Abstract

Regnancy is a physiological stage that requires intensive monitoring and attention because various complications can arise and potentially threaten the safety of the mother and fetus. The limited number of medical personnel and the low level of health literacy of pregnant women regarding the symptoms of pregnancy disorders are often factors causing delays in the diagnosis and early treatment process. Therefore, this study proposes the design of a web-based expert system that functions as an aid in diagnosing pregnancy disorders by applying the Certainty Factor (CF) method. The Certainty Factor method was chosen because it is able to represent the level of expert confidence in a hypothesis based on symptoms provided by the user, thus resulting in more measured decisions. The system was developed using the PHP programming language with MySQL database support, and is designed to be accessible online through a web-based interface. Test results show that the system has a fairly high level of accuracy, with the diagnosis concordance rate reaching approximately 90% with the expert.

Abstract

The student assessment system at SDN 191 Penrie currently relies on grade books, which often leads to recording errors, delays in report preparation, and a lack of transparency between teachers and parents. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a grade evaluation information system in improving the daily assessment process. The research approach used a mixed method, combining qualitative methods through observation, interviews, and document analysis to identify existing system flows, as well as quantitative methods using a Likert scale questionnaire to measure the effectiveness of the system before implementation and testing the System Usability Scale (SUS) to assess the extent to which the system can assist teachers. The main findings using the Likert scale show that the effectiveness of the system before implementation reached a score of 56.19, while after implementation, the SUS score reached 93.2, indicating an increase in assessment effectiveness. In conclusion, this system is effective in supporting accurate and transparent daily assessments, thereby having a positive impact on improving the quality of basic education in line with the principles of honesty and fairness.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the health system demands the use of clinical data more strategically to support evidence-based decision-making. This study aims to explore the application of the K-Means Clustering algorithm in patient segmentation based on a combination of vital signs (systolic and diastolic blood pressure) and demographic characteristics (age, weight, and gender). Data on 1,401 outpatients was obtained from the medical record system of a hospital in Indonesia, then processed through the stages of preprocessing, standardization, and dimensionality reduction using PCA. The results of the elbow method showed that the optimal number of clusters was 3 (k=3). Descriptive analysis showed that Cluster 0 consisted of 100% women with normal blood pressure (124/77 mmHg) and an average body weight of 55.6 kg; Cluster 1 consists of the majority of women with high blood pressure (160.8/98.8 mmHg); while Cluster 2 includes 100% of men with blood pressure leading to pre-hypertension (130.1/80.7 mmHg). PCA visualizations show fairly clear cluster separation, with Cluster 1 having the most clinically distinct characteristics. The conclusion of this study is that the K-Means-based unsupervised learning approach is effective in identifying latent risk patterns in patient populations, as well as the potential to support clinical risk mapping and preventive health policies. Future recommendations include the integration of this method in EMR systems and the expansion of studies on national datasets.

Abstract

This study examines the factors influencing the successful implementation of Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) in companies, particularly in the context of the increasing need for data integration and operational effectiveness due to advances in information technology. Although EIS can offer various strategic benefits such as increased efficiency, information accuracy, and interdepartmental coordination, its implementation often encounters obstacles due to technical complexity and organizational readiness. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature review, this study identifies key elements of successful implementation, including organizational readiness, top management support, human resource competency, system alignment with business processes, and an adaptive organizational culture. The results indicate that implementation success is determined not only by system quality but also by the organization's ability to manage change, overcome user resistance, and ensure the system aligns with the company's strategic needs. These findings confirm that EIS implementation requires a holistic approach that integrates human factors, business processes, and technology for optimal system performance and long-term value for the company.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the level of user acceptance of the website-based airline ticket booking system at MMBC Travel using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The TAM model is used to measure the influence of the variables Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Effectiveness, Attitude Toward Use, and Behavioral Intention to Use on user acceptance of the system. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who were active users of the system. Data analysis was conducted using path analysis to examine the relationships between the variables in the model. The results showed that all relationships between the tested variables had a positive and significant impact. The average user perception score was above 3.5 on a scale of 5, indicating that the information system was considered quite easy to use, useful, and well-received by users. Therefore, it can be concluded that the website-based airline ticket booking system at MMBC Travel meets the aspects of ease of use and usefulness, making it worthy of continued use and development.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program has emerged as a major public policy issue frequently discussed on social media platform X (Twitter). Public discourse surrounding this program reflects diverse perspectives, including support, criticism, and broader debates on national nutrition policies. This study seeks to identify the dominant topics within these conversations through K-Means clustering and to classify sentiments using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm, enhanced with SMOTE to address class imbalance. A total of 3,053 tweets were collected through crawling. The clustering results revealed three main themes: (1) nutrition fulfillment and food access for priority groups, highlighted by keywords such as nutrition, milk, fish, toddlers, schools, and pesantren; (2) political dynamics and program legitimacy, represented by terms like stunting, support, president, Prabowo, society, and national; and (3) state financial concerns, reflected in words including tax, funds, state budget, cost, people, and expenditure. In sentiment analysis, SVM without SMOTE produced accuracies of 65.69%, 67.76%, and 68.12% under 90:10, 80:20, and 70:30 split ratios. After applying SMOTE, accuracy increased to 77.94%, 76.38%, and 75.06%, with an F1-Score of 78%. These results confirm that K-Means is effective in identifying discussion topics, while SMOTE enhances SVM performance in sentiment classification.

Abstract

Student graduation is one indicator in evaluating the success of the learning process, so an accurate prediction model is needed to support academic decision making. This study aims to compare the performance of prediction models generated by the AdaBoost and XGBoost ensemble learning algorithms in predicting student graduation. The stages of the study include data collection, data pre-processing, validation, evaluation, and model comparison. Model evaluation used a confusion matrix, producing measurement metrics of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The comparison results showed that both models performed very well. The AdaBoost model produced an accuracy of 0.95, precision of 0.95, recall of 0.99, and an F1-score of 0.97. Meanwhile, the XGBoost model produced an accuracy of 0.94, precision of 0.94, recall of 0.99, and an F1-score of 0.97. Based on the comparison results, AdaBoost showed slightly superior performance in terms of accuracy and precision. The results of the study show that the boosting algorithm is effective for implementation in predicting student graduation and can be used to support decision-making in the academic field.

Abstract

PT. Djakarta Ekspress is an expedition company that still uses a manual system for its mail delivery operations, leading to various problems such as delayed data input, difficulties in archive searches, vulnerability to data loss, and the absence of real-time delivery tracking features. This research aims to analyze the existing manual system, design, and implement a web-based mail delivery information system as a solution to improve the company’s operational efficiency and effectiveness. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The implementation results show that the web-based system enables faster and more accurate mail data recording, automatic courier assignment, and safer data storage in a database. The system is also equipped with real-time delivery tracking features and the ability for couriers to upload delivery proof in the form of photos, thus assisting both admin and customers in monitoring delivery status. System evaluation based on questionnaire data shows a significant improvement from the "Very Poor" to "Very Good" category in terms of ease of use, feature completeness, and user satisfaction. Additionally, strengthening data security with encryption, two-factor authentication, and system scalability testing is recommended for future development. This system has proven to be effective in enhancing the efficiency, professionalism, and competitiveness of PT. Djakarta Ekspress in the digital era.

Abstract

Digital transformation is driving banks to ensure that Information Technology (IT) investments align with business strategy and deliver tangible value to the organization. As a state-owned bank, Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) continues to strengthen its digital capabilities through its Technology Division. However, without focused strategic planning, IT investments have the potential to underperform in supporting business objectives. This study aims to analyze and design the alignment of business and IT strategies in the Technology Division of BNI using the Ward and Peppard approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study, through analysis of the business environment and the IT environment. The results show that the application of the Ward and Peppard approach is able to produce an IS/IT strategy that is aligned with business needs, supported by a clear application portfolio and Alignment Matrix. This research confirms that the alignment of business and IT strategies plays a critical role in supporting digital transformation, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring IT investments deliver sustainable business value for BNI.

Abstract

This study aims to compare startup valuation results using The Dave Berkus Method and the Scorecard Method on Pesona Plastic, an early-stage social and environmental startup engaged in plastic waste recycling into furniture products in Bali. The research applies a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The valuation results show that The Dave Berkus Method produces a higher valuation of IDR 3,900,000,000 compared to the Scorecard Method, which yields IDR 3,170,700,000. The difference is mainly caused by variations in assessment focus, where The Dave Berkus Method emphasizes non-financial and internal potential factors such as business ideas, prototypes, team quality, strategic relationships, and early market acceptance. In contrast, the Scorecard Method relies more on market comparisons and industry benchmarks, which are limited for early-stage startups. Considering the development stage and characteristics of Pesona Plastic, The Dave Berkus Method is considered more relevant and representative for valuing the startup. This study contributes to startup valuation literature by providing empirical evidence on the suitability of valuation methods for early-stage social and environmental startups..
