Abstract

Clay soil is soil that has certain mineral particles in which there are particles of silt and sand and there may also be a mixture of organic matter. This type of soil has a poor soil carrying capacity where the condition of the soil does not allow for a highway construction to be built on it. Efforts need to be made to improve the condition of the soil and one of the most commonly used ways is to stabilize the soil and the soil is taken in Lambanan Village, Mamasa District, Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi then soil samples are mixed with coffee grounds with variations of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%. The tests carried out are soil moisture content, soil specific gravity, atterberg boundaries, permeability and piping tests. In permeability testing, there is a decrease in the percentage value of permeability and in piping testing there is an increase in the percentage value of piping. In this study, it was seen that the addition of waste pulp.

Abstract

Spillway serves to overflow excess water to be discharged, so that the dam can be maintainedto the maximum extent. This Study aims to determine the flood discharge and to find out the alternative of the Pamukkulu Dam Spillway planning with the Mercu Bulat Type. Regional Average rainfall is calcuted by the Thiessen Polygon method. And analysed by calculating the design rainfall using the Gumbel method, Log Pearson Type III and Log Normal. Then determine the design flood discharge with a return period of 100 years using the HSS Gama Method 1. After calculating the design discharge, the Spillway planning is carried out with the Mercu Round Type. Based on calculations using the HSS Gama 1 method , the 100-yaer return period flood discharge is 219,099 m3/s and Spillway Building is a round crest with an energy height above the crest of 1,115 m.

Abstract

Abstract

Contract Change Order (CCO) is a change to the initial contract value that commonly occurs in construction work. This study is intended to determine the causal factors and analyze the impact of the Contract Change Order (CCO) on the Makassar-Pare Pare Railway Station construction project. The method in this research is to use the SPSS method and the Relative Rank Index (RRI) method to determine the causal factors and the mean value method to analyze the impact of the Contract Change Order (CCO) on the construction of the Makassar-Pare Pare Railway Station. The results showed that there were 5 dominant factors that caused the Contract Change Order (CCO) to occur, namely the difficulty of land acquisition by the community, the demand factor from the project owner (owner) to change the initial design, place characteristics factors, physical condition factors in the field that are different from the initial conditions. time for field inspections, and force majeure factors such as the Covid-19 Pandemic and the impact it causes is an extension of the implementation time, an extension of time for the duration of work, and an increase in Overhead costs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of a mixture of coarse Stone Matrix Asphalt with the addition of used rubber, as well as to determine the effect of adding prohibited rubber to a mixture of coarse Stone Matrix Asphalt, which uses aggregates from the Sa'dan River, Sesean District, North Toraja. The method in this study is Marshall Conventional to obtain the characteristics of Coarse Asphalt Matrix Stone. The test results of characteristics, asphalt characteristics, and specific gravity of the filler meet the requirements for road pavement materials. The results of the mixed characteristics of the Coarse Asphalt Stone Matrix, namely Stability, Flow, VIM and VMA, all meet the General Specifications of Highways 2018 with a minimum limit of 90%.

Abstract

In the pavement layer temperature is very important in influencing the strength of the mixture on the asphalt. So if an asphalt mixture is not at the specified temperature, the bonds between the aggregates are reduced and will make the mixture weak. In this study, the intent and purpose was to test the mixing temperature of the AC-BC mixture using 5% asphalt. The methodology in this paper is the design of the AC-BC combination composition and also the Marshall immersion test in order to obtain the Marshall Residual Stability (SMS) value. From the research that has been done, it is obtained that the AC-BC mixture values in variations with mixing temperatures are 120℃, 130℃, 140℃, 150℃, and 160℃ with the value of Stability 1373.40, Flow 2.40 mm, VIM 3.46 %, VMA 15.27 %, FVB 77.33 %. Through a series of studies that have been carried out, it is concluded that the temperature in a mixture greatly affects the Marshall parameter value.

Abstract

CPM (Critical Path Method) is one of the most advanced network planning methods that leads to project timing decisions, and time estimation is deterministic/clear. The purpose of research using this method is to determine the time and cost of scraping and to find out which activity is one of the key activities. It also aims to control and coordinate various activities to get projects completed in the right time frame, helping companies plan and control projects in a more time- and cost-effective manner. The research was conducted by processing data obtained from observations in the field, interviews with project employees and also secondary data in the form of project time schedules. With the use of this CPM method, it produces three critical paths with 27 series of activities, 19 of which are critical and the remaining 8 are non-critical. The calculation results using the CPM method took 626 days with 207 days of non-critical activities. Based on the CPM method, it is necessary to reduce the workforce in non-critical activities by 8 workers and 15 workers. The labor reduction reduces slack and minimizes the labor costs of the project.

Abstract

The existence of Citra Sudiang Indah housing in the Biringkanaya sub-district, PAI sub-district with a population of 17,177 people, as a land use will result in traffic generation. The trips generated by these residential families will increase along with the increase in income, increase in the number of family members, and choice of vehicle. The purpose of this research is (1) determine the characteristics of the population in the Citra Sudiang Indah housing estate. (2) find out the movement generation model in Citra Sudiang Indah housing estate. Using SPSS 28.0 . multiple linear regression method. Data collection using questionnaires and interviews (in-depth interviews) to collect research samples. This data collection was carried out to determine the characteristics of the population or household related to the number of motorcycle ownership, the number of private car ownership, the number of working families and the number of families attending school/college, the number of family members and the average household income. The results of the study indicate that motorcycle ownership, private car ownership, and the number of working families are variables that have a significant influence on population travel generation in the Citra Sudiang Indah housing estate. This can be seen in the multiple linear regression equation model, namely:Y = 0.585 + 0.311 X2 + 0.301 X3 + 0.411 X5
