Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of container loading and unloading activities on the community around Tanjung Priok Port, especially the impact of environmental pollution caused by loading and unloading activities that cause various negative impacts that have an impact on the level of comfort and public health. This research also aims to be a study material for central and regional planning between industrial activities, especially ports and community settlements. In this study, the method used is quantitative research method using SEM Path analysis research technique with a total of 100 respondents. The results showed that loading and unloading activities at Tanjung Priok port disrupted behavior patterns and community comfort. The central and local governments must have careful planning in regulating regional spatial planning and be firm in enforcing regulations related to the environmental impact of industrial activities, especially ports to minimize the impact caused.

Abstract

Indonesia as an archipelago with thousands of islands and a population of more than 255 million people has a vital need for transportation, especially air. Air transportation is considered superior in terms of speed and relatively better safety. The growth of the air transportation sector is considered to reflect economic growth. Repurchase intention is important for airline companies as it has a direct impact on their business continuity and success. This study aims to investigate the factors that influence the repurchase intention of Super Air Jet customers, considering the role of brand image as a mediator. This study utilizes quantitative research methods with purposive sampling. With respondents over 20 years old and have used SAJ Airline. Respondents collected were 160 respondents. The data was analyzed using SEM-PLS 3.0 software with outer model and inner model tests. The findings found that Digital Content Marketing has no significant effect on Repurchase Intention when mediated by Brand Image. In contrast, Price Fairness and Brand Image play a siqnificant role in influencing repurchase intentions as they create positive perceptions and build strong relationships between customers and companies.

Abstract

Sunda Kelapa Port is one of the largest ports in Indonesia that specifically handles traditional ships activities. The loading and unloading services of various commodities at this port are still not optimal in accordance with the complaints of service users. In this regard, this study is aimed at finding various root causes of suboptimal loading and unloading activities through measuring the standard time of loading and unloading activities and analyzing the income level of stevedoring workers (TKBM). This type of research is quantitative research to measure standard time against six commodities as a sample with time and motion study analysis methods. The results of the analysis showed that the standard time obtained in the six commodities sampled was unloading oilcake, sago and kaolin by 7 minutes, 8 minutes, 9 minutes and for loading salt, rice and fertilizer by 7.4 minutes, 7.3 minutes and 7.3 minutes with income levels for unloading work of 200%, 200% and 238% of payroll calculations with real time and for loading work of 205%, 200% and 200% of payroll calculations with real time. The productivity of unloading work is 20.88% and loading is 14.87%, meaning that loading and unloading work at Sunda Kelapa Port has not met the loading and unloading performance standards of non-container goods in accordance with the Regulation of the Director General of Sea Transportation.

Abstract

This study highlights the critical importance of reducing lead time for healthcare clients, given their need for quick product rotations and the complexity involved in picking and delivering healthcare products. Challenges such as supply and demand unpredictability and third-party payer issues necessitate adjustments in lead time for custom orders, which require extensive communication and resource management. The study uses a systematic literature review that aims to enhance efficiency by reducing lead time through the automation of repetitive tasks and rapid data analysis to meet customer satisfaction in the healthcare industry. This study will use quantitative methods and Lean Six Sigma to achieve these improvements. The results indicate that improving workflows and managing production schedules are essential for meeting deadlines and ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the impact of ticket sales digitalization and port infrastructure on service quality at PT. PELNI, focusing on reducing ticket counter queues and improving operational efficiency. In the digital era, shipping companies are required to enhance service efficiency and convenience through adequate technology and infrastructure. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 122 respondents via a Likert scale questionnaire. The results indicate that while digitalization and port infrastructure collectively improve service quality, only port infrastructure independently has a significant effect. Although digitalization alone does not show a significant impact, it contributes to operational efficiency. This study provides practical insights for PT. PELNI, highlighting the importance of robust infrastructure development for service quality improvement, alongside the use of digital solutions to boost operational efficiency. The findings are expected to guide PT. PELNI’s management in enhancing customer satisfaction and competitiveness in the shipping industry.

Abstract

This study evaluates the YOLOv8 deep learning model for vehicle detection on Jalan RS Fatmawati, Jakarta, using publicly available CCTV footage. Extensive pre-processing and data augmentation enhance model robustness, with performance assessed through metrics like mAP, precision, recall, and F1-score. Results indicate YOLOv8's high accuracy and reliability in real-time vehicle detection across various weather and lighting conditions, offering significant implications for urban planning and traffic management. The research also compares YOLOv8 with previous models (YOLOv4 and YOLOv5), revealing superior performance under specific conditions but challenges in extreme environments. These findings underline the model's practical utility and identify areas for future research.

Abstract

The growth of the logistics sector in Indonesia has highlighted the importance of sustainable practices, including the adoption of green warehouses. This study investigates the factors influencing interest in green warehouse adoption, focusing on warehouse leader orientation, knowledge of green warehouses, and awareness of green warehouse regulations. Using a quantitative approach with a survey of 43 respondents from two institutions, the study employed Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) for analysis. The findings reveal that knowledge of green warehouses significantly and positively impacts the interest in adoption, while warehouse leader orientation and knowledge of regulations show no significant influence. The study underscores the importance of enhancing knowledge and awareness about green warehouses to promote their adoption and contribute to environmental sustainability in the logistics sector.

Abstract

In the airline industry, this study analyzes how social media marketing activities affect brand equity (perceived quality and brand loyalty) as well as consumers' intentions to buy. A questionnaire was distributed to 125 Instagram users who were airline passengers for obtaining quantitative data. The information were handled and investigated utilizing SEM-PLS 4.1.0.6. According to the study, social mdia marketing increases brand loyalty and brand quality perception. Purchase intentions are also significantly influenced by loyalty and perceived quality. Additionally, the study indicates that all moderating effect variables, such as brand loyalty and perceived quality, are involved in mediating the impact of social media marketing on purchase intentions. The findings are expected to be relevant for social media activity strategies, particularly for airlines in Indonesia.
