Abstract

Attention to sustainable development globally has accelerated the focus on renewable energy consumption in recent decades. This study discusses the causality between carbon dioxide emissions, renewable energy consumption-hydropower, renewable energy consumption-geothermal, biomass, and other sources on economic growth. Using the VECM and Granger Causality methods to see the relationship between variables in the long term and short term. This study uses time series data from 1990-2020 in Indonesia. The results of the study are that carbon dioxide emissions and renewable energy consumption-hydropower are significantly positive for economic growth in the long and short term, while renewable energy consumption-geothermal, biomass, and other sources are significantly negative for economic growth. In terms of causality, in the long term, all variables have a one-way causal relationship, while in the short term, carbon dioxide emissions and economic growth and renewable energy consumption-geothermal, biomass, and other and economic growth have an alternating causality relationship.

Abstract

Digital information technology is developing quite rapidly in Indonesia, opening up new opportunities as well as challenges in various fields of daily life, because in the era of development of digital information technology it touches various aspects of life. One aspect is the cottage industry sector. The use of digital information technology in the home industry can facilitate buying and selling activities and promotions in E-Commerce stalls without having to meet face-to-face between sellers and buyers. For most business actors, production, distribution, sales, and promotion activities are carried out in the same place, namely at home/production workshop. Activities carried out in the same place cause changes in the space and environment for both the business actors themselves and the surrounding environment. In addition, these activities will also affect socio-economic changes and environmental changes, considering that the location of this research is in a dense village with almost no distance between houses. The research is located in Rw. 03 Cibaduyut sub-district, Bandung City with the majority of respondents having businesses made from leather such as; shoes and sandals. This study uses an approach through direct observation, interviews and surveys. The results of the study reveal the effect of E-Commerce on space and the environment in the cottage industry area. So that this research can be used to see the behavior of the community and the needs of industry players in structuring a dense village environment.

This study uses quantitative descriptive analysis methods and path analysis,(2) The results of the multiple linear regression equation are general mining revenue sharing (X1) and shared funds. The results of oil and gas (X2) on capital expenditure show that the independent variable has a simultaneous effect with an R-Squared value of 0.7521 or 75.21% while the remaining 24.79% is influenced by other variables, (3) General mining revenue sharing directly had a significant effect on HDI was 2.92% and had an indirect effect of 0.29%, meanwhile the oil and gas profit sharing funds had no significant effect on HDI.

Abstract

Temperature variation due to climate change can give greatest impact on potential evapotranspiration. Increase of temperature in Yogyakarta Special Region can increase potential evapotranspiration. It is necessary to study potential evapotranspiration as one of indication impact of climate change to its potential evapotranspiration. Potential evapotranspiration (PET) can be estimated applying Hargreaves and Samani (1982) that requires limited meteorological parameter. Therefore, this research aims are: a) to analyze daily PET in 3 gauge station of Merapi Aquifer System, b) to analyze variation PET in the 3 gauge stations of Merapi Aquifer System. The largest values of PET is in Barongan station, while the lowest is in Adisucipto station. It is probably because Adisucipto station is located in urban and crowded areas. PET values are mostly 1.98 mm/day in rainy season, while 1.67 mm/day in dry season. Mostly, the correlation coefficient is low in dry season for Pluyon, Barongan and Adisucipto stations suggesting that drier and warmer temperature due to climate change do not have large impact to PET. The 5-month moving average trend also confirm the relatively stable line of PET variation from January 2005 to December 2016 reflecting that climate change do not greatly impact on PET in Merapi Aquifer System.
