Furthermore, the data will be analyzed with descriptive statistical tests, and Instrumental Variable (IV) logit, and Endogenous Switching Regression. The results showed that the variables that had no significant effect on fishermen's credit access were experience and ship size. Meanwhile, the variables of age, education, and fisherman group have a significant influence on fishermen's credit access. The impact on welfare shows that households that have access to formal credit have higher incomes by 33.8% to 44.4% compared to households that do not have access to formal credit. Abstract

The goal of this study is to look at the value chain for strategic agricultural commodities in East Java and optimize the supply chain. Input-output analysis, supply chain descriptive analysis, institutional pattern analysis, trading margin analysis, value chain analysis, root cause analysis, and the Analytical Hierarchy Process are among the analytical methods used. According to the findings of this study, sugar cane, cayenne pepper, and corn are three strategic agricultural commodities in East Java with a relatively long supply chain. However, the study discovered that among other supply chain actors, farmers and breeders have the lowest price margins, while collectors and wholesalers have the highest. This implies that there may be opportunities to improve the supply chain for these commodities by addressing the problems that farmers and breeders face.

Abstract

The services sector is a very important one which has the largest percentage of informal entrepreneurs compared to other sectors in Indonesia. However, this sector experienced the most significant decrease in welfare due to the pandemic attack in 2020. Using the 2020 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) data, this study aims to link the role of internet use, which was highly developed during the pandemic, to increasing the welfare of informal entrepreneurs in the services sector. Based on the results of binary logistic regression, (1) The use of the internet, especially for the purpose of transaction activities, has the greatest influence in supporting the welfare of informal services sector entrepreneurs, and (2) Opportunities to obtain higher welfare are owned by male entrepreneurs, with ever-married status, are more educated, have white-collar and gray-collar types of work, have skills, and live in areas with better infrastructure. Therefore, it is necessary to have a program to increase digital literacy, especially in activities that support business activities which can be carried out through training or mentoring, especially for services sector entrepreneurs who have a lower level of education, are less skilled, and for areas with a lower level of infrastructure.
