Due to the Covid-19 pandemic conditions from 2020 to 2022, many companies, including multinational corporations, experiencing financial difficulties tend to be more aggressive in tax avoidance to sustain the future viability of the company. On the other hand, companies also utilize transfer pricing mechanisms to avoid high tax payments. This research aims to examine the influence of financial distress and transfer pricing on tax avoidance in multinational companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2022 period. Multiple regression analysis is used to analyze the data collected from a sample of 122 multinational companies listed on the IDX. The research results indicate that financial distress has a positive influence, while transfer pricing has a negative influence on tax avoidance in multinational companies listed on the IDX. Therefore, multinational companies in Indonesia need to consider these factors in managing their tax and financial risks. The implications of these research findings suggest that multinational companies in Indonesia need to consider these factors in managing their tax and financial risks.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a literature review of the relationship between auditees and auditors in public sector performance audits based on their roles. Some of the research used in the literature review is research in various countries in Europe and Asia, America, Australia, and New Zealand and is indexed by Scopus through Scimago Journal & Country Rank. Several studies have found that the relationship is not always good. In a cooperative relationship, the auditor requires the auditee's cooperation but at the same time maintains objectivity. Although collaboration can improve audit results, it endangers and hinders auditor independence. Non-cooperative relationships within certain limits make the auditor take strategic actions to influence and control the auditee. This research has limitations because it generally discusses the relationship between auditees and auditors, and does not specifically use research with certain studies such as legitimacy theory or power frameworks, so this research has weaknesses in the focus of studies regarding the relationship between auditees and auditors

Food has always been a strategic topic in development at both the global and national levels, because fulfilling food is a right for every citizen whose quantity and quality must be guaranteed in a safe and nutritious manner. The main problem in realizing food security in Indonesia today is related to the growth in demand for food which is faster than the growth in supply. This research aims to find out the influence of food security determinants in the provinces of Java and Sumatra Islands in 2019-2022. By using secondary data and panel regression,Fixed Effect Model is the best model chosen to be used in this research. Partially, rice land productivity, population and agricultural labor have a significant effect on food security in the provinces of Java and Sumatra Islands. Together or simultaneously the variables of rice land productivity, population and agricultural labor have an influence on food security. There is a need for efforts and an active role from the government and society in optimizing the implementation of policies related to the protection of agriculture and human resources in order to maintain sustainable food security.
