Abstract

The development of information technology is driving digital transformation in various sectors, including the food industry. To meet this need, the "Rotiku" website was designed and developed as an online bread ordering solution, especially for small-scale bakeries. This website carries a B2C business model, built using Laravel technology and a MySQL database, and applies a prototyping approach to ensure the system can meet user needs. This website makes it easy for customers to view the product catalog, order bread, and choose digital payment methods such as QRIS, further simplifying transactions. In addition, shop owners and admins are provided with comprehensive features to manage products, monitor orders, and generate real-time sales reports. As part of the system performance evaluation, an analysis was conducted using the PIECES approach, comparing the performance of the website system with the previously used manual method. The analysis results showed significant improvements in several aspects, including system performance, quality of information presented, operational efficiency, and service enhancements. The Rotiku website is expected to improve service quality and customer satisfaction through ease and convenience in ordering, as well as assist shop owners in managing operations more efficiently. With this system, bakeries not only benefit from easier product management and ordering, but also from faster and more accurate sales monitoring. The implementation of the Rotiku website is expected to positively impact the development of small-scale bakeries, improve operational efficiency, and provide a better and more modern shopping experience for customers. This system is an innovative solution that can support bakery business growth and expand market reach digitally. The Rotiku website is expected to improve service quality, operational efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study analyzes the usability and user experience (UX) of the Widya Pratama Institute's Learning Management System (LMS) using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The background of this study is the crucial role of LMS in contemporary education, where this system is the backbone of the online and hybrid learning process. Learning effectiveness is determined not only by the available content, but also by the ease, comfort, and satisfaction of users when accessing and interacting with the system. Therefore, UX quality is an important indicator for assessing the success of an LMS in supporting teaching and learning activities. The main objective of this study is to determine the extent to which the system meets user expectations and identify areas for improvement. The method used involved a survey of 69 students using 26 standard UEQ questions covering six scales: attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, absorption, stimulation, and novelty. The data obtained were tested for validity and reliability, then compared with global UEQ benchmarks to objectively assess the LMS's position. Key findings indicate that the LMS is highly efficient and reliable in terms of technical functionality and accessibility. However, low scores were found for attractiveness, interface brightness, interaction stimulation, and innovation (novelty), which are crucial for shaping positive user perceptions. Lack of visual appeal, limited personalization, and a monotonous experience discourage students from engaging more deeply. These findings highlight the urgent need to update visual elements, increase interactivity, and introduce innovative features that enhance user curiosity and enjoyment. Furthermore, improved documentation and user guides are needed to enable new users to quickly and easily grasp LMS functionality.

Abstract

This report presents the design and development of a web-based e-commerce platform named "Jawa Furnitur," aimed at addressing various challenges in the furniture sales industry. The background of this project is driven by the growing demand for furniture and the limitations of conventional business models that still rely on offline marketing and manual transactions. These traditional models are no longer sufficient to meet the increasing market needs, thus requiring a more efficient and effective digital solution. In this context, the developed system is designed to facilitate online sales of new furniture, providing an integrated solution that helps sellers manage inventory, process transactions, and expand their market reach. The "Jawa Furnitur" platform is designed with a user-friendly interface, making it easy to use for both sellers and buyers. Efficient product search features, secure payment system integration, and well-managed shipping processes ensure a pleasant shopping experience. This system allows sellers to manage their products in real-time and provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers. By utilizing digital technology, transactions can be processed faster and securely, helping to increase customer satisfaction. The primary goal of developing the "Jawa Furnitur" platform is to improve operational efficiency for sellers, expand market segmentation, and support the B2C (Business to Customer) business model. It is expected that this platform will make a significant contribution to the digital transformation of the furniture retail sector, particularly for SMEs, by providing a practical and systematic means for transacting and interacting with customers. With this platform, small and medium-sized businesses can grow rapidly, introduce their products to a broader market, and accelerate the buying and selling process in the increasingly competitive furniture industry.

Abstract

Mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, and depression are increasingly affecting individuals across various levels, from mild to severe. Despite this, public perception often underestimates these conditions, particularly depression, which is frequently misunderstood as a temporary emotional phase. In fact, depression is a serious mental disorder that requires proper attention and treatment. This study aims to classify early patterns of depressive symptoms using the Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering (AHC) algorithm. Data were collected from 1,030 respondents using the PHQ-9 questionnaire, a widely recognized tool for assessing depression levels. The analysis was conducted using the AHC method, and cluster evaluation was performed using the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) to determine optimal clustering. Results indicate that the Complete Linkage method provided the most optimal performance, as reflected in the highest Cophenetic Correlation Coefficient compared to other linkage methods. The DBI evaluation suggests that the optimal number of clusters is four. Among the respondents, 17.2% fall into cluster 1, 32.5% into cluster 2, 21.9% into cluster 3, and 28.3% into cluster 4. These clusters represent distinct patterns of depressive symptoms, which can be used for early detection and improved mental health interventions.

Abstract

Driver assessment recommendation system to conduct assessment and recommendations of national public transportation driver competency and behavior. To ensure the reliability and stability of the program logic in this system, testing is carried out using the White Box Testing approach, especially the Path Testing method. This method tests each execution path in the program control structure to identify potential logic errors and ensure that each condition has been thoroughly tested. Testing is carried out by calculating cyclomatic complexity, describing the program flowchart, and identifying and tracing independent paths. The test results show that all logic paths have run as expected without any functional defects. This indicates that the system has a strong logic structure and is ready to be integrated into a national-scale operational environment. Thus, Path Testing has proven effective in ensuring system quality in terms of internal structure.

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based student pocket money information system at the Nurul Falah Jabres Islamic Boarding School to overcome the problem of managing pocket money which has been done manually. The development method used is waterfall, which consists of the requirements, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance stages. This system is designed using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and Laravel framework. The results of testing using the black-box method show that all system features, such as login, user management, financial transactions, and announcements, run well and according to their functions. This system is expected to improve the efficiency and transparency of student financial management and facilitate communication between the boarding school and student guardians. This study also recommends developing the system into a mobile version and integrating automatic notifications to improve user convenience.

Abstract

Usability evaluation is a crucial element in assessing the quality of an application, especially from the end-user perspective. This study aims to evaluate the level of usability of the SIM (Partner Integration System) application, which functions as a means of managing company partnership data and services. The approach used is the USE Questionnaire method, which includes four main aspects: usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning, and satisfaction. Data was collected through a questionnaire filled out by active users of the SIM application. The measurement results show that the application has an average usability value of 81.09%, which is categorized as a very good level. The usefulness and ease of use dimensions obtained the highest scores of 87.00% and 85.14%, respectively, indicating that the application is considered very useful and easy to use. Meanwhile, the Ease of Learning and Satisfaction dimensions scored 72.67% and 79.56%, respectively, indicating potential for improvement, particularly in the learning and user satisfaction aspects. These findings provide important insights for developers in improving quality and user experience.

Abstract

This research develops a disease detection system for tomato plant leaves using Computer Vision with the YOLOv8 algorithm. The main focus of the research is to detect three common diseases in tomato leaves: early blight, gray mold, and target spot. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with a prototype model, this study collected a total of 405 tomato leaf images consisting of 330 images for training and 75 images for testing. The YOLOv8n model trained for 50 epochs showed promising performance with an mAP@0.5 value of 0.60 on the test dataset. Evaluation results showed the best performance in detecting gray mold disease with a precision of 0.840, while target spot disease showed the lowest performance with a precision of 0.556. Real-time testing verified the system's ability to detect tomato leaf diseases in agricultural environments under various lighting conditions and image capture distances.

Abstract

Increasing electricity consumption in households is one of the problems faced by many countries, including Indonesia. This can lead to increased energy costs and negative environmental impacts. The K-Means method is one of the data mining methods that can be used to analyze electricity consumption patterns. This method works by grouping data into several groups based on the similarity of the pattern. By using the K-Means method, electricity consumption patterns in households can be better identified. This can provide valuable information to improve the efficiency of electricity use. This can help the government to formulate appropriate policies to improve the efficiency of electricity use in households.Electricity companies can use this method to identify electricity consumption patterns based on the type of equipment used. This can help electricity companies to develop more effective education programs to raise public awareness about the importance of saving energy. Thus, the K-Means method can be a useful tool to improve the efficiency of electricity use in households.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the performance of the C4.5 algorithm and the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method in predicting the nutritional needs of pregnant women. The research method involves six main stages: field data collection, dataset reading, basic data exploration, data preprocessing, predictive model development, and model evaluation using test data. The dataset was collected through a Google Form distributed to pregnant women in the Pandaan sub-district and then underwent a preprocessing phase to clean and prepare the data for further analysis. The C4.5 and KNN algorithms were built using the preprocessed data, and the complexity of each model was evaluated to determine their prediction accuracy. These methods were used to predict the nutritional requirements of pregnant women. The findings of the study indicate that the C4.5 algorithm achieved a higher accuracy rate of 95%, compared to 87.50% achieved by the KNN algorithm. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the C4.5 algorithm is more accurate and reliable for predicting the nutritional needs of pregnant women.
