Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kurang aktif belajar dan guru lebih banyak menggunakan metode ceramah dalam proses pembelajaran.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Mazino.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research).Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII sebanyak 16 orang dan menurut hasil belajar siswa, pada siklus I 60,94, jumlah siswa yang tuntas pada siklus sebanyak 7 orang, tingkat ketuntasan hanya 43,75%, sedangkan jumlah siswa sebanyak 9 orang, 56,25% tidak menyelesaikan siklusnya.Pada Siklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 80,31 dan seluruh siswa yang berjumlah 16 orang lulus dengan tingkat ketuntasan 100%.Kesimpulan penelitian adalah penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Mazino.Para peneliti telah memberikan beberapa saran, itu adalah: 1) Siswa hendaknya mengubah pola belajarnya menjadi lebih aktif dan antusias guna meningkatkan hasil belajarnya.2) Dalam melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar, guru perlu menerapkan model pembelajaran ``pembelajaran berbasis masalah'' yang melibatkan siswa dalam pembelajaran aktif sehingga siswa tidak bosan dengan kegiatan belajar mengajar.3) Sekolah hendaknya mempunyai sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung pembelajaran terkait pembelajaran agar lebih memudahkan proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research is motivated by student activity and student learning motivation which tends to be low. The purpose of this research is to 1) Describe the role of teachers in increasing students' learning motivation in social studies lessons in class VIII of BNKP Teluk Dalam Christian Private Middle School. 2) Describe students' learning motivation in social studies lessons in class VIII of BNKP Teluk Dalam Christian Private Middle School. Type of qualitative research. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation. Research results and conclusions: 1) The role of teachers in increasing students' learning motivation is giving praise, providing understanding for good learning, forming good study habits, helping children with learning difficulties, using varied methods, and using learning media. 2) Students who have motivation to learn, study regularly, make a study schedule, have the desire to succeed in studying, are enthusiastic about learning, and complete their study assignments well. Students who have low learning motivation: study irregularly, are less active in learning, have low curiosity, and do not have the courage to ask and answer questions given by the teacher. Suggestions 1) For students, they should understand study time and play time and be active in learning activities and always pay attention and listen to the teacher during lessons so they understand what the teacher is teaching. 2) Teachers should pay more attention to each student's difficulties because each student definitely has different understanding and learning problems. 3) Parents of students should give full attention to their children in learning by encouraging, guiding and helping overcome learning difficulties experienced by students.

Abstract

The background to the problem is that the learning process is still teacher-centered and does not involve students taking an active role in the learning process, students do not understand the material about the human digestive system, and student learning outcomes are low. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the problem based learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Maniamolo. This type of research is quasi experimental. The population of this study was class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Maniamolo. This research data was analyzed using the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test using the SPSS 2.1 application. The results of this study showed that the average initial test for the control class was 65.38 while for the experimental class it was 66.33. The final test average of the control class was 74.23 while the experimental class was 80.00. From the student learning results in these two classes, there is an influence of the problem based learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Maniamolo. It can be said that the control class and experimental class have more students who meet the KKM score using the problem based learning model compared to student learning outcomes using the conventional model and while participating in learning activities using the problem based learning model students understand better which can be seen in the student learning outcomes with final test of experimental class. The material in this research is the human digestive system, which is the process carried out by the digestive tract in the human body so that food can be processed and absorbed by its nutrients and turned into energy. So it can be concluded that students are able to develop creative thinking skills and are able to solve the problems faced or discussed. Researcher suggestions (1) teachers should use varied learning models such as problem based learning models to improve student learning outcomes and be able to think critically, creatively and actively. (2) Researchers should carry out this research with reference source materials and broader insight.

Abstract

This research was motivated by researchers' interest because they had problems regarding the inappropriate use of diction when speaking. So, researchers conducted research on analyzing errors in the use of diction by apple coaches. This is due to several factors, namely limited mastery of vocabulary, the habit of using Indonesian inappropriately, lack of proper knowledge of the language in a formal environment. Diction is an important thing to pay attention to when communicating. Because good words when speaking will have a positive impact on the listener. One of the speaking activities is when speaking at the morning assembly activity. There are many speaking activities, one of which is being a supervisor at school. The aim of this research is to describe diction errors by the supervisor of Apel SMP Negeri 1 Toma, Toma District, Academic Year 2023/2024. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Based on the results of the research, there were (3) types of errors in the use of diction, namely errors in the use of antonym diction, there were (2) data, errors in the use of synonymous diction, there were (6) data. , and errors in the use of non-standard diction are found in (6) data. The total number is (14) data. Based on the research results, the researcher suggests (1) Indonesian language teachers use this diction as material in delivering material about diction as a teaching medium. (2) The researcher advises readers to apply the use of diction to their daily lives, not just memorizing theory, but taking lessons about the use of important diction from each speaker at an event. (3) It is hoped that this research will motivate readers to study other aspects of the use of diction. If necessary, students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program should empower the study of this research as a form of appreciation activity.

Abstract

Learning assessment is an integrated part of learning activities in the classroom with the aim of feedback for teachers, learners, and parents to determine strategies for the next lesson. This study aims to determine the increase in learning activities of students by implementing non-cognitive diagnostic assessment in Class X economic subjects in SMA Negeri 1 Fanayama. The findings of the study showed that the results of non-cognitive diagnostic assessment tests showed the existence of 3 learning styles of Class X Aristotle students. After the application of learning adapted to the type of student learning, there are changes in student learning activities that show an increase when compared with learning activities before the known type of student learning. It can be concluded that the implementation of non-cognitive diagnostic assessment can improve the learning activities of students in Class X Aristotle on economic subjects. Suggestions offered by researchers, should be before organizing learning activities, teachers first conduct diagnostic assessments at the beginning of learning to make it easier for teachers to design learning that improves learning activities of students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a contextual learning model for the topic of projectile motion by integrating Hombo Batu activities as a form of local wisdom from the South Nias community. Hombo Batu, or the traditional stone-jumping ritual, is a physical activity rich in two-dimensional kinematics elements, such as initial velocity, angle of elevation, and parabolic trajectory. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method based on Sugiyono's development model, which includes the following stages: identifying potential and problems, data collection, product design, validation, revision, and limited trials. Validation results from subject matter experts and media experts indicated that the developed learning model achieved a high level of validity (Aiken’s V > 0.85), categorized as “highly feasible.” A limited trial conducted with junior high school students in South Nias showed that the model effectively improved students' understanding of projectile motion, with an average N-Gain score of 0.56 (moderate to high category). Additionally, the implementation of the model led to increased learning motivation and greater appreciation of local culture among the students. This model not only enhances conceptual understanding in physics but also strengthens students’ character and cultural identity through a learning approach that is contextual, meaningful, and applicable. Therefore, the Hombo Batu-based contextual learning model is recommended as an innovative alternative for teaching physics, particularly in regions rich in local cultural values.

Abstract

Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah bahwa proses pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru dan guru masih belum menggunakan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia melalui strategi pembelajaran inquiry di Kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Susua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Instrumen ini yaitu tes tertulis dan observasi. Kondisi awal pada penelitian ini adanya upaya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inquiri kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Susua dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran karena siswa yang berperan aktif, banyak siswa mengajukan permasalahan dan juga menyelesaikan masalah, melatih siswa menyampaikan pendapat, siswa mampu mengumpulkan informasi, siswa aktif dalam diskusi, siswa mampu menyimpulkan hasil pembelajaran dan siswa mampu membentuk kerjasama dalam sebuah kelompok diskusi Pada siklus II menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inquiri dengan pemberian tes kepada siswa diakhir pembelajaran bahwa banyak siswa yang tuntas dengan kategori hasil belajar sangat baik sekali dan berbeda dengan pada siklus pertama bahwa hasil belajar siswa tidak memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Kesimpulan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inquiri kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Susua. Saran untuk guru agar menjadikan strategi pembelajaran inquiri sebagai alternatif yang layak dipertimbangkan dalam pembelajaran. Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi yang relevan dengan cakupan yang lebih luas lagi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of teachers in shaping student character and the obstacles in shaping the character of class XI students at Hoya Sejahtera Private High School, Somambawa District, South Nias Regency. Teachers are the main facilitators in schools, whose function is to explore, develop and optimize their potential so that they become part of a civilized society. The teacher's role in this research is as a demonstrator, class manager, mediator, facilitator, evaluator and motivator. This type of research is descriptive type qualitative research. Data collection used interview and observation methods. In analyzing the data, researchers used the Miles & Huberman model of qualitative data analysis and checked the validity of the research data using triangulation techniques. Based on the results of research and discussion, it shows that: the driving factors include: example from teachers, adequate facilities and infrastructure, providing motivation, namely awards in the form of added value to students who are active in learning activities. Inhibiting factors include: a) Factors within students, b) Environmental influences, c) Lack of attention from parents. 3) Efforts made to overcome the factors inhibiting character formation are a) Teachers providing understanding, b) Habituation of behavior, c) Reprimands, d) Awareness from parents and e) Effective communication.

Abstract

Strategi pemasaran yang tepat merupakan salah satu cara bagi para pengusaha dalam mengembangkan dan mempertahankan usaha. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi pemasaran di Toko Ninelco Kaca Telukdalam. Pendekatan deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data primer yaitu hasil wawancara kepada pemilik dan konsumen Toko Ninelco Kaca Telukdalam, sumber data sekunder dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui dokumentasi (foto tempat usaha, foto wawancara, jenis produk yang diproduksi,) riset pustaka terhadap buku/jurnal/penelitian terdahulu. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, data display, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian: 1) Strategi pemasaran terdiri dari strategi produk, strategi harga, dan strategi promosi. 2) Kegiatan pemasaran dilakukan dengan harga disesuaikan dengan modal yang dikeluarkan, dan harga setiap produk cenderung lebih murah dibanding kompetitor. Jenis produk yang diproduksi yaitu lemari piring, lemari pakaian, tempat dispenser, lemari gantung dapur, jemuran pakaian, rak sepatu, cermin, kaca rumah, kaca jendela rumah, pintu dan jendela kantor, serta juga menjual tempat rokok, etalase, dan memasang partisi. Promosi yang dilakukan Toko Ninelco Kaca melalui facebook dan menggunakan spanduk. Kesimpulan: strategi pemasaran Toko Ninelco Kaca Telukdalam yaitu strategi produk, strategi harga, dan strategi promosi. Saran 1) Toko Ninelco Kaca hendaknya menghadirkan bauran pemasaran yang lebih baik. Seperti dalam hal promosi bisa ditambahkan lagi untuk melakukan promosi online sehingga dapat meningkatkan penjualan, merekrut karyawan untuk mendukung penjualan, dan memilih tempat usaha yang lebih strategis. 2) Kepada masyarakat agar lebih cerdas dalam memilih produk yang mempunyai mutu dan kualitas yang bagus, dan lebih mengutamakan produk-produk daerah sendiri

Abstract

This research is motivated by uniqueness, namely that the novel Sulaman Hands of God is a literary work that is very interesting and contains the reader's curiosity, contains character education values ​​that can be taken up by the reader. This study is able to provide benefits for the reader, to be grateful for what God has given, and to understand the meaning of friendship because a friend is a place where we share happiness. The aim of this research is to describe the values ​​of character education in the novel Embroidery of God's Hands by Amaliah Chotib. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. As a result of the research, the researcher found 8 types of character education values ​​contained in the novel Sulaman Hands of God by Amaliah Chotib, namely 13 religious values, 2 honesty values, 4 tolerance values, 7 curiosity values, 5 friendly/communicative values, 5 There are 2 love of peace, 6 social care values, 2 responsibility values, and in total there are 41 quotes. The conclusion in this research is that this novel has many character values. The more dominant character education values ​​are religious values ​​with 13 quotes and there are 10 types of character education values ​​which are not found in this novel because they tend to discuss values ​​relating to life in friendship. This novel is a serious type of novel because it invites readers to understand, absorb, reflect more seriously, and take away the learning or wisdom contained in it. Suggestions, to teachers, it is best to use the novel Sulaiman Gan's Hand by Amaliah Chotib because it contains character education values ​​that can be taken as learning for students and to prepare themselves to become teachers who have knowledge about literature. And for future researchers, as reference material for conducting relevant research.
