Abstract

Accounting fraud often occurs and increases in several countries and organizations. The deviant action in financial statements is one of the accounting fraudulent actions. The impact and consequences of accounting fraud cannot be avoided and microfinance institution will suffer losses due to this action. This study aims to examine and obtain empirical evidence of the effectivity of internal control effectiveness, information asymmetry, compliance with accounting rules and management morality towards accounting fraudulent tendencies in Rural Credit Institutions (LPD) in Denpasar City. Data is obtained by giving questionnaires to the leadership and accounting staff at the Rural Credit Institution (LPD) in Denpasar City. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling method. The sample in this study were 70 respondents. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. The data obtained were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Science (SPSS) program. The results showed that the effectiveness of internal control and management morality had a negative effect on accounting fraud tendencies. While information asymmetry and compliance with accounting rules do not affect the tendency of accounting fraud.

Abstract

Company value was a picture of a company in certain condition that they want to achieve as a form of trust from people to the company. The long term goals that they have when they start a company was to increase the value of the company, and to increase the prosperity of their owner and stakeholder. The higher the price of a stock company, shows that the higher profit that the stakeholder gets, and shows the value of a company is rising. In this research value of company can proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV) This study aims to determine the Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility and Intellectual Capital on the Value of Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2015-2017. The total sample of this study is 204 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. Determination of samples using purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis. The results of this study indicate that the variables of Corporate Social Responsibility and Intellectual Capital have a positive effect on firm value (PBV).

Abstract

Cost, quality and time are an important performance indicators in the project success. To achieve these objectives various risks are faced in each project life cycle. One of these risks is supply chain risk, which must be managed properly, doe to the uncertainty in this activity. There are still many companies that do not understand the importance of supply chains, so they often become obstacles in achieving project goals This study aims to identify risk factors in each stage of supply chain activities, in road infrastructure in Bali Province. Data were collected from questionnaire survey, interviews and focus group discussion from 15 units asphalt mixing plant supplier in Bali, who understand supply chain issues, especially in road infrastructure work in the province of Bali. The results of research on risk is firstly AMP production processes identified as a field of manufacturing industry that produces hot asphalt used in infrastructure projects in Bali. This research was conducted at the AMP unit found in Bali. From research, the production process and AMP business are based on Supply, Input, Process, Output and Customer activities. (SIPOC). After the activities contained in the Asphalt production process, it is known that further risks can be identified. Second identity the risk on SIPOC process.

Abstract

KFC or also known as Kentucky Fried Chicken is one of the most leading fast food restaurants around the world. KFC that originally from America has thrived around the world including Malaysia and Kuwait. Although it is an advanced company, it still has some sensitive internal issues that will cause problems to the company. If this problem is not carefully and wisely deal with, it will drop the company name and bring a negative impact to everyone that involved in the company. In this research, we examine the issues in an organization and KFC is the subject of our study. KFC has been in a bad mood for the past few years. Many of the customers complaint about the services and the attitudes of the employee in the restaurant. In Jan 2015, a case of brawl between KFC employees and customers was viral in social media and there also a case where KFC employees show pornographic signs to customers. This shows the attitude and the behavior of KFC employees who do not adhere to ethics and are not prudent will affect the good name of a company. Employees issues in KFC is the best topic to be discuss in this study. There lot of problem that face by KFC in term of employees such as lack of manpower in their branches. If compare from our observation, there a huge difference between the number of workers in KFC and its competitor, Mc Donald. Therefore, we can see that Mc Donald is more efficient than KFC although KFC has lower cost for their human resource.

Abstract

This study uses three dimensions of financial literacy, namely financial knowledge, financial behavioral and financial attitude. This study examines the effect of financial literacy on investment decision behavior. This research takes data from entrepreneurs in Bali, Indonesia. Bali has an entrepreneurial ratio to population that is higher than the national average. The regression results show (1) financial knowledge does not affect investment decision making, (2) financial behavior does not affect investment decision making, (3) financial attitude has a positive effect on investment decision making. These results indicate that the financial knowledge and how someone behaves about finance does not have an impact on investment decisions as an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs in our sample may become an entrepreneur even though does not have sufficient financial knowledge and has not shown good financial management behavior.

Abstract

This study aims at finding out the actual condition of community empowerment activity and improvement of productive economic activities through village funds financing and gaining information on Village Funds management to increase productive economy in the village level. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach using Milles and Huberman as its method of analysis. This study finds that village funds financing is able to improve people’s welfare. This is evident from various achievement of the government of Bone Bolango regency. The success of this village funds in improving people’s welfare has made the central government to increase the village allocation funds for this regency annually. This village allocation fund is distributed through two channels: 1) direct disbursement for productive economic activities (grant), (2) fund disbursement for productive economic activity through Village Owned Enterprise (Hereinafter will be referred as BUMDes). To optimize this village funds management, several strategic steps such as: 1) increasing the capacity of village institution; 2). Establishment of Business Units as a joint working group needs to be done.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of green product and social media marketing on purchasing decisions. Environmental problems become one of the considerations for consumers to start using a green product. While social media marketing is a means for companies to who participate in social media so that later it will produce purchasing decisions. This is a study on Sensatia Botanical products. In this study using a nonprobability sampling method with a number of 100 respondents. This study found that green products have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with the regression value of the green product variable is 0.614. Whereas social media marketing does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of work engagement and self-efficacy on credit analyst’s job burnout. Job burnout is one aspect that influence negligence in analyze a credit application. Job burnout is a condition with emotional fatigue, physical fatigue, and lack of energy which can cause a person's low performance. BRI is the largest profit bank in Indonesian banking industry and always grows up to 2017. High number of debtors and credit applications can also increase the workload and job burnout for the analyst. Job burnout can be minimized by a high work engagement between workers and their job. Work engagement is a condition when worker easier to manage work relationship and manage stress on work pressure. Selfefficacy also will prevent job burnout. Person with high self-efficacy has a good competence to face challenges in their workplace. This study used primary data source collected by questionnaire technique. Respondents in this study were credit analysts at Bank Rakyat Indonesia Renon Branch Office. Hypothesis was tested by using multiple linear regression analysis. The result showed that work engagement and self-efficacy had a negative and significant effect on job burnout of credit analyst.

Abstract

The present study attempts to determine the role of organizational commitment mediating organizational climate with turnover intention in Pizza Hut Denpasar, Bali. A company has to concern about turnover intention because it can create instability and uncertainty about employee conditions, as well as increased recruitment cost. Therefore a company is required to be able to retain employees by understanding things that are able to make employees loyal to the company. This study was conducted with a sample of 55 employees in Pizza Hut Denpasar Bali using the questionnaires with Likert Scale to conclude result that found. This study found that organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational climate has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, organizational commitment has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, and organizational commitment partially mediating organizational climate on turnover intention. Employees will have a high commitment to the company if a good organizational climate is created. A high commitment can reduce intention to leave. Future studies might be more do research about turnover intention from different antecedents. Managers need to develop strategic human resources practice to recruit some potential employees and keep spirit for decresing turnover rate.

Customers in choosing products will choose based on what is most needed and what is most suitable for them. Purchasing decisions can be influenced by various factors including green marketing, brand awareness and price perception. The purposes of this study are analyzing the effect green marketing, brand awareness, price perceptions on purchase decisions. The sample used in this study as many as 90 respondents were determined by purposive sampling. The data analyzed using multiple linear regression The results of this study are green marketing, brand awareness, price perceptions have a positive effect on purchase decisions
