Abstract

Women in villages are often marginalized in terms of access to economic resources, thus limiting their potential to contribute to the village economy. This condition is because the Government and Village Community Institutions do not yet have an optimal strategy for women's economic empowerment. Furthermore, there is still a lack of adequate capacity within the community, especially among women, to develop the family economy. Therefore, this Community Service is aimed at increasing the capacity of village officials and the BPKal in Sendangarum Village in compiling village economic development governance that is socially just through the integration of a gender-based entrepreneurial perspective and strengthening the entrepreneurial capacity of women members of the Women Farmers Group as a form of implementation of the Women-Friendly and Child-Caring Village Policy. The approach used to increase women's role in the economy is through gender-based entrepreneurship, which focuses on providing equal opportunities and utilizing women's potential in the local context. The method implemented is the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) approach with activities such as workshops, training, mentoring, and facilitation of production equipment and product packaging. The workshop was conducted to improve the capacity of Village Government governance and policies, Entrepreneurship training, and the manufacture of processed agricultural products in the form of fried onions, as well as facilitation of production equipment and product packaging, were conducted to improve the capacity of women entrepreneurs targeting the Women Farmers Group. The results obtained were the knowledge of gender-perspective economic development governance among village officials and BPKal in Sendangarum Village as a basis for the preparation of Village Development Policies and increased women's entrepreneurial capacity, as well as the capacity to manage fried onion business products in the Women Farmers Group.

Abstract

Sexual violence against children is a serious problem that requires early prevention efforts through the active involvement of parents and teachers. The development of digital technology presents opportunities to utilize educational applications as a medium to support the prevention of sexual violence against children. However, low digital literacy becomes an obstacle in optimizing the use of these applications. This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy of parents and teachers through training in the use of applications for the early prevention of sexual violence against children. The methods used include participatory and educational approaches through the delivery of materials, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and interactive discussions. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of early prevention of sexual violence as well as an improvement in skills in utilizing digital applications as a medium for education and child protection. This training contributes to strengthening the role of parents and teachers in creating a safe and child-friendly environment. This activity is expected to serve as a model of sustainable technology-based service in supporting child protection efforts

Abstract

The “GEMA – Gerakan Aksi Membangun Branding” program was designed to address the challenges faced by Ciderum Tourism Village through strengthening destination branding and enhancing community capacity in marketing the village’s tourism potential in a professional and sustainable manner. The program emphasized the use of digital promotional media, including the development of e-books, e-booklets, and promotional videos, as strategic branding instruments. Ciderum Tourism Village has experienced a decline in tourist arrivals over the past three years, primarily due to the lack of a strong destination identity and limited digital promotional activities. This initiative was implemented by Tourism students from LSPR Institute of Communication and Business using a structured socialization approach conducted through pre-event, main event, and post-event stages. The findings indicate a significant improvement in the digital marketing knowledge and management capacity of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in Ciderum Tourism Village. Prior to the program, only 30% of Pokdarwis members demonstrated an understanding of digital-based tourism marketing, while after the intervention, the level of understanding increased to 70%. Overall, the program generated a highly positive and sustainable impact on the local community, particularly the Pokdarwis, by strengthening their ability to promote the destination effectively and reinforcing Ciderum’s branding as an educational tourism village in Bogor. Abstract

Rumah Autis, a social institution under the Yayasan Cahaya Keluarga Fitrah (CAGAR Foundation), was established in 2024 and operates seven branches across Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) and Karawang. The institution provides affordable and free therapy and educational services for individuals with autism and Children with Special Needs, especially for underprivileged families.However, Rumah Autis faces challenges in managing its digital presence, including limited writing skills, lack of SEO knowledge, outdated and unstructured content, and inconsistent production of high-quality articles.To address these issues, a training and mentoring program in article writing and website SEO optimization was implemented. The program aims to improve content quality, increase visibility of autism-related information, strengthen community engagement, and enhance the sustainability of the website through better use of digital technology. As a result of the program, website optimization improved outreach, and 81.25% of the 16 participants demonstrated increased knowledge, supporting Rumah Autis in expanding its impact for children with special needs in Indonesia.

Abstract

The limited availability of fossil fuels and their negative impact on the environment has led to the increasing development of alternative energy sources, particularly new and renewable energy. One such alternative energy development is biogas derived from livestock waste. Arum Mandiri, a village-owned enterprise (Bumdes), located in Tegowanu Village, Tegowanu District, Grobogan Regency, manages a cattle farm with eight cows. The manure, which is still managed independently, has so far been used only as organic fertilizer for the community's agricultural needs. One adult cow alone can produce 10-15 kg of manure per day, resulting in nearly 80-120 kg of manure produced daily. However, only 10-20% of the organic fertilizer utilized from the cow manure must first be dried. Unused cow manure is ultimately disposed of, disrupting the environment and producing an unpleasant odor. Therefore, it is necessary to develop appropriate technology to optimize the utilization of cow manure and achieve economic value. The application of biodigester technology to produce biogas is a solution offered, considering its ease of installation and relatively affordable costs, and can promote energy independence. Abstract

This community service aims to enhance the professionalism of PAI MTs Teachers’ Working Group (MGMP) in Bojonegoro Regency through training on learning material development using Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies, supporting the achievement of Asta Cita 4, particularly in strengthening human resource quality and digital transformation in education. The program applied the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, emphasizing the empowerment of local assets. In the discovery phase, participants’ existing competencies, collaborative culture, and available digital infrastructure were identified. The dream phase formulated a shared vision for developing immersive and interactive PAI learning materials using AR and VR. The design phase focused on creating training modules, learning scenarios, and AR/VR-based instructional prototypes using the TPACK framework. The destiny phase included implementation, mentoring, pilot testing, and continuous reflection. Quantitative evaluation showed that participants’ technological literacy improved by 48%, their ability to design AR-based learning content increased by 42%, and the effectiveness of VR-based simulation in the classroom was rated at 4.6 out of 5 in participant satisfaction surveys. The program produced AR and VR learning material prototypes and strengthened a digital practice community within MGMP, fostering sustainable professional development. These results indicate that the ABCD approach effectively enhances teacher professionalism by leveraging community assets while accelerating the adoption of immersive technologies in madrasah education.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires teachers to possess competencies in designing innovative and interactive digital learning. However, many educators still face challenges in developing digital learning media that are adaptive, interactive, and easily integrated with existing learning platforms. Therefore, this community service program aims to improve teachers’ competencies in designing digital learning through training and mentoring using Google Apps Script and Lumi Education. The activities were conducted through several stages, including needs analysis, training workshops, hands-on practice, mentoring sessions, and evaluation. During the training, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of digital learning design, the use of Google Apps Script to automate and integrate learning resources within the Google ecosystem, and the development of interactive learning content using Lumi Education based on the H5P framework. The mentoring process allowed participants to directly design and develop digital learning media relevant to their teaching subjects. The results of the program indicate that participants showed increased understanding and skills in developing interactive digital learning media. Teachers were able to create simple automated learning tools, interactive quizzes, and multimedia-based learning materials that support student engagement. In addition, participants demonstrated positive responses toward the implementation of the training and mentoring activities, as these tools were considered practical, accessible, and applicable in classroom practice. Thus, this community service activity contributes to strengthening teachers’ digital pedagogical competencies and supports the implementation of technology-integrated learning in the digital era.

Abstract

This Community Service Program focused on empowering families to prevent stunting through nutrition and health education in Kalurahan Girikerto (village-level administration), Kapanewon Turi (sub-district), Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Stunting remains a national public health concern influenced by multiple factors, including parenting practices, nutritional quality, sanitation, and access to health services. The program applied a participatory approach that positioned families—particularly pregnant women and parents of young children—as key agents of behavioral change to promote healthy growth and optimal child development. The interventions included evidence-based nutrition education, training in the preparation of nutritious foods using locally sourced ingredients, mentoring families to adopt healthy parenting practices, and collaboration with local Posyandu cadres, health workers, and government authorities. The program also utilized interactive educational media, such as leaflets, modules, and short videos, to reinforce knowledge and daily practices. The program’s outcomes showed improved family knowledge on nutrition and parenting, behavioral changes in child feeding practices, and stronger community networks that support stunting prevention. The synergy among families, academics, and local government was crucial for program success, contributing to the national stunting reduction agenda and advancing the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in health and community well-being. Abstract

The development of Indonesia’s new capital city (IKN) in East Kalimantan requires sustainable management of its surrounding buffer areas to maintain ecological, social, and economic balance. These buffer zones possess significant potential for the development of edu-ecotourism based on biodiversity, forest and coastal ecosystems, and local wisdom. This community service program aims to strengthen local community capacity in developing edu-ecotourism as a tool for educational tourism and environmental conservation. A participatory approach was applied through socialization activities, focus group discussions, planning assistance, and the strengthening of multi-stakeholder collaboration involving local communities, regional governments, academics, and related partners. The activities were conducted in several buffer area districts of Kutai Kartanegara Regency and Penajam Paser Utara Regency. The results indicate an increase in community understanding of edu-ecotourism concepts, the formulation of educational tourism package ideas based on local potential, and the establishment of multi-stakeholder synergy to support sustainable tourism management. Community-based edu-ecotourism development is therefore a relevant strategy to support the sustainability of educational tourism destinations while enhancing community participation in natural resource conservation within the IKN buffer areas.
