Abstract

Abstract

A Castella Steel Beam that is given a load centered in a horizontal position in the center will experience vertical deformation. This research is to analyze the flexural behavior and the effect of stress with different designs and to know the magnitude of the load acting on castella steel beams. for testing the load on castella steel beams using references from SNI and ASCE 2005. Testing is carried out with a physical model in a laboratory with a design made with the beam test method measuring 200,100.5,5.8 cm by placing the load above the intact cross section in the hope that the stress that occurs can spread throughout the cross section and strength can be higher. The same loading pattern program whose results are then compared with the analytical calculations between solid steel and castella steel. From the results of tests carried out, lateral load capacity will increase along with the increase in stress force, it can be observed the occurrence of different damage and failure mechanisms on the test object.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the value of compressive strength, split tensile, and flexural strength in high quality concrete with variations in the substitution of steel slag and nickel slag as a substitute for coarse aggregate. Concrete tests performed include compressive strength, split tensile strength, and flexural strength. The research process starts from checking the characteristics of slag, and fine aggregate then mix designs and make test specimens in the form of cylinders of 150 mm x 300 mm as many as 36 pieces and beams of 150 mmx 150 mm x 600 mm as many as 9 pieces. The results showed the substitution of steel slag and nickel slag on compressive strength, split tensile strength, and flexural strength, the greater the percentage of nickel slag, the greater the increase in compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength. Compressive strength value with 20% nickel slag substitution increased 3.347%; and for 30% nickel slag substitution increased by 4.603%. The value of split tensile strength with 20% nickel slag substitution increased by 30.137%; and for 30% nickel slag substitution increased by 46.585%. The value of flexural strength with substitution of 20% nickel slag increased 31.674%; and for 30% nickel slag substitution increased by 66.179%. The relationship between compressive strength and average tensile strength obtained in high quality concrete with nickel slag substitution 0%, 20%, 30% at 28 days is 9.3%. The relationship of compressive strength with the average flexural strength obtained in high quality concrete with nickel slag substitution of 0%, 20%, 30% at 28 days is 0.621 .

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the value of stability, VIM, VFB, MQ with substitution LGA content 0% 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5% and 15% against hard asphalt with asphalt content of 5% . The methodology in this research is to conduct a series of testing of characteristics in the form of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, fillers and asphalt and then design the composition of the mixture then make the specimen in the form of a rough HRS (HRS Base) and Marshall testing to obtain an Immersion Index (IP) / Residual Strength Index ( IKS) / Durability of the mixture using optimum asphalt content. The results of research conducted at the Road and Asphalt Laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Indonesian Christian University Paulus Makassar, showed the replacement of oil asphalt with several variants of LGA 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5% , 15% obtained the value of Stability, VIM, VFB, VMA, and MQ. The results showed that the optimum asphalt content was 10% with a Stability value of 3083.60 kg, VIM value of 0.19%, VMA of 18,602%, VFB of 67,974, MQ of 906.88 kg / mm, and immersion index (IP) of 95.21%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of signalized intersections in urban commercial areas using the MKJI 1997 method. The research location is Abdullah Daeng Sirua junction - Batua Raya Street - Jalan Taman Makam Pahlawan. The vehicles observed were classified by type, namely motorcycle, light vehicles and heavy vehicles. Based on the results of the study obtained the highest degree of saturation degree 1.4 occurred during the evening rush hour and the lowest during the afternoon rush hour of 0.8. The relationship of current to capacity, the relationship of current to the queue, and the relationship of the current to the delay at the intersection of the Abdullah Daeng Sirua road - Taman Makam Pahlawan Street - Jalan Batua Raya is directly proportional where the greater the current value, the greater the capacity, queue and delay.

Abstract

This study discusses the review of Spillway planning in the Karalloe Dam project. The spillway serves to drain excess water from the dam to avoid overtopping the dam back to the river. Three methods are used in the calculation of rainfall analysis, namely the Gumbel Method, Pearson Log Type III, and Normal Log. Design flood discharge was analyzed using the Gama-I Synthesis Unit Hydrograph Method. Spillway planning is planned based on differences in design flood discharge and Spillway lighthouse type. The results of this study obtained a design flood discharge of 613,251 m3 / sec and high energy above the lighthouse of 2,902 m using the type of round lighthouse.

Abstract

Bumi Tamalanrea Permai Housing is a residential area located in the eastern part of the city. This housing includes large-scale housing around 74 thousand inhabitants. This housing complex has a population that is heterogeneous in terms of socio-cultural, occupational and income levels. The purpose of the research is to model the trip generation of workers in the Bumi Tamanlanrea Permai (BTP) housing complex in Makassar City by taking the travel case in Blocks A, B, L and M.The results showed the characteristics of the population in BTP (Bumi Tamalanrea Pemai) housing are the number of family members, the number of motorcycle ownership, the number of car ownership, the amount of family income, the number of family members who work. The choice of workers' vehicles to take a motorcycle trip is still the most preferred choice for work. In this housing trip generation is influenced by the number of motorcycle ownership, the number of family members who work and the number of family members who attend school / college has a positive effect on the number of trip generation.

Abstract

The A. P. Pettarani elevated toll road is a project construction which is takes a long time and complex that can be create uncertainties that will eventually present a wide range of risks. The impact of these risks can affect productivity, performance, quality, and project cost budgets. The success of the construction project depends lagerly on the ability of the project manager to manage the risks involved. Risk management includes the steps involved in executing risk management planning, identification, responses, reaction, and monitoring of a project. Therefore, research was conducted to identify, analyze, and to knowing dominant risks responses, using the primary data collection method of questionnaire using the likert scale, probability x impact matrix, risk map, and interview, which is in this research have eleven dominant risk variables found in the project.
