Abstract

The study investigates the relationship between the proportion of female directors on corporate boards and firm performance, with innovation serving as a mediating variable. Previous research has revealed inconsistencies between those variables. Therefore, this study investigates whether there is a direct and indirect effect of the proportion of female directors on firm performance, which is innovation as a mediating variable. To measure the variables studied, this study also employs quantitative data types and secondary data sources from 55 companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2021. Using the Partial Least Square method, the following findings were obtained: (1) The proportion of women on the board of directors has no direct impact on firm performance. (2) Female on board of directors has a positive significant impact on innovation, (3) This research shows a positive significant relationship between innovation and firm performance, and (4) The results also show full mediation of innovation on the impact of proportion of female on board of directors on firm performance. Since it is being conducted in Indonesia, it may differ in other countries, and further research such as using the difference mediating variables and indicators to influence the study's results is strongly advised. Keywords: Female Directors, Firm Performance, Innovation, Partial Least Squares, Indonesia Stock Exchange

Customers play a vital role in business success and cannot be ignored. Since customers are the primary driver behind the founding of a firm, competitors will strive to win over new clients. Many businesses are looking for ways to retain their regular customers due to their propensity to repurchase the products the business sells. The development of lifestyle regarding facial care / skincare has resulted in many new businesses in the beauty sector, giving rise to competition between businesses. This study aims to investigate the effects of membership programs, omnichannel strategies and digital marketing on repurchase intention on Sociolla Bali. This study employs multiple linear analysis methods using SPSS 26, the findings show that (1) membership programs have a positive influence on repurchase intention; (2) omnichannel strategy has a positive effect on repurchase intention; and (3) digital marketing has a positive effect on repurchase intention. This means that the better the membership program, omnichannel strategy and digital marketing at PT. Abstract

The decision-making process in a company should be based on a strong foundation. A robust decision-making basis is reflected in a methodology that can be accountable, especially in complex cases. Decision-making involving diverse criteria requires a proper methodology to achieve accurate results. Such issues often occur in small or micro-enterprises (SMEs). This study focused on plywood processing companies. The issue at hand was the absence of a standardized method for determining the purchase of production equipment. Therefore, a systematic decision-making tool becomes crucial to reduce the subjectivity among stakeholders. The most crucial production tool in the plywood industry is the press machine. The implementation of Fuzzy TOPSIS successfully provided an objective recommendation. These recommendations are in the form of rankings that inform the highest to lowest recommendations. The Cold Press Machine AKS - IR50T obtained the highest Cci value of 0.75, which can serve as the basis for decision-making in purchasing production equipment.

Abstract

This research aims to provide empirical evidence on the effects of external pressure and institutional leadership on the utilization of local government performance reports. The hypothesis is built based on institutional theory, especially isomorphism pressure using coercive pressure shown in external pressure and Giddens' structuration theory using the concept of institutional leadership which is thought to influence the process of organizing performance measurement, namely the use of local government performance reports. Data collection and processing was carried out by conducting surveys by handing out questionnaires directly to all Papua Province government work units. The sample of respondents is state civil servants who have a role in preparing performance reports in each agency. The data analysis method uses Partial Least Square (PLS). The results, quite surprisingly, show that the external pressure variable has a significant negative effect on the use of local government performance reports and institutional leadership does not have a significant effect on the use of local government performance reports. The discussion will be reviewed in depth by paying attention to the latest conditions in Papua to try to understand the results of this research.

Abstract

Indonesia boasts the world's fourth-highest coffee consumption, with demand steadily rising. Interestingly, nearly 25% of coffee drinkers are social drinkers, which means they enjoy coffee primarily when catching up with friends at cafes. However, the coffee shop market is saturated, leading to fierce competition among coffee shops struggling to retain customers. Loyalty is scarce, with most customers flitting between cafes. We explore whether customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between sensory marketing and loyalty. Existing research suggests a link between sensory marketing, customer satisfaction, and ultimately, customer loyalty. This study aims to analyze and test this connection within the Indonesian coffee shop landscape. This research focuses on loyal customers of the chosen cafes, targeting those who have visited more than once. The method used in this study is quantitative with the technique of distributing questionnaires, then the results will be calculated using SMART PLS ver. 3.9 accompanied by descriptive analysis for explanation.

The analysis techniques used in this research are Shift Share analysis, Location Quotient (LQ), Klassen Typology, Scalogram analysis, and supported by literature studies. The results showed that the fisheries sector is a potential sector to be developed. The sub-sector that becomes the leading sector in the fisheries sector is marine fisheries. Then, the sub-sector of inland water, brackish water pond, and freshwater pond becomes a potential sub-sector. Meanwhile, cages and floating cage net are the underdeveloped sub-sector in the fisheries sector. Each district has different potential in the fisheries sector.
