Abstract

Ecological pressures demand that the public sector integrate sustainability into employee performance, but the underlying psychological mechanisms are still limited. This study examines the effect of Green OCB and Green Transformational Leadership (GTL) on Employee Performance through Green Work Engagement (GWE) as a mediator. A quantitative study on employees of the Environmental Agency used PLS-SEM analysis with SmartPLS and bootstrapping. The results showed that Green OCB and GTL had a significant positive effect on employee performance directly and on GWE. GWE also had a significant effect on performance, but the indirect effect through GWE was not significant, indicating that GWE did not mediate the relationship. It was concluded that voluntary pro-environmental behavior and green leadership improve employee performance directly without requiring GWE mediation, so direct implementation of sustainability values in the work practices of public organizations is important

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation, training, and ability on employee performance at PT Pacific Eastern Coconut Utama (PECU) Pangandaran. This research applied a quantitative method with a descriptive analytical approach to provide an accurate representation of the relationships between variables. The population consisted of 715 employees, with a sample size of 103 respondents determined using the Slovin formula at a 10% significance level. Primary data were collected through questionnaires, field observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression assisted by SPSS software, which included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination analysis. The results indicated that motivation, training, and ability partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, these three variables also significantly influenced employee performance in achieving the company's operational targets. The coefficient of determination showed that motivation, training, and ability contributed 73.2% to employee performance, while the remaining 26.8% was influenced by other factors outside the research model. Therefore, enhancing motivation, development through training, and strengthening employee capabilities are essential to optimizing overall organizational performance. Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the 2025 MSME Fest Program organized by the Bima City Office of Industry and Trade (DISKOPPERINDAG) for culinary entrepreneurs, by integrating the Social Return on Investment (SROI) approach and an Islamic economic perspective. The background is based on the crucial role of MSMEs in the local economy, although they are still constrained by market access, capital, and managerial capabilities. The research method uses a mixed method approach with a sequential explanatory design, where quantitative analysis is conducted to measure changes in income and employment, while qualitative analysis is used to interpret the results based on Islamic economic principles. The study population consisted of 120 participants, with a focus on 80 MSMEs in the culinary sector. The results showed an average increase in income of Rp 7,126,875 and an average additional workforce of 0.86 people per business after the program. The SROI ratio reached 3.46, which means that every Rp 1 investment produces 3.46 economic benefits. Furthermore, interviews with business actors also indicated that the program aligns with the principles of justice ( 'adl), cooperation ( ta'awun) , benefit (maslahah) , and welfare (falah) . The results reinforce that combining SROI with Islamic economics yields a comprehensive analysis and provides practical applications for strengthening sustainable MSME empowerment policies

Abstract

This study is motivated by the rapid digitalization of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, particularly through online ordering platforms, delivery services, social media, and digital payment systems such as QRIS. However, digital adoption does not always improve business performance, especially among food stall MSMEs that still face challenges such as declining profit margins, platform dependency, and limited internal readiness. This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Capability, Digital Transformation, and Digital Innovation on the Business Performance of food stall MSMEs in South Tangerang City. This research used a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The sample consisted of food stall owners or managers who had operated for at least one year, adopted digital technology, and were directly involved in business decision-making. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS. The results show that Digital Capability has a positive and significant effect on Business Performance, with a path coefficient of 0.242 and a P-value of 0.042. Digital Transformation has the strongest effect, with a path coefficient of 0.356 and a P-value of 0.005. Digital Innovation also has a positive and significant effect, with a path coefficient of 0.242 and a P-value of 0.026. The R² value of 0.564 indicates that the three variables explain 56.4% of the variation in Business Performance. Therefore, this study concludes that improving MSME performance requires digital capability, business process transformation, and sustainable digital innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Local Revenue (PAD), Transfer Funds, and Capital Expenditures on the economic growth rate of regencies and cities in West Nusa Tenggara Province from 2016 to 2024, taking into account regional differences based on the presence of mining and tourism activities. This study uses secondary quantitative data in the form of panel data consisting of time-series and cross-sectional data from 10 districts/cities in West Nusa Tenggara. The analysis method employed is panel data regression using the Common Effect Model (CEM) approach with Stata software. The results indicate that, individually, PAD and Transfer Funds have a positive and significant effect on economic growth, while Capital Expenditures have a negative and significant effect. The dummy variables for mining and tourism regions do not have a significant effect on economic growth. Simultaneously, all independent variables have a significant effect on economic growth; however, the model’s ability to explain variations in economic growth remains relatively low. This finding indicates that the economic growth of regencies/cities in NTB Province is not only driven by fiscal variables, but there is also the potential influence of factors outside the research model.

Abstract

Despite the growing global demand for Muslim-friendly tourism and Indonesia's strategic role in this sector, many local tourist destinations still lack a systematic assessment of their readiness to offer sharia-compliant experiences. This study addresses this gap by analyzing the sharia tourism potential of the Taman Pertiwi Tourism Area in Pendung Talang Genting Village. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the extent to which the site's products and services align with sharia principles and international criteria such as those set by GMTI and MUI. A qualitative case study method was employed, drawing on primary data from in-depth interviews and direct observations involving site managers, local community members, and visitors, supplemented by secondary data. The main findings reveal that Taman Pertiwi has generated positive socio-economic impacts, including job creation, support for small and micro enterprises, and an environment free from vice, while offering a tranquil nature-based experience consistent with sharia values. However, significant limitations remain: poor accessibility for visitors with special needs, substandard prayer facilities with unclean ablution areas and toilets, and a complete absence of official MUI halal certification for processed local culinary products. The contribution of these findings lies in providing an evidence-based roadmap for infrastructure improvements and formalization of sharia standards, thereby helping transform Taman Pertiwi into a leading sharia-compliant destination and offering a replicable assessment framework for similar sites in other regions.

Abstract

Women's empowerment is an important step in creating equitable and sustainable development. Women not only play a role within the family sphere, but also have a significant contribution in the fields of education, economics, social affairs, and national development to demonstrate their capacity and potential as human resources capable of driving economic growth and improving community welfare. This study aims to examine the effect of Expected Years of Schooling and the Gini Index on the Human Development Index (HDI) of Women in Banten Province for the period 2020–2025. Women's human development is an important indicator in measuring the quality of life of women through aspects of education, health, and economic welfare. Expected Years of Schooling reflects women's access to education, while the Gini Index illustrates the level of income inequality in society. This study uses a quantitative approach with time series data for the period 2020–2025 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with the help of the E-Views application. The results show that Expected Years of Schooling has a positive and significant effect on the HDI of Women with a coefficient value of 6.225901 and a probability of 0.039 0 <0.05. Meanwhile, the Gini Index has a negative and significant effect on the Female Human Development Index with a coefficient value of -47.10225 and a probability of 0.0464 < 0.05. Simultaneously, Expected Years of Schooling and the Gini Index have a significant effect on the Female Human Development Index with an F-statistic probability value of 0.018708 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) value of 0.929528 indicates that 92.95% of the variation in the Female Human Development Index can be explained by the Expected Years of Schooling and the Gini Index variables, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the study. Increasing access to women's education and reducing income inequality are important factors in improving the quality of women's human development in Banten Province.
