Abstract

In the digital age, the use of information technology is felt in almost all areas such as healthcare, banking, culture and education. In the world of education, the application of information technology is indispensable both in teaching and learning activities and in student assessment. In the assessment of exams on campus, exams are generally used in which professors distribute test questions and students answer questions posed by lectures on a piece of paper has been provided. With regular exams, this often causes problems such as lectures being behind in grading report cards because teachers have to correct each student's answer. Exam Information System is a web-based online system that can help provide solutions to problems related to student assessment. In creating web-based test information system using waterfall approach including analysis, design, coding and testing along with entity relationship diagrams in database design. With the existence of a web-based exam information system, teachers can more easily process valuable student data to generate valuable reports more efficiently and effectively more fruitful. Abstract

The grounding system is very important in a building electrical installation. The socket is an electrical installation component that functions as a power supply line to electronic equipment which in the PUIL 2000 rules must be connected to the building grounding system. As the installation age of a building increases, the grounding system will degrade. In this research, a grounding detector has been made at the socket to determine whether the socket is connected to the grounding system. In this tool there is a plug-shaped component that is mounted on a socket. From the test results, the tool can detect the voltage, leakage current and ground connectivity detection which is displayed on the LCD screen. The optocoupler sensor installed around the wheel can read the wheel rotation well so that the distance measurement data between the outlets has a good accuracy rate approaching 100%, namely 99.26%. The Arduino Mega 2560 Pro microcontroller manages the overall measurement data results and transfers the data to the memory card. The duration of use of this tool can be up to 10 hours, which is quite a long time to be used for the purpose of checking the grounding condition of a building with this tool.

Abstract

PLN has implemented a lot of Substation Automation Systems (SAS), especially at new substations or extension new bays to conventional substations. The Implementation of SAA cannot be separated from the IEC 61850 protocol which is a standard protocol in SAS. One of the important communications in the IEC 61850 protocol is GOOSE (Generic Object Oriented Substation Event). In GOOSE known GOOSE publisher and GOOSE subscriber. The steps taken in this research are literature review, configuration of GOOSE publisher, GOOSE subscriber, and testing. Based on the results of the testing that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the GOOSE publisher (Scheneider protection IED type P141) can send data to the ethernet network (IEC 61850) and the GOOSE subscriber (Siemens IED controller/BCU type 7SJ642) can receive data from GOOSE publisher. This GOOSE can be implemented on IEDs that both support IEC 61850 even though they are from different brands/manufacturers. For its implementation in the field, GOOSE can be used for interlocking, tripping, blocking and others, where this GOOSE replaces the hardwire. With the implementation of GOOSE on the Substation Automation System, it is expected to reduce the costs and time for hardwire installation.

Abstract

Universitas Bangka Belitung has a solar power plant as an alternative energy source, some of which function as an energy source for garden lights. Garden lighting using led lights is an alternative to illuminating the Universitas Bangka Belitung.     In an effort to overcome deficiencies in manual monitoring, innovation is needed in controlling solar garden lights using the Internet of Things (IoT). From the measurement results on garden lights, the average voltage value based on sensor measurements is 14.39 V, the average current is 0.81 A, and the average power is 11.65W. For measurement conditions based on a multimeter, the average voltage value is 13.41 V, the average current value is 0.76 A, and the average real power value is 10.19 W.

Abstract

This study uses data collection methods to compare how effective the use of solar cells is and the data is based on 2 parameters as reference material, namely real data with simulation data where real data obtained from solar cells in PT. KAHATEX while simulating using Pvsyst software, so it can be seen that the use of solar cells is more impactful as a substitute for conventional energy sources. From this data, it can also be calculated how much the costs have been cut and the impact given by the use of solar cells. After the analysis carried out, it was obtained data that each solar cell module produced an average of 1.32 kWh and also obtained data on the cost of electricity usage which was cut by an average of 4.8% of the total electricity demand from one Garment department at PT. KAHATEX. The installation of solar cells in one Garment Department saves electricity in the last 3 months, which is Rp. 31,006,265. The simulation results using Pvsyst software to expand the use of solar cells in the embroidery department showed that 297 units of modules are needed and the average in one module generates electricity of 1.18 kWh.

Abstract

Indonesia Comnets Plus KP Bangka Belitung is a telecommunications provider that provides fiber optic (FO)-based internet network services. During 3 years of operation from 2019 to 2022, it is estimated that the problem is the lack of information provision regarding the distribution points of PT. Indonesia Comnets Plus in the Bangka Belitung area (Rinto Hariwijaya, 2022). The provision of information regarding the distribution points of the FAT (Fiber Access Terminal) is still using a manual system where the admin needs to share the location points of the FAT (Fiber Access Terminal) via messenger. With the increasing number of FAT users every year at PT. Indonesia Comnets Plus KP Bangka Belitung requires a web- based information system that shortens the time in displaying location information for FAT points (Fiber Access Terminal) in order to facilitate FAT users in obtaining FAT location information. The purpose of this research is to design and build a web that can provide geographical information about the distribution points of FAT (Fiber Access Terminal) in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The results of the system analysis were obtained after implementing the web for 10 days which showed the value of the questionnaire was 56.3% a good assessment.

Abstract

An insulator is one of the electric power equipment functioning as insulation that limits the voltage area from the non-voltage area. The insulators of the medium voltage air line network in terms of their function are classified into suspension insulators and line insulators. The line insulators function as a support for the voltage network on a straight line. In this study, a line insulator was made of several fillers, namely epoxy resin as the main material and silica and silaene sand as supporting materials. The parameters for testing the insulator including breakdown voltage, insulation resistance and tangent delta measurement. Testing is carried out at PT. PLN (Persero) UPDL Semarang. The results of the breakdown voltage on the epoxy resin propulsion insulator with two conditions, wet and dry conditions, it was found 100 kV in dry condition and 70 kV in wet condition and still in accordance with PLN standars, namely at least 65 kV in wet conditions. The measurement of  insulation resistance in dry conditions, it was found more than 1000 G Ω. Referring to the international standard reference VDE ( catalouge 228/4) with  insulation resistance of 1 M Ω  per 1 kV, the results are in accordance with the standard. Then the measured of tangent delta, the largest value obtained 0.495% at the largest input voltage is 9.99 kV. The tangent delta measurement fall into the "GOOD" category when referring to the ANSI C 57.12.90 standard, where the tangent delta less than 0.5% is included in the "GOOD" category.

Abstract

Live Line Maintenance (PDKB) Medium Voltage requires the right method to complete each type of live line maintenance working, as is the case for maintenance/replacement of support insulators and cross arms for double circuit construction on the top side. Temporary Cross Arm Support Insulator construction is intended to avoid blackouts to customers when maintenance work is carried out on Double Circuit construction. There is no method that can be used, maintenance or replacement of the Double Circuit Insulator construction still has to turn off the power grid. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to construct temporary equipment that is able to provide a solution by making a temporary Cross Arm Support Insulator. The construction design of this equipment can be used for replacement/maintenance of Double Circuit Supported Insulator construction. This equipment will be very helpful in carrying out network maintenance work and can be implemented in PLN's operational units, so that the implementation of work becomes safer, faster, more efficient and can avoid blackouts due to such maintenance. By not turning off the power grid, electrical energy can still be distributed.

Abstract

This study purpose to solve problems related to maintenance of the Double Dead End construction on the Overhead Line 20 kV overhead line which so far has been carried out in maintenance by offline condition overhead line so that it can disrupt the continuity of the supply of electrical energy to consumers. Therefore, the authors tried to innovate a new equipment design that is used in Live Line Maintenance, named innovate equipment is Cowok 3 in 1 (Construction for Work 3 in 1) for the maintenance of Double Dead End construction. The use of this equipment is intended to avoid power outages to customers when maintenance work for Double Dead End construction is carried out. Besides that, apart from being the main equipment for maintenance of Double Dead End construction, it can also be used for other maintenance such as maintenance of Dead End construction, maintenance of tension insulators and maintenance of unraveled wire in overhead line.  The maintenance equipment has also been tested at the PLN UPDL Semarang laboratory regarding its feasibility in the form of a tensile test to determine the mechanical strength of the Temporary Insulator material, where the test results are capable of withstanding a load of up to 1000 kg and electrical insulation testing is also carried out by injecting a voltage 100 kV distance of 30 cm for 1 minute on the Temporary Insulator test results do not occur arcing jumps. This equipment has been implemented at PLN UPDL Semarang and PLN Area Surabaya Selatan.

Abstract

The Cendil Heath Forest Geosite is located in Cendil Village, East Belitung Regency which is part of the Belitong Geopark. On this tour, visitors go around the forest with a tour guide who will explain the details of the flora according to the signboard. Besides making it difficult for guides, this system makes the information obtained by Tourists is not optimal. This study aims to design and build an educational tourism application based on Android and QR code. By building an Android application that has a QR Code scanner feature, detailed flora information in the QR Code will appear so that the information will be delivered optimally. The system created consists of a website system that uses the CodeIgniter framework and an Android system that uses the Kotlin programming language. Testing was carried out with a questionnaire to 30 people with details of 3 Administrators, 5 Managers, and 22 Application Users. The test results show that the Application User is satisfied with the application made both in terms of appearance, convenience, and application functionality. Meanwhile, the response of Managers and Administrators is satisfied with the website that is made both in terms of appearance, ease of use, and application functionality.
