Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a valid, practical, and effective statistics module that can improve students' understanding of concepts. ThisiresearchiisiDevelopmentiResearch, ithe developmentimodeliusediisitheiADDIEimodel, namly Analisis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data colection instruments use were questionnaires and tests. While the data analysis techniques are qualitative data analysis and quantitativ data analysis. The research results for the level of validity of the module seen from the material aspects, media aspects, and language aspects obtained with a proportion of 84.04% and are in the Valid criteria. The practicality test results from the limited trial student response numbers obtained an average score of 4.75 in the very practical category, and for field trial students an average score of 4.47 was obtained in the very practical category. The results of the effectiveness test of student learning outcomes for limited trials obtained the proportion of 80.67% in the effective category, and for students in the field trials obtained the proportion of 80.24% with the effective category. To increase understanding of concepts in limited trials and field trials, students each obtained an average score of 0.54 and 0.65 in the moderate category. So it can be concluded that the module is valid, practical and effective and can improve students' understanding of concepts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by people who do not cultivate this purple golden plant (ruellia tuberosa) because it is only considered as an ornamental plant, when in fact this plant can actually provide good benefits, let alone used as herbal medicine. This study aims to determine the use of the purple golden plant as herbal medicine in Eho Hilisimaetano Village, Maniamolo District and to determine the perception of the people of Eho Hilisimaetano Village about the use of purple golden plant as herbal medicine. This research is a type of qualitative research with the number of informants as many as 4 (four) people. The source of data in this study is observations at the research site. The technique of collecting data is by using interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used a method consisting of three stages, namely reduction, data modeling, and drawing conclusions. The results in this study are the use of the purple golden plant as a herbal medicine has several benefits, namely reducing kidney inflammation, relieving cough disease, treating injured skin, relieving hypertension, treating ulcer disease, relieving skin allergies. The conclusion in this study there are 3 ways to mix, namely by pounding, boiling, and drying. Suggestions in this research is to hope that this research can be useful for students, as a reference or comparison in conducting further research.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to understand mathematical concepts, the lack of teaching materials that support the learning process and the teaching materials used are less attractive and difficult to reach. The research aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective power and root form module, as well as to improve students' mathematical concept understanding abilities. The research method uses research development (R&D) with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). The research instrument used a questionnaire and a test. Data analysis techniques are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data. Based on the results of the validity test, the percentage of material is 91.66%, the design is 85.5% and the language is 94% with very valid criteria. The results of the practicality test are based on the teacher's response, 90% of the criteria are very practical, the response of the limited trial is 80% of the practical criteria and the response of the field trial is 86.95%. The criteria are very practical. The results of the effectiveness test from the results of student learning tests for limited trials obtained an average of 74.80 criteria were quite effective and field trials 76.90 criteria were effective. The results of the N-gain analysis are the improvement of students' mathematical concept understanding abilities. For the limited trial 0.60 and the field test 0.58 with the medium category. Based on these results, it is said that the power and form module meets the valid, practical, and effective criteria and improves students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The researcher suggests that this module can be used to improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts, especially in the matter of powers and roots.

Abstract

Berdasarkan permasalah yang ditemukan di.SMA negeri 1 Aramo bahwa. proses pembelajaran biologi kelas XI-MIPA khususnya materi jaringan pada tumbuhan masih berpusat pada guru dan belum memiliki penuntun praktikum. Hal ini mengakibatkan banyak siswa yang kurang. termotivasi untuk belajar secara mandiri untuk mememcahkan masalah yang di alami dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini. bertujuan untuk menghasilkan penuntun praktikum berbasis discovery learning, jenis penelitian ini adalah. penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4D. Penuntun praktikum diuji coba. terbatas kepada 25 siswa. kelas XI-MIPA SMA N 1 Aramo. Dimana hasil yang dilakukan oleh validator dengan nilai 3,7 kategori sangat valid, respon guru terhadap. penuntun praktikum jaringan pada tumbuhan berbasis discovery learning dengan nilai rata-rata 3,55 kategori sangat praktis, uji praktikalitas. oleh siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 3,4 kategori. praktis. Hasil pengamatan motivasi siswa dengan nilai. rata-rata 3,3 kategori tinggi, dan ranah kognitif sebelum menggunakan penuntun praktikum jaringan pada tumbuhan berbasis discovery learning dengan rata-rata nilai 79,08/lulus sedangkan ranah kognitif dengan menggunakan penutnun praktikum jaringan pada tumbuhan berbasis discovery learning dengan rata-rata nilai 85,4/lulus. Maka melalui hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan penuntun praktikum jaringan pada tumbuhan dinyatakan. valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk menunjang hasil. belajar siswa.

Abstract

Mathematics is a very important subject in education because mathematics can develop logical reasoning, understand concepts and provide skills to students. The lack of adequate learning resources makes mathematics lessons difficult for students and affects students' understanding of concepts. The purpose of this research is to develop a statistical module that is valid, practical, and effective and can improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) research and development methods. The development model used is the 4-D model (Four D-Models), namely; Define, Design, Development, Dissemination. The results of the validation test were obtained from expert validators, namely material expert validators, design expert validators, and linguist validators with an average value of 84.29 with a valid category. The results of the practicality test were obtained from the results of the students' responses to the limited class trial of 91.12% with a high category and very practical criteria, the results of the student responses from field trials being 92.74% with a high category, and very practical criteria. The results of the effectiveness trial were obtained from the results of student learning tests after using the module. The increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts was seen in the limited class trial, the pret-test with an average score of 38.18, for the post- test an average score of 83.18 with an N-gain score of 0.8 in the high category. The field trial obtained an average pret-test score of 31.66, for the post-test the average score was 76.38 with an N-gain score of 0.65 in the high category. So it can be concluded that this module has met the valid, practical and effective criteria to be used as teaching materials. The researcher hopes that this module can be used to improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts, especially in statistical material.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how transparent the village head is in carrying out Hilisoromi village programs, Toma District, South Nias Regency. The location of this research was carried out in Hilisoromi Village, Toma District, South Nias Regency with a population of 700 people, consisting of 320 men and 380 women. This research uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are (1) observation; (2) interviews; and (3) documentation. The data analysis techniques used are (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; (3) conclusion and verification; (4) final conclusion. The results of this study indicate that (1) the transparency of the village government in carrying out programs in Hilisoromi Village, Toma District, South Nias Regency can be categorized as low. The village head's leadership style system, especially Hilisoromi Village, has a leadership type with a paternal nature, which is a leader who considers his subordinates as immature humans; (2) the programs of Hilisoromi Village, Toma District, were not carried out and were not implemented properly. Village programs implemented by village leaders, especially Hilisoromi village, have not been achieved effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The research was aimed at analyzing the productivity in novel Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland. Ľhis research employed qualitative research. In analyzing the data, the researcher used theory of Miles and Huberman; data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. As the result of this research is researcher found three kinds of productivity in novel of Alice Adventure in Wonderland: Productivity in shape, productivity in meaning and semantic blocking. And then found the most dominant productive word class in novel of Alice Adventure in Wonderland. The researcher found 63 adjectives attached by suffix –ly. 4 adjectives attached by suffix –ness, 2 adjectives attached by suffix –ity. Ľhen, 2 adjectives by suffix –ion, by suffix –ment is only one adjective. Ľhere were 7 nouns attached by suffix –ly and 3 verbs attached by suffix verb. Finally, it is conclude that some words can be productive if attached by some suffixes which agree by morphological process. For the suggestion, the researcher hoped learners to mastery productivity word because it helped to develop their vocabulary and added new knowledge. For the English teachers, it is suggested to remind the students about the usage of productivity and as reference in their teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Background based on behind problem that student depend on teaching as source main information about lesson, student reluctant ask on teaching so if there is this not yet undertood so that knowledge this have student depends for what this given teaching, teaching subjects biology not yet once apply method learning galley walk seen student not enough interested study, even student no focus when teaching explain theory learning. Study this aim knowing influence method learning galley walk to interest study student in class VIII Junior High School country 1 Lahusa Year learning 2021/2022. Type study is quantitave which character deskription. . Populaton in study is VIII whereas sample study is student in class VIII Junior High School country 1 Lahusa as experiment. Data study this analyzed whit use test normality and tes hypothesis with use aplication statistical product and service slution version 20. Result the value of sig. (2-tailed) is 0.021 < 0.05, it is known that t count -2.433 < t table 2.03452, it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed so that students have an interest in learning in participating in learning activities through the gallery walk method. Suggestions from researchers are 1) The teacher should use the gallery walk learning model in learning activities because it makes students study hard and there is an attraction obtained by studying Science-Biology 2) The next researcher should carry out this research with a wider scope

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan siswa yang masih dibawah KKM. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kemahiran menulis cerpen siswa kelas IX-2 SMA Swasta Kristen BNKP Telukdalam tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif bersifat deskriptif yang merupakan kajian pengembangan nilai numerik untuk mengukur kemampuan menulis cerpen sebanyak 30 siswa kelas IX-2 SMP Swasta Kristen BNKP Telukdalam Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling, dan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas IX-2 SMK Swasta BNKP Telukdalam yang berjumlah 30 orang. Tes tertulis dapat berfungsi sebagai alat. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan hasil penelitian dijelaskan secara numerik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kelas IX-2 SMA Swasta Kristen BNKP Telukdalam termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Berdasarkan kategori tersebut, guru bahasa Indonesia harus terus mengasah dan meningkatkan keterampilan tersebut dengan membekali siswa dengan latihan yang cukup dalam pembelajaran cerita pendek. Guru juga harus memberikan pemahaman tentang apa yang harus diperhatikan saat menulis, terutama kalimat pendek dan penilaian. Mengikuti rubrik penilaian cerpen dan penyisipan materi terkait aspek-aspek yang terdapat dalam cerpen, hendaknya siswa meningkatkan kebiasaan menulis cerpen, khususnya cerpen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesalahan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Fanayama dalam menulis karangan deskripsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan penulisan kata pada karangan deskripsi yang ditulis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Fanayama. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tugas siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi (gambar dan dokumen yang berhubungan dengan penelitian) langkah yang dilakukan penelitian yakni peneliti melakukan interaksi dengan guru mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia, memasuki ruangan, menugaskan siswa menulis karangan deskripsi, mengumpulkan hasil karangan siswa lalu peneliti memeriksa dan melakukan analisis data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam karangan deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Fanayama dengan jumlah 14 orang, terdapat kesalahan penulisan kata ulang, partikel, kata depan, kata ganti, gabungan kata, dan singkatan. Terdapat 12 kasus kesalahan penulisan kata ulang, 2 kesalahan penulisan partikel, 11 kesalahan penulisan kata depan, 6 kesalahan penulisan kata ganti, 1 kesalahan penulisan gabungan kata, dan 7 kesalahan penulisan singkatan. Kesalahan tersebut berupa penulisan yang tidak benar dalam menulisan karangan deskripsi. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa SMP Negeri 4 Fanayama masih ada yang terdapat kesalahan dalam penulisan karangan deskripsi. Saran yang diajukan peneliti yaitu (1) kepada guru untuk memperhatikan catatan-catatan siswa atau tugas-tugas yang diberikan, serta mengoreksi ketepatan penulisan yang digunakan oleh siswa, (2) kepada siswa atau penulis dapat menuangkan gagasan melalui tulisan dan perlu memperhatikan proses penulisan kata yang benar.
