Fiqih instruction in Class X at MA Al-Bairuny Sambong Dukuh Jombang remains predominantly lecture-based and relies solely on textbooks, resulting in student disengagement and low participation. This study aims to develop HAM (Hajj and Umrah) instructional media using iSpring Suite and to assess students’ responses to the media. The research employed a Research and Development (RnD) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection instruments included validation questionnaires for media experts, subject matter experts, and student response surveys. Media expert validation scores averaged 77% in the first round (categorized as valid) and 84% in the second round (categorized as highly valid). Subject matter expert validation scores were 90% and 93%, both falling within the highly valid category. Meanwhile, student response results yielded a score of 91%, indicating high practicality. These findings demonstrate that the HAM media developed with iSpring Suite is both feasible and practical for use in Fiqih learning. The study underscores the importance of innovative interactive digital media in fostering engaging and effective learning, particularly for procedural content such as Hajj and Umrah rituals.

The rapid advancement of technology has led to increased gadget use in daily life, including among parents. While technology facilitates access to information, negative impacts such as phubbing, the tendency to ignore people nearby due to excessive focus on gadgets are increasingly evident, particularly in parent-child interactions. One factor suspected to contribute to this behavior is low romantic relationship satisfaction between partners. This study aims to examine the relationship between romantic relationship satisfaction and phubbing behavior among parents in West Sumatra. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 410 mothers with children aged ≤12 years, selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments were developed based on the phubbing theory by Karadağ et al. (2015) and the romantic relationship satisfaction framework by Hendrick (1988). Pearson correlation analysis revealed a significant negative relationship between romantic relationship satisfaction and phubbing behavior (r = -0.361; p < 0.05). These findings indicate that the higher the satisfaction in a romantic relationship, the lower the tendency of parents to engage in phubbing toward their children. The study concludes that the quality of romantic relationships within the family plays a crucial role as a preventive strategy to reduce phubbing and improve parenting quality in the digital age.

The low level of student motivation in learning matrix material in Grade XI of senior high school caused by the abstract nature of the topic and the use of conventional teaching methods forms the background of this study. The objective is to develop a gamification-based instructional design to enhance students’ learning motivation. This research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Four-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), limited to the Develop stage. The research subjects consisted of 24 Grade XI students. Data were collected through a learning motivation questionnaire based on the ARCS model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction) and validated using the V-Aiken index. The findings indicate that the gamification-based instructional design is valid and feasible for use. A limited trial showed that this approach is effective in fostering learning motivation, with 75% of students expressing a positive response toward the model. The study provides important implications for teachers in integrating gamification elements as an interactive teaching strategy to enhance student engagement in mathematics learning.

This study explores the underlying factors driving the resistance of village Muslims to the transnational Islamic movement through the lens of Islamic boarding school (pesantren) development in Yogyakarta, as well as the ongoing dynamics that have led to prolonged conflict. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research investigates how socio-religious tensions emerge and persist within local contexts. The findings identify two primary causes of resistance: the absence of a symbiotic relationship between village Muslims and transnational Islamic actors, and a lack of effective communication with the local community. These factors have sustained resistance over time, marked by cultural and political negotiations in response to symbolic differences in daily religious practices. The resulting disharmony illustrates how local identity and religious expression diverge from those promoted by transnational movements. Viewed through the lens of human needs theory, the conflict reflects a struggle to preserve deeply rooted communal ideals and identity. Ultimately, the study concludes that religious identity serves as the central force motivating village Muslims to uphold their values and resist external pressures, underscoring the complexity of religious interaction at the grassroots level.

The increasing modernization of society demands that educational institutions shape students' character to prevent them from embracing values contrary to Islamic teachings. In this context, schools as formal educational institutions play a vital role as the second environment after the family in instilling noble values, including empathy and respect for diversity. This study aims to analyze the implementation of religious moderation values in shaping students into moderate, tolerant individuals who appreciate differences at MTs Miftahul Huda Kangayan, Sumenep Regency. A qualitative field study approach was employed, with data collected through observations and interviews involving MTs Miftahul Huda students, and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The findings show that the implementation of religious moderation values is carried out through direct instruction, interfaith discussions, and social activities, which significantly enhance students' awareness of the importance of tolerance and respect for diversity. Students demonstrated openness, dialogue-oriented attitudes, and constructive engagement in interfaith interactions. This implementation is further reinforced by the school's inclusive policy of employing non-Muslim teachers and admitting Christian students without discrimination, reflecting the institution’s moderate stance. The study concludes that the application of religious moderation values at MTs Miftahul Huda is not only effective in fostering moderate student character but also strengthens interreligious harmony within the school environment.

The low academic performance of students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at the elementary school level remains a concern, partly due to the limited use of interactive digital learning media. One promising yet underexplored medium is Wordwall. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of Wordwall in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in PAI at SDN Cimanggu Kecil. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental design of the Nonequivalent Control Group type. The sample consisted of 73 students divided into experimental and control groups through purposive sampling. Data were collected using pretest and posttest assessments and analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and independent sample t-tests via SPSS version 27. The results show a significant difference in posttest scores between the experimental group (mean = 84.86) and the control group (mean = 68.24), with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). This indicates that the use of Wordwall has a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes. The findings align with constructivist and behaviorist theories that support active and interactive learning. The study concludes that Wordwall is an effective medium for creating a more engaging and meaningful PAI learning process. The implications include theoretical contributions to the literature on digital media in religious education and practical recommendations for teachers and schools to integrate game-based media into instructional practices.

The teaching of procedural texts in elementary schools is often conducted in a theoretical manner and lacks connection to students’ real-life experiences, resulting in limited understanding of text structure and minimal active engagement in the learning process. This study aims to describe the use of food packaging as contextual media in teaching procedural texts to fourth-grade elementary students. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of six fourth-grade students who learned procedural texts in Bahasa Indonesia using food packaging, such as instant noodle, powdered milk, and tea bag packages as text sources. The findings reveal that using food packaging helps students understand the structure of procedural texts more concretely and enjoyably. Observations indicated increased enthusiasm and confidence as students rewrote procedural steps based on the information presented in the media. In-depth interviews confirmed that students felt more supported and engaged when learning through contextual media compared to traditional textbooks. The study concludes that food packaging, as contextual learning media, is effective in enhancing students’ comprehension and learning motivation. The implications suggest that teachers can utilize simple, familiar objects as relevant instructional tools to foster active participation and strengthen procedural literacy within everyday contexts.

Digital transformation in archival management is a strategic necessity in the modern era to enhance efficiency and the quality of information services within government institutions. However, the effectiveness of digital system implementation in legal institutions remains underexplored in a comprehensive manner. This study aims to analyze the implementation of archive digitalization through the SIPEDE application (Sistem Informasi Persuratan dan Disposisi Elektronik), evaluate the quality of information services post-implementation, and assess its impact on improving information service delivery at the Sijunjung District Attorney’s Office. The research employed a quantitative associative method using a survey approach, involving 40 employee respondents. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaire distribution, and literature review. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and simple linear regression. The results show that archive digitalization via SIPEDE has a highly significant effect on the quality of information services, with a Pearson correlation value of 0.993 and an R Square of 0.987. The application positively impacted five core dimensions of the E-SERVQUAL model: efficiency, fulfillment, system availability, privacy, and responsiveness. Additionally, elements of the Records Continuum Model (RCM), including record creation, capture, and organization contributed to improved access and workflow. This study concludes that SIPEDE has effectively enhanced both the technical and functional quality of information services within the Sijunjung District Attorney’s Office.

The decline in public interest in visiting libraries, driven by the convenience of digital access, presents a strategic challenge for public libraries, particularly the Office of Library and Archives of Pesisir Selatan Regency. In response to this challenge, the library launched an innovative program titled Layanan Digital Film Literasi dan Inklusi Sosial (Lagi Firal). This study aims to analyze the impact of the literacy film program on user visit interest. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with the study population consisting of visitors participating in the film literacy program. A sample of 94 respondents was determined using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation tests, simple linear regression, and the coefficient of determination with the aid of SPSS version 25. The findings indicate that the film literacy program has a positive and significant effect on visit interest, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a contribution of 42.2%. The entertainment and enjoyment indicators received the highest scores, suggesting that educational films successfully create a positive and enjoyable library experience. The study concludes that the literacy film program is effective in increasing public interest in visiting libraries and recommends its continued development through content diversification and broader, adaptive promotional strategies.

The low levels of cooperation and honesty among Group B children at TK Rejosari, where 80% of students achieved only the One-Star level in developmental outcomes. The lack of group learning activities that incorporate local wisdom values further exacerbates this condition. This study aims to enhance children’s character traits of honesty and cooperation through the implementation of the traditional game Cublak-Cublak Suweng. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted over two cycles involving 20 Group B students. Data were collected through observation and documentation and analyzed descriptively. The results show a significant improvement in cooperative behavior, increasing from 7.5% in the initial condition to 35% in Cycle I, and reaching 80% in Cycle II. Honesty also improved, rising from 13.75% to 36.25% in Cycle I, and reaching 86.25% in Cycle II. The study concludes that the traditional game Cublak-Cublak Suweng is effective in fostering honesty and cooperation among early childhood learners. It recommends the integration of traditional games as a character education medium in early childhood education (ECE) settings.
