Abstract

In this study, we propose a hybrid analytical technique that integrates the Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM) with the Variational Iteration Method (VIM) to solve both linear and nonlinear integro-differential equations of integer and fractional orders. This approach extends and refines the Odibat Decomposition Method (ODM) by addressing key limitations inherent in ADM and VIM—specifically, the reliance on linearization, Adomian polynomials, and Lagrange multipliers. By circumventing these computational complexities, the proposed method enables the direct and efficient construction of series solutions with improved convergence properties. The hybrid scheme is designed for broader applicability and enhanced computational simplicity, making it a powerful tool for analyzing complex integro-differential systems. Its effectiveness and robustness are demonstrated through a range of illustrative examples, confirming the method’s capability to provide accurate analytical approximations with minimal computational overhead.

Abstract

Moral education plays an important role in life to realize the personality and noble character of each individual. Without good morals, a person can harm themselves and others. The emergence of the animation Nussa and Rara is regarded as providing good education for children. This study used content analysis methods to obtain data regarding the values of moral education for children, specifically morals towards Allah Swt. and morals towards oneself, using the episode “Kamu… Antta” as a sample. The instrument in this study is the human instrument, and data collection techniques were carried out through coding sheets and literature studies. The data analysis techniques used include filling in the coding sheets according to the established measuring tools, validity testing, and organizing data into units of analysis so that it can be categorized and interpreted to draw conclusions from the research. The results of the study indicate that in the animation Nussa and Rara, there are values of moral education towards Allah Swt. and morals towards oneself.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Flipped Classroom learning model on student engagement in the subject of Akidah Akhlak in class X at MAN 1 Bogor. This research is motivated by the low student engagement in the subject of Akidah Akhlak due to the insufficient use of conventional methods that do not actively involve students in the learning process, which has a significant impact on the context of the research. The objective of this study is to measure the extent of the influence of the Flipped Classroom learning model on student engagement in the learning process. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research design of a non-equivalent control group design, involving a sample of 70 students selected using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study indicate that the Flipped Classroom model has a positive effect on student engagement in the subject of Akidah Akhlak in class X at MAN 1 Bogor. The better the learning model and methods used by the teacher, the higher the student engagement in the learning process. Therefore, if a teacher designs the learning process well using various models and methods, it will have a positive impact on student engagement in learning.

Abstract

This study originated from the problem of PAI evaluation tools that are less interactive and boring at State Elementary School (SDN) 26 Rimbo Kaluang Padang, which can reduce student motivation and learning achievement. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Wordwall interactive game platform as an evaluation tool in PAI learning at SDN 26 Rimbo Kaluang Padang. This study used quasi-experiment with Non-Equivalent Control Group design. The experimental class was assessed using the Wordwall tool, while the control class was assessed using a conventional test. was assessed using conventional tests. The results showed that there was a significant effect on both classes after treatment, and the average value of the experimental class was 74.16> control class 65.8. Independent t-test concluded that learning PAI using Wordwall is more efficient than conventional tests. From the practical side, this study proposes to PAI teachers and elementary schools to utilize Wordwall as an alternative evaluation tool. From the theoretical side, this study increases the insight into the efficiency of using Wordwall. Game-based learning to measure the understanding of religious materials. This study aims to find the most efficient type of Wordwall activity for various PAI subjects and its contribution to the affective side of students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of learning facilities in supporting the learning process of housekeeping practice at SMK, especially at SMKN 6 Padang. The gap found is that there is still a lack of optimal utilization of facilities in the workshop which has an impact on student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of culinary learning facilities available in the workshop on the learning outcomes of Culinary XI class students of SMKN 6 Padang. This research is a quantitative study with a simple linear regression approach. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 6 Padang on grade XI students of the Culinary expertise program, after the author conducted a proposal seminar. The population in this study were all students of class XI Culinary totaling 101 people. The sampling technique used is probability sampling, which is a sampling technique that provides an equal opportunity for each member of the population to be selected as a sample. The number of samples in this study was determined using the Yamane formula (Sugiyono, 2019: 158), and rounded up to 50 respondents. Based on the results of research on the effect of learning facilities in the workshop on the learning outcomes of Culinary class XI students of SMKN 6 Padang, it can be concluded that learning facilities have an important role in supporting the success of practical learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of cultivating the habit of Qur’anic recitation (tadarus Al-Qur’an) in schools as a means of shaping students' religious attitudes and understanding the impact of this habit. The aim of this study is to explore how the implementation process of Qur’anic recitation habits is carried out at SMP Kosgoro and to identify the impact of tadarus Al-Qur’an on the religious attitudes of students at SMP Kosgoro. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, curriculum coordinator, homeroom teachers, and students of SMP Kosgoro. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The implementation of the Qur’anic recitation habit is carried out before the start of lessons, with an allocated time of 15 minutes. The purpose of this activity is to instill religious values in students and to familiarize them with reading the Qur’an, thereby improving their Qur’anic reading skills. (2) The impacts of this habitual tadarus activity on students' religious attitudes are as follows: a) It enhances students’ discipline. b) In terms of religious behavior, the activity fosters more polite, orderly behavior and respect toward teachers and peers, both at school and at home. c) In terms of religiosity, students become more diligent in worship, such as regularly performing Dhuha prayers, reading the Qur’an, and increasing their piety. d) Reading the Qur’an before lessons creates a sense of calm, helping students to concentrate better during class.

Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted to enhance students' learning motivation in the IPAS (Science and Social Studies Integration) subject using the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The research was carried out through four main stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, involving 15 fifth-grade A students. Data collection techniques included observation of students' learning activities and a learning motivation questionnaire. The results showed a significant increase in students’ learning motivation, with indicators such as desire and willingness to learn reaching 88.8%, learning drive and needs at 88.3%, appreciation in learning at 86.6%, engagement in interesting activities at 93.3%, and support from the learning environment at 91.6%.Furthermore, the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach not only improved students’ motivation but also provided a more meaningful learning experience. This approach facilitates the acknowledgment of students’ cultural backgrounds, strengthens their self-confidence in the learning process, and promotes respect and tolerance toward cultural differences in the classroom. Thus, CRT is proven to be an effective approach in creating an inclusive, relevant, and empowering learning environment within the context of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the influence of globalization, characterized by the rapid advancement of science and technology, which presents Indonesia with various challenges and opportunities, particularly in the field of education. The challenges faced by teachers in the learning process are increasing in line with the development of science and technology, where teachers must be able to use engaging, interactive, and enjoyable learning media. One of the interesting and enjoyable media is technology-based media that aligns with the advancements in science and technology, namely Quizizz. The objectives of this study are: first, to determine the application of Quizizz as a learning media in the subject of Islamic Education at SMPN 1 Padang Panjang; second, to assess students' interest in learning through Quizizz in the Islamic Education subject at SMPN 1 Padang Panjang; and third, to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in using Quizizz as a learning media to enhance students' interest in learning in the Islamic Education subject at SMPN 1 Padang Panjang. The method used in this research is a mixed method with a total of seven informants. The data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, while the data analysis employs techniques such as data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of this study indicate that the application of Quizizz in Islamic Education learning has a positive impact on students' interest in learning, as evidenced by positive changes in students' attitudes, where they become more active and enthusiastic during lessons. The implementation of Quizizz as a learning media is carried out in three stages: planning, implementation, and reflection. The use of Quizizz in Islamic Education learning can enhance students' interest in learning, as seen from four indicators of interest: students' feelings of enjoyment, attention, interest, and involvement or participation in the learning process. The main conclusion of this research is that the application of Quizizz can increase students' interest in learning, thereby supporting the achievement of optimal learning objectives. The implications of this research indicate that the integration of technology in the learning process, particularly through the use of interactive media like Quizizz, can significantly enhance students' interest in the subject of Islamic Education. This suggests that teachers need to adopt innovative and engaging teaching methods to create a more dynamic and enjoyable learning environment. Furthermore, this research highlights the importance of training for teachers in utilizing educational technology, enabling them to design and implement effective learning experiences. Thus, the application of technology-based learning media not only contributes to increasing students' interest in learning but also supports the achievement of better educational outcomes in the current era of globalization and technological advancement.

Abstract

The development of environmentally conscious character is a vital aspect of education in Indonesia and is mandated to be implemented at every level of educational institutions. The Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam or PAI) subject, particularly Akidah Akhlak, plays a strategic role in instilling moral and spiritual values that support environmental awareness. This study aims to explore the optimization of Akidah Akhlak instruction in fostering environmentally conscious character through the P5 PPRA program at MTsN 15 Jombang. A qualitative approach was employed using a case study design. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, with informants consisting of the principal, Akidah Akhlak teachers, and students. Data analysis was conducted through source triangulation to ensure the validity of findings. The results indicate that Akidah Akhlak instruction integrated with the P5 PPRA program effectively cultivates students’ environmental awareness. The program includes greening activities and recycling plastic bottles into ecobricks, providing students with hands-on experiences in applying moral values toward nature. The integration of religious values with environmental practices through contextual learning not only enhances students’ understanding of the importance of environmental stewardship but also strengthens their commitment to practicing it in daily life as part of their faith implementation. These findings affirm that an instructional approach combining spiritual dimensions with real-world actions can be an effective strategy for shaping ecologically minded student character.

Abstract

The phenomenon of errors in the pronunciation of Arabic letters (an-nuthqu al-huruf al-‘Arabiyyah) has a significant impact on the quality of worship, particularly in reciting the Qur’an, which was revealed in eloquent Arabic. However, studies on this aspect remain limited. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing these errors and the forms they take in order to formulate concrete efforts to improve fluency in accordance with Arabic phonological rules. A descriptive qualitative approach was used with a random sampling technique, involving 20 ta’lim participants aged 50–75 years at TPQ Al Wakil Pacitan. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation, which were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that low intensity of religious education, limited teacher competence, lack of interest in reading Arabic script, environmental and native language influence, and the perception that Arabic pronunciation is difficult are key factors contributing to pronunciation errors. The types of errors identified include the confusion of letters with similar makhraj and characteristics, the appearance of two sounds within a single phoneme, incomplete vowel articulation, and shifts between adjacent vowels. The conclusion of this study underscores the urgency of comprehensive religious education, particularly in Arabic phonology, so that Arabic letters can be pronounced correctly according to established rules. The practical implications highlight the importance of expanding the role of TPQ, not only for children but also as a platform for religious development among adults and the elderly.
