Abstract

Modern digital life relies heavily on information systems (IS) to manage data efficiently, make better decisions, and increase productivity. Mr. Kusno's shop faces problems of goods management, finance, and product promotion. This research designs a customized information system to solve those problems, such as easier digital transaction recording, more optimized goods management, and better financial management. The implementation of this system is expected to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of Toko Pak Kusno. The development method used is the waterfall method, which ensures each step is carried out sequentially from analysis, design, implementation, to system testing. The results showed efforts in designing an information system that can improve the operational efficiency and service quality of Toko Pak Kusno in buying and selling goods and store management.

Abstract

In daily life activities, every human being will be faced with various problems that will require them to make the right decisions in order to solve these problems. So to make important decisions, more careful, unhurried and mature considerations will be needed. Decision making is also carried out by organizations and companies, for example at PT. To make it easier to select appropriate exemplary employees, based on the company's needs, a decision support system using the SMART method is used. The SMART method is more widely used in calculating alternatives and ranking, because it is simple in responding to researchers' needs in making decisions and analyzing responses. The author collected the data needed to be processed in selecting exemplary employees. This stage of the data collection process was obtained by the author from observation, interviews and literature studies. Criteria for evaluating exemplary employees include attendance, discipline, responsibility, work targets and length of service. After evaluating alternative employees, an exemplary employee with the highest score was obtained.

Abstract

This research aims to design a website-based online ticket booking system for climbing Mount Slamet via Dipajaya, Central Java. The current manual registration system poses issues such as time-consuming on-site registration and inefficient data management of hikers' information, including identities, hiking dates, and group sizes. Additionally, the inspection of hikers' belongings, which may contribute to waste, is not optimally conducted due to limited personnel. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method is employed to support the information system design, combining structured techniques, prototyping, and joint application development to expedite system development. The outcome of this research is the design of an eticketing and information system that enables hikers to conveniently book tickets online without queuing or visiting the location in person, thus facilitating data management and analysis for future service enhancement. The discussion encompasses system development processes, user requirements analysis, interface design, and system testing. In conclusion, the web-based e-ticketing and information system enhance ticket management efficiency and provide convenience for visitors to book tickets online, with potential for further service improvements in the future.

Abstract

Domestic abuse is a social problem in Indonesia that always be inherent and not easy to deal with, the rate of domestic abuse exploded when pandemic happen in Indonesia. in West Java alone there already 2000 case about domestic abuse that already registered. This number can be pressed if society have the courage and awareness about domestic abuse among them, as a victim or as a witness of the abuse. This multimedia application was designed for facilitate the socialization process of domestic abuse in order to cultivate courage in society to report if they see someone they know is a victim of domestic abuse. So, an information multimedia application of domestic abuse public service advertisements with a case study at the West Java Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and Family Planning Office was created. The methodology used is Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) that have 6 stages (concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution). The , multimedia application of domestic abuse public service advertisements was designed according to users need obtained from observation and implemented using Adobe Animate CC 2019 with Action Script 3.0 programming language.the testing of this application is using black box testing method show that this application running smoothly and fit to what the user wants. The result of this testing show that the average of the testing result from 3 category (design, feature, and user satisfaction) with 12 test parameters is 4,39 (87,8%).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a project monitoring system at PT. XYZ. The company faces several challenges, including difficulties for Project Managers and clients to obtain information from production employees regarding the progress of their work, and the lack of proper income reporting. This design is expected to help the company get information about the progress of work completed by production employees and to record advance payments and final payments for a project. The methodology used in this research is the waterfall methodology, which includes the stages of requirement, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. However, the author only uses two stages: requirement and design. In the design stage, the modeling of the system uses Unified modeling language (UML) diagrams, consisting of use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, and class diagram. For database design, the entity relationship diagram (erd) is used. To create the user interface (ui/ux) design, figma is used to facilitate the system design process. The results of this research include a design with three main features: Project Managers can monitor the progress of production employees' work, clients can monitor the progress of the projects they have submitted, and advance payments and final payments for a project can be recorded. The recommendation is to develop this design into a mobile-based application to make it more effective and efficient, and to add a feature for direct payment within the app for advance payments and final payments for a project.

Abstract

This study develops a Python-based application to evaluate password strength and provide more secure password recommendations using the NATO phonetic alphabet, True Random Number Generator (TRNG), and Pseudorandom Number Generator (PRNG). The application aims to enhance user security by generating passwords with high entropy. This entropy is influenced by character variation, password length, and the combination of symbols, numbers, and letters. The study shows that the more complex a password is, the longer it takes to be cracked. However, overly complex passwords are often difficult to remember, requiring a solution that maintains security without compromising usability. The developed application not only measures password strength but also provides stronger password recommendations through three methods. The first method replaces some password characters with the NATO phonetic alphabet, making them easier to remember. The second method adds random characters based on PRNG, while the third method combines TRNG and NATO to enhance password complexity. With this approach, the application offers a practical solution to improving digital security, helping users create stronger passwords that remain easy to use in daily life.
