Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based sales information system for the Furnie application using a perpetual inventory recording method. The system is built using the Waterfall approach and technologies such as PHP, MySQL, and Laravel. The main goal is to improve transaction recording efficiency, inventory data accuracy, and support a more structured and responsive business process. The implementation results indicate that the system effectively facilitates product and order management, as well as automated reporting through a user-friendly interface. It also supports third-party service integration, notifications, and promotional features, contributing to enhanced user satisfaction. This approach positions Furnie as a suitable digital solution for modernizing furniture store operations in a more efficient and adaptive way.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of seminar exam scheduling at UIN Alauddin Makassar through the development of the DZIKR (Exam Schedule Notification System) application. The problem addressed is the lack of coordination and the potential for miscommunication arising from the manual process of disseminating schedules to lecturers. As a solution, this study developed a web-based exam reminder system integrated with a WhatsApp chatbot to deliver real-time notifications. The methodology involved system development and quantitative analysis to measure its impact. The findings show that the implementation of the DZIKR system significantly improved scheduling efficiency, achieving a rate of 94.5%. However, its effectiveness was recorded at a lower rate of 5.36%. This discrepancy is attributed to the passive nature of the notifications, as the system functions only as a one-way information dispatcher without requiring further user interaction. Nevertheless, it is concluded that the DZIKR system serves as an effective reminder tool that enhances lecturers' awareness of the established schedules. The system has proven successful in addressing the efficiency issue; however, further development is required to incorporate interactive features to boost its overall effectiveness.

Abstract

Improving access to higher education through the KIP-Kuliah scholarship program faces challenges in the selection process, particularly in determining recipients efficiently and objectively amid evolving policies and socioeconomic conditions. At UIN Alauddin Makassar, the selection process for 2,380 applicants in 2024 resulted in a heavy administrative burden on the Student Affairs Bureau, with final decisions made at the rectorate level. This study aims to develop a decision support system based on the Naive Bayes algorithm to assist in the computerized classification of scholarship eligibility. The model was trained using 350 data entries and tested on 150 entries, achieving an accuracy rate of 96.67%, indicating strong classification performance. The confusion matrix showed 145 correct predictions out of 150 test data, with precision, recall, and F1-score values all above 0.95. The system facilitates automated data management and eligibility prediction, reducing process complexity and accelerating decision-making. Black-box testing confirmed that the system functions according to specifications, suggesting that the implementation of the Naive Bayes algorithm can enhance the scholarship selection process to be more accurate, efficient, and fair—particularly for students from underprivileged backgrounds.

Abstract

The use of information technology has become a crucial need for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in the digital era, despite frequent constraints in funding and technical resources. This study aims to explore the use of WordPress CMS as an affordable and easily implementable sales information system solution for UMKM. WordPress was chosen due to its flexibility in managing various products, including food and manufactured goods, at a lower cost compared to custom system development. The research method includes analyzing WordPress implementation for UMKM, identifying its strengths and weaknesses, and comparing costs with custom-built systems. The results indicate that WordPress can be an effective and economical solution for UMKM, offering various plugins that can be tailored to business needs without requiring deep technical expertise. This study provides practical guidance for UMKM in utilizing WordPress to enhance online sales with minimal budgets, while also contributing to the literature on the application of low-cost technology to support MSME growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

The design of a web-based information system addresses issues in proxy shopping services (jastip), which are often conducted manually via social media and prone to fraud. This study introduces Titipgo, a platform enabling secure, efficient, and structured transactions. The methodology includes PIECES analysis to identify system weaknesses and UML modeling (use case and activity diagrams) for design. The system supports four roles: admin, proxy shopper (jastiper), buyer, and owner, with core features like account management, product catalog, order tracking, payment processing, and reviews. A responsive UI was prototyped in Figma, tailored for each user role. Results confirm Titipgo enhances professionalism and trust in proxy shopping operations. This system sets a foundation for improving security and efficiency in collaborative e-business.

Abstract

Maintaining optimal environmental conditions in pharmacies is crucial for preserving the quality of pharmaceutical products and ensuring the well-being of staff and patients. This study presents the development of a real-time environmental monitoring system based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology, specifically implemented at Apotek Waras Barokah. The system is equipped with a DHT22 sensor to measure ambient temperature and humidity, as well as an MQ-135 sensor to detect harmful gases such as ammonia, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide. These sensors are integrated with the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, which transmits data via WiFi to the Blynk platform for continuous observation. In addition, the system incorporates an automatic notification feature through the Telegram application to promptly alert users when critical thresholds are exceeded. Two fans are activated through relay modules to stabilize room conditions when necessary, while real-time data is also displayed locally using an LCD I2C. Test results indicate that the system performs reliably in detecting environmental anomalies and provides responsive control actions. This research contributes an efficient and scalable prototype that supports safer pharmaceutical storage and has the potential to be adopted in various healthcare settings.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to formulate the design of Dixstore10's front-end application interface by applying the design thinking method, which focuses on user needs. Dixstore10 is a local shoe store that supports local products and offers quality shoes to different groups. In this study, the design thinking approach is implemented in five main steps, which form the core of this method. In the "Empathize" phase, surveys and interviews are conducted to further understand user needs. In the next phase, "Define," the main problems to be solved are clearly formulated. This process develops user goals, which form the basis for developing the design structure. "Ideate" visualizes the initial concept through a sitemap, while "Prototype" represents the solution design using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript technologies. The tests were conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method and yielded an average score of 80.3, indicating positive user acceptance of the designed interface. The results of this study not only make an important contribution to the development of the Dixstore10 application, but also serve as a reference for other MSMEs in designing user-centric digital platforms. The iterative approach ensures relevant and functional solutions to support the growth of the MSME sector.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a website-based digital invitation ordering information system that is integrated with WhatsApp services. This system was developed as a solution to the need for efficiency in the process of ordering and distributing invitations that are environmentally friendly. The system design uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach to visualize the overall system requirements. The main features developed include invitation ordering, design catalog selection, user and admin account management, and automatic notification via WhatsApp. This system is expected to increase the effectiveness and efficiency in managing orders by the admin, as well as provide convenience for customers in placing orders quickly, accurately, and flexibly. The test results show that this system can run well and meet user needs. With this system, the process of ordering and distributing invitations becomes more practical, modern, and in accordance with the development of digital technology today.

Abstract

Nabila Dental Clinic is a dental health service provider that previously implemented a conventional queuing system, where patients had to come directly to take the queue number and come back at different times to undergo the examination. This system poses various problems, such as wasting time, additional costs, patient discomfort, and inefficiencies in services. This research aims to design and implement a web-based queuing information system to overcome these problems. The system is built using the First Come First Served (FCFS) algorithm that prioritizes fairness and simplicity in queue distribution, as well as the Rapid Application Development (RAD) software development method that emphasizes speed and user engagement through the stages of needs analysis, design, prototyping, and system testing. Data collection techniques include direct observation in the field, interviews with related parties, and literature studies to support the design of the system. The results of the study show that the web-based queue information system is able to provide real solutions to the problems faced by Nabila Dental Clinic. The online queue number collection feature allows patients to make queue bookings without having to come in person, reducing waiting times and improving service efficiency. The system test with the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method obtained a user acceptance rate of 84.34%, while the system efficiency aspect scored 4.51 on a scale of 5, which indicates that the system is classified as very efficient. In addition to technical aspects, this system also reflects Islamic values such as justice and convenience in health services. Thus, the implementation of this system is expected to be a strategic step towards the digitization of services that are sustainable, efficient, and oriented towards patient satisfaction at Nabila Dental Clinic.

Abstract

This study investigates the multifaceted factors shaping user experience in the adoption of AI-based information systems within healthcare settings. As artificial intelligence increasingly supports clinical decision-making processes, understanding the psychological and behavioral dimensions of user interaction becomes imperative. Utilizing a qualitative systematic literature review approach, this research synthesizes findings from scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2025. The analysis reveals three critical determinants influencing user experience: trust in AI, perceived usefulness, and ease of use. These factors play a central role in shaping technology acceptance, which acts as a mediating variable linking system attributes to overall user experience. Furthermore, digital literacy emerges as a moderating factor that either amplifies or diminishes the effects of the core determinants. To provide a comprehensive framework, the study integrates theoretical constructs from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), and Trust in Automation Theory. The resulting conceptual model underscores the interplay between user perceptions, cognitive processes, and external technological factors. Key findings emphasize the significance of user-centered system design, transparent and interpretable AI communication, and targeted digital literacy initiatives to promote broader and more effective adoption. From a theoretical standpoint, the research contributes to the evolving literature by combining behavioral science perspectives with information system adoption theories. Practically, the study offers valuable insights for system developers, designers, and healthcare institutions aiming to implement AI technologies effectively. Recommendations include fostering transparency in AI decision-making, ensuring intuitive system interfaces, and offering digital competency training tailored to diverse user profiles. Overall, this study underscores that a nuanced understanding of user-related factors is essential for maximizing the potential benefits of AI in healthcare and achieving sustainable digital transformation in clinical environments.
