improvement through ethical business practices. Abstract

This research explores the concept of entrepreneurship within an Islamic framework, emphasizing the integration of religious elements and values to facilitate human self-development in business endeavors. Utilizing a document/text study research method, the investigation reveals that sincere adherence to Islamic teachings imbues entrepreneurial activities with a sense of worship, fostering qualities such as trustworthiness, kindness, and service orientation. Moreover, the study highlights the significance of activating Islamic spiritual intelligence to align business practices with religious principles, asserting that entrepreneurial success hinges upon individuals possessing an entrepreneurial spirit grounded in Islamic values. The findings underscore the importance of traits such as self-confidence, initiative, and risk-taking in Islamic entrepreneurship, ultimately contributing to a deeper understanding of entrepreneurial dynamics within the Islamic context and offering guidance for Muslim entrepreneurs in navigating their ventures. Abstract

Language is a communication tool to convey one's wishes to someone else around the world with various characteristics. Arabic is the second most widely used international language, in learning it there are several obstacles that most people experience. Among them is the age factor, which affects memory when receiving lessons, health, mood, tuition fees, signals (for those who are online), distance, besides that it is also a factor in dividing time between family, study and work. In order to overcome this, supporting factors such as strong motivation during the learning process are needed. This is experienced by the ummahat Mahad Umar Bin khattab Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, their azzam to be able to return to study at a young age, the underlying motivation for the ummahat in learning Arabic is to understand the Al-Quran and translate it well, as a provision for communication, educating their children, job demands, as a filler in free time, motivating peers, and realizing the ideals of youth to study in college. Highlights: Age challenges: Memory decline, health issues, and time constraints pose hurdles for Arabic learners, especially older individuals. Motivation: Strong desire to understand the Quran, advance careers, and fulfill personal aspirations drives learners to overcome obstacles in Arabic language acquisition. Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between sense of community and performance among members of the Muhammadiyah Student Association in East Java. Employing a descriptive quantitative research method, data were collected from a population of 65 individuals using saturated sampling. Research instruments, derived from previous studies, demonstrated satisfactory validity and reliability. Results reveal a predominantly high sense of community among members, with 9.20% categorized as very high, 21.50% as high, 43.20% as medium, 20% as low, and 6.10% as very low. These findings underscore the importance of fostering a strong sense of community within groups, as it positively impacts individual and collective performance, thus offering valuable insights for community development and organizational management. Abstract

This study investigates patient perceptions of the marketing mix and its impact on loyalty at Muhammadiyah Probolinggo Mother and Child Hospital. Through quantitative analysis of questionnaire responses, the study explores the relationship between patient perceptions and loyalty, employing observational survey methods. Findings reveal that patient perceptions, particularly of service quality, place, and tariff, significantly influence loyalty. While there's a positive perception of the marketing mix overall, areas like promotion need improvement. The study underscores the importance of understanding patient perceptions to enhance loyalty and suggests strategies for hospital management to improve patient experience and foster loyalty, contributing to healthcare service quality enhancement. Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the teaching methods used by English teachers in three Muhammadiyah Junior High Schools in Pasuruan Regency to enhance students' speaking skills. Interviews and observations were conducted with one English teacher from each school. Results reveal that teachers employ a variety of methods including Communicative Language Teaching, Discussion Method, and Total Physical Response, adapting them to address specific teaching challenges and student needs. The study suggests the importance of creating engaging learning environments and utilizing diverse teaching strategies to improve students' speaking abilities, offering valuable insights for English language educators to enhance their teaching practices. Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between group cohesiveness and organizational commitment among members of the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The motivation stems from challenges related to inconsistent task completion leading to member attrition. Using a quantitative correlational approach, the study aims to address a knowledge gap regarding the association between these variables. The research sample includes 180 IMM UMSIDA members, with data collected through established scales for group cohesiveness and organizational commitment. Analysis employs Spearman's rho product moment correlation test. Findings reveal a significant positive correlation (rxy = 0.560, p < 0.05) between group cohesiveness and organizational commitment, indicating higher group cohesiveness correlates with greater organizational commitment. Group cohesiveness accounts for 29.8% of organizational commitment variance, suggesting other factors contribute to the remaining 70.2%. Limitations include single-variable focus and reliance on correlational methodology. The study underscores the importance of fostering group cohesiveness within student organizations to enhance organizational commitment. Future research should explore additional variables and expand population demographics to enrich understanding and implications for organizational dynamics. Abstract

This quantitative correlational study investigates the relationship between self-regulation and role conflict among organizational students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. Using a sample of 169 students, the research reveals a significant negative correlation (rho = -0.452, p < 0.001) between self-regulation and role conflict, indicating that higher levels of self-regulation are associated with lower perceived conflict in balancing academic and organizational roles. The implications suggest promoting self-regulation as a strategy to reduce role conflict and enhance overall well-being among organizational students, contributing to theoretical knowledge and guiding future research in understanding psychological attributes related to role conflict comprehensively. Abstract

This study explores the relationship between academic major satisfaction and academic adjustment among university students, recognizing the significance of adjustment for academic success and retention. With a focus on new students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, the research employs a quantitative correlational approach, utilizing scales to measure both major satisfaction and academic adjustment. Findings reveal a positive correlation (r = 0.531, p < 0.05) between major satisfaction and adjustment, suggesting higher satisfaction enhances adjustment. While major satisfaction contributes 25.1% to adjustment variance, other factors may influence the remaining 74.9%. The study underscores the importance of addressing major satisfaction to improve adjustment and suggests avenues for future research to expand on related variables like mental health and peer support.
