Abstract

Regnancy is a physiological stage that requires intensive monitoring and attention because various complications can arise and potentially threaten the safety of the mother and fetus. The limited number of medical personnel and the low level of health literacy of pregnant women regarding the symptoms of pregnancy disorders are often factors causing delays in the diagnosis and early treatment process. Therefore, this study proposes the design of a web-based expert system that functions as an aid in diagnosing pregnancy disorders by applying the Certainty Factor (CF) method. The Certainty Factor method was chosen because it is able to represent the level of expert confidence in a hypothesis based on symptoms provided by the user, thus resulting in more measured decisions. The system was developed using the PHP programming language with MySQL database support, and is designed to be accessible online through a web-based interface. Test results show that the system has a fairly high level of accuracy, with the diagnosis concordance rate reaching approximately 90% with the expert.

Abstract

The student assessment system at SDN 191 Penrie currently relies on grade books, which often leads to recording errors, delays in report preparation, and a lack of transparency between teachers and parents. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a grade evaluation information system in improving the daily assessment process. The research approach used a mixed method, combining qualitative methods through observation, interviews, and document analysis to identify existing system flows, as well as quantitative methods using a Likert scale questionnaire to measure the effectiveness of the system before implementation and testing the System Usability Scale (SUS) to assess the extent to which the system can assist teachers. The main findings using the Likert scale show that the effectiveness of the system before implementation reached a score of 56.19, while after implementation, the SUS score reached 93.2, indicating an increase in assessment effectiveness. In conclusion, this system is effective in supporting accurate and transparent daily assessments, thereby having a positive impact on improving the quality of basic education in line with the principles of honesty and fairness.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the health system demands the use of clinical data more strategically to support evidence-based decision-making. This study aims to explore the application of the K-Means Clustering algorithm in patient segmentation based on a combination of vital signs (systolic and diastolic blood pressure) and demographic characteristics (age, weight, and gender). Data on 1,401 outpatients was obtained from the medical record system of a hospital in Indonesia, then processed through the stages of preprocessing, standardization, and dimensionality reduction using PCA. The results of the elbow method showed that the optimal number of clusters was 3 (k=3). Descriptive analysis showed that Cluster 0 consisted of 100% women with normal blood pressure (124/77 mmHg) and an average body weight of 55.6 kg; Cluster 1 consists of the majority of women with high blood pressure (160.8/98.8 mmHg); while Cluster 2 includes 100% of men with blood pressure leading to pre-hypertension (130.1/80.7 mmHg). PCA visualizations show fairly clear cluster separation, with Cluster 1 having the most clinically distinct characteristics. The conclusion of this study is that the K-Means-based unsupervised learning approach is effective in identifying latent risk patterns in patient populations, as well as the potential to support clinical risk mapping and preventive health policies. Future recommendations include the integration of this method in EMR systems and the expansion of studies on national datasets.

Abstract

This study examines the factors influencing the successful implementation of Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) in companies, particularly in the context of the increasing need for data integration and operational effectiveness due to advances in information technology. Although EIS can offer various strategic benefits such as increased efficiency, information accuracy, and interdepartmental coordination, its implementation often encounters obstacles due to technical complexity and organizational readiness. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature review, this study identifies key elements of successful implementation, including organizational readiness, top management support, human resource competency, system alignment with business processes, and an adaptive organizational culture. The results indicate that implementation success is determined not only by system quality but also by the organization's ability to manage change, overcome user resistance, and ensure the system aligns with the company's strategic needs. These findings confirm that EIS implementation requires a holistic approach that integrates human factors, business processes, and technology for optimal system performance and long-term value for the company.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the level of user acceptance of the website-based airline ticket booking system at MMBC Travel using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The TAM model is used to measure the influence of the variables Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Effectiveness, Attitude Toward Use, and Behavioral Intention to Use on user acceptance of the system. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who were active users of the system. Data analysis was conducted using path analysis to examine the relationships between the variables in the model. The results showed that all relationships between the tested variables had a positive and significant impact. The average user perception score was above 3.5 on a scale of 5, indicating that the information system was considered quite easy to use, useful, and well-received by users. Therefore, it can be concluded that the website-based airline ticket booking system at MMBC Travel meets the aspects of ease of use and usefulness, making it worthy of continued use and development.
