Abstract

Islamic economic thought during the Ottoman Empire reflects the application of Islamic principles in the management of the state’s economy, with a focus on social welfare, equitable wealth distribution, and the regulation of natural resources. During this period, the economic system applied not only covered financial aspects but also societal welfare through practices such as waqf and zakat. Waqf was used to finance various social institutions such as schools, hospitals, and mosques, while zakat played a role in reducing economic disparities. The Ottoman state also regulated markets and trade to maintain economic stability and prevent exploitation that could harm the public. Islamic economic thought in this era emphasized the state’s role in achieving general welfare through fair and sustainable policies in accordance with Sharia principles. Overall, Islamic economic thought during the Ottoman period serves as a concrete example of an economy based on Islamic values aimed at achieving justice and collective well-being.

Abstract

In facing global challenges, pesantren must continue to innovate through the management of their Islamic education without having to abandon the culture of students. So that with that achievement will be more directed related to the quality of education and the character of students. This study uses a qualitative type of descriptive with the location of PP Al-Mustofa. The sources used are interviews, and observations. The results obtained are: 1) Innovation in Islamic education management at PP Al-Mustofa Jember for the strengthening of students there are four important things which include planning that must be known by all residents of the pesantren including students and guardians, organization that must involve all including the community and guardians and have complete infrastructure. The implementation of pesantren activities is carried out every day from Monday to Sunday. Where in the implementation there is also mandatory daily habituation, special activities in addition to core activities related to book learning. In addition, it is necessary to have an evaluation of the pesantren carried out every two months and a major evaluation every year that invites all the pesantren administrators involved. 2) The forms of Islamic education management innovations of PP Al-Mustofa Jember in improving the quality of teaching and education of students in general are four things, namely: the integration of technology in learning and pesantren so that teachers are required to always use technology as an enhancer to explain the material so that it can make it easier for students to learn, curriculum changes that adjust to pesantren and national traditions, student-oriented learning approaches and 21st century skill development through trainings such as design, business, making tempeh staples, agriculture, plantations, and the development of the Englsh language.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in interest and learning outcomes in mathematics basic multiplication material using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model assisted by wordwall in grade V students of SDN Kepatihan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using the Kimmis and Mc Taggart model. The research subjects consisted of 24 fifth grade students of SDN Kepatihan. Data was obtained using questionnaire and test methods. The results showed that students' interest in learning in the pre-cycle amounted to 62, 93% (quite high), cycle I amounted to 70, 63% (high), cycle II amounted to 82, 92% (very high). Meanwhile, students' learning outcomes are seen from the classical learning completeness or the number of students achieving KKTP. Learning outcomes in the pre-cycle amounted to 68, 71% (14 students reached KKTP), cycle I increased to 78, 81% (17 students reached KKTP), and cycle II increased to 86, 41% (19 students reached KKTP). In the process, it shows that the quality of the learning process has improved, students are more active, communicative, confident and the learning atmosphere is more fun. It can be concluded that the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model with the help of wordwall can increase the interest and learning outcomes of fifth grade mathematics at SDN Kepatihan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the academic development of students with learning disabilities in an inclusive education environment in grade V at SDN Kebun Bunga 1, focusing on learning strategies, teacher support and their impact on students' academic outcomes. The main issues faced were challenges in inclusive learning, including limited resources and the implementation of effective strategies. With a qualitative approach using the PRISMA method, data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. The results show that material simplification, individualized guidance, and the use of interactive learning media play a significant role in improving the understanding and independence of students with disabilities. Despite facing cognitive and emotional limitations, students showed progress in reading skills, concept understanding, and social interaction. The implications of this study are the need for more in-depth teacher training, close collaboration with parents, and the development of more innovative learning media to support inclusive education. This research contributes to the development of adaptive and inclusive education strategies for students with special needs.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are influenced by various factors, one of which is the use of methods in teaching. Educational institutions need to more seriously consider teaching methods in the teaching and learning process. This study aims to determine the influence of teaching methods on the learning outcomes of Ta'limul Qur'an students at SMP Khadijah Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative method with a population of 439 students from grades IX, X, and XI. The sampling technique was carried out using the Quota Purposive Random Sampling method, where 20% of the population, or 88 students, were randomly selected. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The research location is at SMP Khadijah Surabaya, and data analysis was performed using SPSS version 25. Based on the results of a simple linear regression analysis, the significance level was 0.000 < 0.05, thus Ha was accepted. This indicates that there is a significant influence of teaching methods on the learning outcomes of students at SMP Khadijah Surabaya, with the contribution of teaching methods being 29.6% to the learning outcomes of Ta'limul Qur'an. These findings provide important insights into the influence of teaching methods on learning outcomes, particularly in the teaching of Ta'limul Qur'an.

Abstract

This study focused on the learning activity in the classroom learning vocabulary to enhance students’ participation through the scrabble game. It was classroom action research. The research subject was SMP Negeri 4 Singkawang, especially the seventh-grade students of VII G class. The data was collected with tools, an observation checklist and field notes. The data was analyzed through Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis techniques. The result showed that in the first cycle, several students were not actively involved in the learning process. However, in the second cycle, learning vocabulary through the scrabble game could enhance the students’ participation because they had fun, motivated, and engaging learning while playing.

Abstract

Inclusive education is a fundamental framework that provides equal opportunities for children with special needs (CSN) to develop social skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation of inclusive education at SDN Karanganyar Gunung 02 in fostering CSN's social skills, covering the teaching process, the influence of inclusive education on social skills, and the challenges encountered. A qualitative approach with descriptive methods was utilized to collect data from teachers and the school principal and documentation, validated through source and technique triangulation. The findings show that inclusive education at this school successfully enhances CSN's confidence, empathy, and communication skills through empathy-based learning, peer tutoring, and positive reinforcement. An inclusive environment and personalized teaching strategies also support CSN's active participation in group activities. However, significant challenges such as communication barriers, low concentration levels, and insufficient teacher training remain obstacles. This study highlights the importance of collaboration among teachers, parents, and relevant stakeholders in creating an inclusive environment that holistically supports CSN development.

Abstract

The implementation of tahfidzul Qur'an is very important in developing a generation that excels in religious knowledge. This research examines the tahfidzul Qur'an program at MTs Al-Jihadul Chakim in increasing students' spiritual intelligence. Spiritual intelligence obtained from Tahfidzul Qur'an includes: 1) Foundations of Faith; 2) Discipline and Patience; 3) Wisdom and Wisdom; 4) Calmness and Inner Peace; 5) Empathy and Compassion; 6) Connection with the Creator. This research aims to: 1) Understand the concept of implementing the Tahfidzul Qur'an program at MTs Al-Jihadul Chakim Gondang Mojokerto; 2) Knowing the spiritual intelligence of students at MTs Al-Jihadul Chakim Gondang Mojokerto; 3) Knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors for the Tahfidzul Qur'an program in increasing students' spiritual intelligence at MTs Al-Jihadul Chakim Gondang Mojokerto. This research is a deductive qualitative research that analyzes, observes and describes the research results in depth. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation at MTs Al-Jihadul Chakim Gondang Mojokerto with data sources from the head of tahfidz, tahfiz teachers, PAI teachers and students. The research results show that: 1) The tahfidzul Qur'an program is implemented with three contributions: memorizing what has been memorized, repeating previous memorization, and reciting binadzor to prepare for the next memorization; 2) Implementation of the tahfidzul Qur'an program has a positive impact on students' spiritual intelligence such as patience, selfmotivation, emotional control, responsibility, and increased worship; 3) Supporting factors: effective memorization methods, teacher qualifications, student motivation and personal awareness. Inhibiting factor: students' lack of fluency in reciting the Koran, especially new students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Organizational Climate on Organizational Citizenship Behavior at the Padang City Regional Disaster Management Agency. This study uses quantitative research methods, with sample techniques using total sampling, with a total of 68 subjects, the scale used in this study is a Likert scale. The results showed that Organizational Climate affects Organizational Citizenship Behavior by 0.086 (8.6%). This illustrates that the Organizational Climate variable affects Organizational Citizenship Behavior in employees by 8.6%, where the remaining 91.4% of the influence is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. It can be concluded that if the organizational climate in an organization is high, then OCB will also be high, and vice versa.

Abstract

Public services in Indonesia are still unsatisfactory. Based on the annual report of Ombudsman RI in 2023, it was reported that the number of public complaints received by Ombudsman RI was 7,392 cases. This public report is higher than previous years. Public services in Indonesia are carried out by the state civil apparatus. Individual factors in the state civil apparatus have an important role in predicting the performance of government organizations. One of these individual factors is public service motivation. This research focuses on assessing the influence of proactive personality on public service motivation in state civil apparatus in Disdukcapil Padang City. This type of research is quantitative with a survey. The sample was 41 state civil apparatus. Sampling applied saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a public service motivation scale developed based on the aspects described by Perry and a proactive personality scale compiled by Seibert based on Bateman and Crant's theory. Data were processed using simple linear regression test. The results showed that proactive personality has a significant effect on public service motivation with an influence coefficient of 22.1% and the remaining 77.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research. Research on public service motivation and proactive personality is important to be the basis for developing better management strategies, including recruitment, training and employee development in public organizations.
