Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Learning Activity Choice (PAB) learning model that has been developed previously. The method used is the Think, Pair, Share (TPS) method, the Jigsaw Learning Method, the Project Based Learning Method. The learning method will assist teachers in managing the classroom. The presence of learning methods will affect the learning activities of students so that they can be more conducive. Effective learning can be realized when the basic needs of all students are considered in planning, implementing, and assessing learning. The results of learning acquistion achieved by students after being involved in interaction with learning resources.

Abstract

Nomophobia is anxiety, discomfort feeling, or excessive fear arising from limited access to operating devices and/or internet services. Nomophobia has become a global problem due to the massive use of gadgets by people of all ages. In Indonesia, Nomophobia cases gained a lot of attention and peaked shortly before the Covid-19 Pandemic broke out. The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of early detection of Nomophobia and mental emotional disorders in junior high school students in Pemalang after a year of online learning with gadgets and internet as the main learning media. This research was a descriptive study with 78 respondents who were selected purposively with inclusion criteria: 1) junior high school students, 2) using gadgets, especially smartphones, as the main media in online learning, and 3) having taught through online learning for at least one year. The analysis of the data depicted that 65.82% of the respondents were at risk of Nomophobia. In addition, 29.12% of respondents were indicated to suffer mental emotional disorder. In addition, only 10.1% of the respondents were found to be free from emotional, behavioral, hyperactivity, and peer problems symptoms.

Abstract

The results of this study indicate that; 1) A visit to the Museum is something worthy of attention as a source of visual learning for students. Observation and analysis in deepening historical social studies material is a requirement for students in studying history, because children are required not only to have cognitive competence, but also affective and psychomotor. Through direct museum visits, it is hoped that it can change students' perceptions that social studies lessons are interesting and fun. The use of the museum has a positive impact on social studies learning, especially history, namely learning outside the classroom with a different atmosphere while at the same time increasing students' critical abilities. 2) Adjustment of competency standards and basic competencies for social studies subjects indirectly makes teachers also a source of learning that can increase student learning motivation. In addition, the learning objectives that have been planned will be strived to be achieved optimally so that the museum-based learning approach in social studies history is more effective. The realization of Project base learning assignments resulting from visits to museums becomes a student experience that is not only limited to visits but continues with discussions in class. 3) Utilization of Museums Museums are representative historical social studies learning resources to add insight and knowledge about past events so that students have love for their nation and homeland. Museum collections that are utilized in social studies history lessons for MTsN 2 Tanah Laut students have taught students to understand past events, learn to analyze and think critically. However, the use of museums must still be in accordance with basic competencies and learning objectives. The stages that must be carried out by students so that the implementation is optimal, namely: developing questions according to the theme given by the teacher to museum staff, data collection, data analysis and data synthesis. Students appreciate the museum visit by writing articles or scientific works about museums.

Abstract

Library promotion aims to attract visitors to the library. The IAIS Sambas Library is a university library that provides sources of information to students. This study looks at the extent to which promotion is carried out by the IAIS Sambas library. The method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and literature studies. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of data processing, it can be concluded that the IAIS Sambas library in promotion planning conducts user target analysis, library SWOT analysis, and determines the purpose of library promotion to determine which promotional media will be used. The promotion of the IAIS Sambas library uses individual sales, use of Facebook social media, blogs and word of mouth, and direct sales (whatsapp and email). The obstacle faced by the Pustakalana library in carrying out promotions was the lack of human and financial resources, so that the implementation of several activities was hampered.

Abstract

This paper analyzes Islamic education in the perspective of Zakiah Daradjat. is one of the figures of Indonesian Islamic education who pays great attention to Islamic education. This can be seen in his works and his direct involvement in the world of education. His ideas contributed greatly to the world of Indonesian Islamic education in particular. The method used in this study is library research, what is meant by literature research is research activities carried out by collecting data in the form of books, papers, articles, magazines, journals, web (internet) and the results of previous research that which is related to the ideas and thoughts of Zakiyah Daradjat in the field of Islamic education. The question to be answered in this paper is, how is Islamic education in the perspective of Zakiah Daradjat. The result of this study is, Islamic education in the perspective of Zakiah Daradjat is seen when he formulates and maps about the nature and objectives of Islamic education, the basis of Islamic education and the environment and responsibility of Islamic education.

Abstract

This objective reveals the learning outcomes of students in Indonesian subjects with the Quiz Team Learning Model. Learning Indonesian at school is often considered a boring lesson because it is full of lots of story text. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. This research is a classroom action research with three cycles. The subjects of this study were class III-A students at SDN Manukan Kulon II / 499 Surabaya, totaling 26 students with details of 10 male students and 16 female students. The use of data collection techniques consists of observation techniques, learning achievement tests, and field notes during learning activities. There was an increase from cycle I to cycle II and cycle III in teacher activity and students' Indonesian learning outcomes with the percentage results being teacher activity in cycle I of 63.04%, cycle II of 72.82%, and cycle III of 94 .56%. The learning outcomes of students classically increased in cycle I by 61.61, in cycle II by 76 and in cycle III by 92.15. Learning completeness also increased in cycle I by 23%, cycle II by 81%, and cycle III by 88%. From the results of the classroom action research conducted by the researchers, it was concluded that the Quiz Team learning model can improve learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons on energy and changes in class III-A students at SDN Manukan Kulon II / 499 Surabaya for the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Abstract

Learning in the classroom is an important part of the education process. If the implementation of learning in class is meaningful, it can produce quality students. The teacher has a big role in organizing the class, the teacher's ability to design learning that starts from mature teaching preparation. One of them is by applying a learning model that is suitable for use in learning to be able to improve student learning outcomes. The learning model that will be applied is the Team Games Tournament (TGT). The purpose of this study was to improve the results of learning Indonesian on landscape materials for fourth grade students by applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model at SDN Panggreh 2 Jabon Sidoarjo. The implementation of PTK is carried out through two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementing actions, observing, reflecting. Data collection techniques used by using tests, documentation. The success indicator of this PTK is the learning outcomes or the number of students who get a score according to KKM (> 55) of at least 75%. The learning outcomes in the first cycle were 71.42% with an average value of 67.14. The learning outcomes in cycle II were 96.42% with an average value of 82.14. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that by applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, it can improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language on landscape materials for fourth grade students at SDN Panggreh 2 Jabon Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Looking at the problems found by researchers in grade I of SDN Sukodono 1 Sidoarjo, such as the lack of teachers in the use of learning media in mathematics subjects. Very impactful on the understanding of concepts, learning activities and learning outcomes of students. So that researchers use learning media in the form of number pockets that intend to increase understanding of the concept of place value of a number. The subject of this study were grade I students of SDN Sukodono 1 Sidoarjo with a total of 20 people. Data in this study were collected using observation, test, interview, and documentation techniques. The implementation of class action research (PTK) is carried out in II cycles with each cycle 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The success indicator of PTK is said to be successful if students classically obtain a score greater than or equal to 75. Learning outcomes in the implementation of the first cycle were 45% with an average score of 64,1. And the learning outcomes in the implementation of cycle II are 80% with an average value of 84,75. Based on the result of the research conducted, it can be concluded that using number bag media in learning the place value of a number can increase understanding of concept of number place value. Therefore, it is better if teachers use number pocket learning media as one of the media that can help students in accepting and understanding the concept of place value.

Abstract

A planned web-based information system for KH. Mas Mansur at Muhammadiyah University aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of managing Islamic boarding schools' data and information. This system is designed to be accessed by users via the internet, both via desktop computers and mobile devices. The features that this information system will have include registration of new students, management of student and staff data, class schedules, announcements, activity schedules, and also a financial management system. In addition, this system is also equipped with a monitoring feature for the presence of students, as well as a health monitoring system for students. This information system was built using the latest technology with the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The system interface is designed with a user-friendly appearance and is easy for users to use. This system is also equipped with strong data security features, so that Islamic boarding school data and information are kept confidential. With this web-based information system, pesantren management can become more integrated and structured, so that pesantren can be more efficient and effective in managing pesantren data and information.

Abstract

This study entitled "the role of self-control techniques to reduce sexual behavior (a case study with client "A" in Ogan Ilir)". This study aims to describe the sexual behavior of client "A", the factors that influence the sexual behavior of client "A" and determine the role of self-control techniques to reduce the sexual behavior of client "A" in Ogan Ilir. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research method. The subjects in this study were client "A" as the primary subject and close friends (boyfriends) as secondary subjects. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that client "A" engages in sexual activity ranging from holding hands, kissing, hugging, fantasizing/imagining to petting. The factor that causes client "A" to do this is often accessing adult content on social media and social circles. The process of individual counseling with self-control techniques (done 6 meetings) has played a role in reducing the sexual behavior of client "A" both in terms of frequency and intensity.
