Abstract

The city of Makassar is one of the metropolitan cities in Indonesia which has a fairly dense population, because the population is increasing rapidly, so that it has an effect on increasing congestion in the region due to the increasing need for community mobility to support goods distribution needs. social, religious and others. This study aims to find out how the side barriers and the effect of side barriers on the degree of saturation on the left and right lanes of Jalan Tamalanrea Raya Makassar starting from the front of Putra Naga Mas BTP Store to the front of Indomart BTP Blok A 24. The data used are primary and secondary data. , then data processing was carried out with reference to the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI). Based on calculations and data analysis for 3 days of observation in the study area, the highest peak traffic flow was above 1300 cur/hour. For the side obstacles that occur during peak hours on the left and right lanes are above the number of 360 incidents so that they can be classified in the medium side obstacle class, the degree of saturation of the left lane and the right lane at peak hours of traffic flow obtains a degree of saturation value of 0.51 on the right lane and 0.48 on the left lane, so it can be said that the side barriers also affect the occurrence of congestion at the location that is used as the study area.

Abstract

In bending pavements, it is necessary to know the level of durability of a concrete asphalt mixture against its durability value, for example, it is often seen in road pavements now the level of durability or durability value is minimal this is due to factors from weather such as rain, then the pavement becomes easily cracked. Therefore, the Lawaoo River stone is used in Lalabata District, which is one of the rivers in Soppeng Regency, which functions as material collection in soppeng regency itself. The use of this material is used by local communities as building construction materials because the material is used more efficiently in terms of cost. The test method carried out is the Marshall test with the intention of obtaining the Stability and Flow values used to obtain the Durability value. The average durability value at each 12-hour soaking; 24 hours; 36 hours; 48 hours; and 60 hours is 97.59%-84.70%. In terms of soaking results, it is concluded that the lowest AC-BC mixed test object from 12 hours to 36 hours is still at the durability value limit (97.59%-90.00%) and 48 hours to 60 hours has passed the minimum durability value limit (89.99%-84.70%).

Abstract

Aggregate is one of the most needed mixed materials in a pavement layer, therefore aggregate before being used in road pavement mixtures must be examined first for its characteristics, especially in mixed AC-BC concrete. Examination/testing of characteristics is carried out using the Conventional Marshall method based on the General Specifications of Highways 2018, the purpose of the test is to obtain an KAO value, then a test object is made for KAO to obtain a Residual Marshall Stability value. And the results of inspection/testing of the aggregate originating from the Messawa River, Mamasa Regency have met the specified standard specification requirements, that it can be used in the AC-BC mixture. Based on the Conventional Marshall test the Stability, VIM, Flow, VMA and VFB values obtained have met the specification standards. For the Marshall Immersion inspection, the value obtained was 95.24% with an asphalt content of 6%, where this value met the 2018 General Highways Specifications standard

Abstract

The rest of the rice farm such as rice stalks are simply thrown away and not utilized optimally while the availability is very abundant during the harvest season. Based on a study source, it is known that the main component of the cell wall in rice stems contains high silica, which is 70.8% so that this large enough content makes rice stems a potential source of silica to be used in the laston AC-BASE mixture to increase compressive power on asphalt. This research was conducted to find out how the effect of adding rice stem ash to the laston mixture by referring to the provisions of the 2018 Bina Marga. From testing using 5 variations in levels, an increase in flow values, a decrease in VMA and VIM, a significant increase in stability and VFB were obtained. All test results in this study are in accordance with the provisions of Bina Marga.
