Abstract

The development of a creative economy based on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) weaving in Sangiang Village, Wera District, plays a strategic role in increasing local community income. However, the problems faced lie in suboptimal business management, limited product innovation, and weak marketing access, which impacts the low competitiveness of woven products. This study aims to examine in-depth efforts to develop a creative economy through MSMEs weaving as a strategy to increase community income. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, through data collection techniques such as observation, interviews with MSMEs and the community, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out systematically through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the development of the creative economy through MSMEs weaving has been ongoing, but is not yet optimal and sustainable. The main weaknesses lie in aspects of design innovation, the use of digital marketing technology, and increasing human resource capacity. Therefore, the necessary strategies include strengthening product creativity based on local wisdom, improving business actors' skills, expanding marketing networks, and government support in the form of training and facilitating market access. In conclusion, the development of the creative economy through targeted and sustainable weaving MSMEs can increase community income while strengthening the local cultural identity of Sangiang Village.

Abstract

The global discourse on sustainable development increasingly emphasizes Inclusive Green Growth (IGG), which integrates economic performance, social equity, and environmental sustainability. Among developing countries, China and India are two major growth engines within the BRICS group, yet their development trajectories show different patterns in balancing expansion with sustainability. China’s rapid industrialization and technological advancement were accompanied by significant environmental pressures in the pre-pandemic era, whereas India’s growth has been relatively more gradual and balanced, with social challenges and lower per capita emissions. Comparative literature on inclusive green growth between China and India using a multidimensional framework remains limited. Therefore, this study constructs and compares the Inclusive Green Growth Index (IGGI) for China and India by incorporating indicators across three pillars: economic performance, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. The Balanced Inclusive Green Growth Index (BIGGI) is also employed to evaluate equity across these pillars. Robustness testing is conducted using Shannon entropy. This study provides empirical insights into the comparative dynamics of inclusive green growth and highlights structural differences in the development pathways of the two countries.

Abstract

The increasing number of workshop businesses in Bima City has triggered increasingly competitive competition, so that service quality is the main determinant in retaining customers. The problem in this study lies in the lack of optimal implementation of service quality at PT. Diamond Light, which has an impact on fluctuations in customer satisfaction and loyalty levels. This study aims to examine in depth the strategy of implementing Service Quality (SERVQUAL) in increasing the competitiveness of the workshop business. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, through data collection techniques in the form of field observations, interviews with management and customers, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out systematically through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the five dimensions of SERVQUAL tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy have been implemented, but have not been carried out consistently and comprehensively. The main weakness is seen in the aspect of responsiveness and attention to customer needs. Therefore, the necessary strategies include improving the professionalism of human resources, improving facilities and infrastructure, accelerating services, and strengthening more responsive and personalized communication. In conclusion, the targeted and sustainable implementation of SERVQUAL can strengthen customer satisfaction and directly increase the competitiveness of PT. Berdiamond Cahaya in the midst of dynamic workshop business competition

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the welfare of MSME traders in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK Mandalika), Pujut District, from the perspective of Islamic economics using the maqashid sharia approach. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation, and were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings show that MSME traders operate diverse types of businesses with relatively simple management systems, and their marketing activities are still predominantly based on direct sales. The existence of the tourism area provides added value for MSME traders, although its potential has not yet been fully optimized. In addition, MSME development is supported by ITDC through coaching, training, access to capital, and market expansion, although these efforts have not been evenly distributed. Traders’ income is generally fluctuating but remains above the poverty line. Through the maqashid sharia approach, in the aspect of preservation of religion (hifz al-din), traders perform obligatory worship such as prayer, fasting, and zakat, supported by available worship facilities and the surrounding environment. However, prayers are not always performed on time, not all traders are actively involved in religious activities, and acts of worship such as Hajj, Umrah, and Qurban have not yet been performed. In the aspect of preservation of life (hifz al-nafs), traders strive to fulfill household needs, but attention to diet, health, and environmental cleanliness remains limited. In terms of preservation of intellect (hifz al-‘aql), children’s education is prioritized, although self-development remains limited. Regarding the preservation of lineage (hifz al-nasl), children’s needs and education have been fulfilled, but supervision and guidance still need improvement. In the aspect of preservation of wealth (hifz al-mal), traders have made efforts to act honestly, give charity, and save money; however, the use of conventional banking, limited understanding of riba, and practices such as price differentiation and persuasive selling methods that tend to be coercive are still found. Overall, MSME traders in KEK Mandalika are economically able to meet their basic needs; however, from the perspective of Islamic economics through the maqashid sharia approach, their welfare has not yet been fully achieved due to several suboptimal aspects

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of Islamic financial literacy and examine the influence of financial socialization, money attitude, religiosity, and income on Islamic financial literacy among Muslim students in Mataram City. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consists of Muslim students enrolled in public universities in Mataram City, with a sample of 150 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings indicate that the level of Islamic financial literacy among students is relatively high, with most respondents categorized as well literate and sufficiently literate. The results of hypothesis testing show that financial socialization, money attitude, and religiosity have a positive and significant effect on Islamic financial literacy, with financial socialization emerging as the most influential factor. Meanwhile, income has a positive but insignificant effect. These findings suggest that Islamic financial literacy is influenced more by non-economic factors, particularly social learning processes, individuals’ attitudes toward money, and the internalization of religious values, rather than by economic capacity. This study provides important implications for universities, families, and relevant stakeholders to strengthen Islamic financial education and socialization through value-based and socially oriented approaches

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic financial literacy and risk perception on students’ financial management behavior in using e-wallets, with self-control as a mediating variable. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 145 students. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that Islamic financial literacy and self-control have a significant effect on financial management behavior, while risk perception does not have a direct effect. However, risk perception significantly influences self-control. Furthermore, self-control partially mediates the relationship between Islamic financial literacy and financial behavior, and fully mediates the relationship between risk perception and financial behavior. These findings suggest that students’ financial behavior in the digital context is not solely influenced by cognitive factors but is also strongly determined by self-control in managing the ease of e-wallet transactions. This study implies that improving financial literacy must be accompanied by strengthening self-control to promote more rational and sustainable financial management behavior in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the partnership pattern among government, private sector, and community in the development of Tambora Geopark and its implications for local economic development. This research employed a qualitative approach using descriptive-analytical methods. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model through open coding, axial coding, and selective coding stages. The findings reveal that the partnership pattern in the development of Tambora Geopark tends to be hierarchical (subordinate partnership), with the government acting as the dominant actor in decision-making processes. The involvement of the private sector and local communities remains limited to program implementation and has not substantially reached planning and policy evaluation stages. Supporting factors include regulatory support and regional government commitment, while inhibiting factors include local social conflicts, limited infrastructure, low human resource capacity, and dependency on government intervention. The economic impacts of the geopark development have been reflected in the growth of MSMEs and tourism services; however, these impacts remain seasonal and have not generated sustainable multiplier effects

Abstract

Digital transformation in the tourism sector is driving the development of technology-based religious tourism as part of efforts to increase destination competitiveness. However, the implementation of digitalization in religious tourism in the regions still faces limitations, not only in infrastructure and community capacity, but also in governance, coordination between stakeholders, and integration with the local economy. This study aims to analyze the governance of digital-based religious tourism in Gorontalo Regency through the integration of smart tourism, the creative economy, and local wisdom in strengthening the community's economic sustainability. This study used a mixed methods approach with data collected through in-depth interviews, a survey of 210 respondents, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). The results indicate that smart tourism readiness is still in the low to moderate category, characterized by the low quality of digital promotion, the condition of facilities, and coordination between stakeholders. Local wisdom has relatively strong potential, but has not been optimally integrated with the creative economy and digital systems. This study produces an integrative governance model that emphasizes the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration, strengthening the role of the community, and preserving cultural values in the development of inclusive and sustainable religious tourism

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) and Green Transformational Leadership (GTL) on Environmental Performance (EP) with Green Innovation (GI) as an intervening variable on employees of the Environmental Service of Lebak Regency, Banten Province. The study applies a quantitative approach with an explanatory research method and uses the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis technique. The number of samples in this study was 121 respondents selected through probability sampling techniques with a simple random sampling method. The results show that GHRM, GTL, and GI have a positive and significant influence on Environmental Performance. In addition, GHRM and GTL are also proven to have a positive and significant influence on Green Innovation. However, Green Innovation has not been able to significantly mediate the relationship between GHRM and GTL on Environmental Performance. These findings indicate that improving organizational environmental performance is more optimally achieved through direct strengthening of GHRM practices and the implementation of green transformational leadership rather than through green innovation as an intermediary variable. This research is expected to contribute to the development of sustainability management studies, especially in the public sector, as well as serve as a reference for organizations in developing strategies to improve sustainable environmental performance.

Abstract

This discussion aims to examine the influence of Green Leadership on Green Human Resource Management by considering Employee Green Behavior as an intervening variable at the Lebak Regency Environmental Service. The approach used is quantitative through a survey method by distributingquestionnaires to 121 respondentsselectedusinga simple randomsampling technique . Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 3 to test the relationship betweenvariablessimultaneously. The results of the study indicate that GreenLeadershiphas a positive and significant effect on Employee Green Behavior and Green Human Resource Management . However, Employee Green Behavior doesnot have a significant effect on Green Human Resource Management . In addition, this variable is also unable to mediatethe relationshipbetweenGreen Leadership and Green Human Resource Management . This finding confirms that in public sector organizations, the role of leadership is more dominant in encouraging the implementation of environmental-based human resource management practices than through individual employee behavior
