Abstract

This research is motivated by the application of the study of the book al-Bahjah Al-Mardhiyah fī al-Akhlak Ad-Diniyah in formal educational institutions in the formation of students' religious character. SMA Negeri 1 Muara Harus apply the book study with regular learning to support the program at school. Book study at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Harus is a program that applies Islamic boarding school learning which is very rarely done in other formal education. This study aims to determine the application of the study of the book al-Bahjah al-Mardhiyah fī al-Akhlak ad-Diniyah in the formation of the religious character of students at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Harus and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach and a type of field research. The informants of this research were school principals, religious teachers (PAI), and study teachers and students. The data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. While data analysis by means of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Based on the research results it can be concluded that; 1) planning is done by reading the book first. Furthermore, the implementation of the book study was followed by all students every wednesday after the midday prayer in congregation with a time of 10-20 minutes. Finally, there is an evaluation through the results of observations that most students have seen changes in their religious character, such as their belief and awareness of carrying out worship as a form of obligation, to the teacher being more respectful when walking in front of them bowing their bodies, greeting when they meet, good manners and character to his friend. Although there are some students who have not applied religious character, especially to teachers, such as feeling unhappy because they are always regulated. 2) The supporting and inhibiting factors, such as the supporting factors are the ability and willingness of the study teachers, most of the students are enthusiastic about participating in the study of the book, and a beautiful or cool environment plus adequate school facilities. As for the inhibiting factors, there is still a lack of a study team or instructor, students who feel tired or bored, and unexpected things happen, such as power outages.

Abstract

This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The data that the researchers obtained were based on the results of observations and interviews with informants. The results of the study showed that the role of the Bintaldam unit in carrying out Islamic mental and spiritual development for soldiers was shown by carrying out various series of routinely programmed activities so that soldiers in the Cenderawasih Regional Military Command XVII unit had a good spiritual mentality. The supporting factors for the proper implementation of this program and maximum results include the support from the Bintaldam unit leaders who synergize with each other in implementing the Bintaldam program that has been designed as well as with the facilities and infrastructure available to support various mental development activities for soldiers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of knowing, describing and analyzing the role of Public Relations (PR) of Brawijaya University in the Era of Higher Education Legal Entities (PTN-BH). Researchers want to know the role of PTN BH Public Relations in the city of Bandung as a communication facilitator, mediator and communication technician in the implementation of information disclosure policies. Researchers used a descriptive study with qualitative data types. Data collection was carried out using the method of literature study or literature review. The findings from this study indicate that Public Relations of Universitas Brawijaya has carried out its role. However, there are some things that require improvement to make it better. Therefore, the researcher suggests that UB's Public Relations should increase its evaluation activities regarding information disclosure, socialize the obligation to open information to the internal and external public and increase meetings that invite various parties both internally and externally UB to overcome the obstacles faced by UB's Public Relations.

Abstract

This research departs from the importance of a strategy used by the teacher in the teaching and learning process so that it can influence students to achieve learning objectives effectively and efficiently in creating expected learning situations and forming character and educating students to become faithful, noble, wholehearted, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become some religious children. This study aims to find out how the strategy of teaching morals is in the Kindergarten of Tardayatul Furqan, Kandangan District and what factors influence it. This research is a field research (field research). The subjects were 2 teachers and 59 children and the objects were moral learning strategies in Tarbiatul Furqan Kindergarten, Kandangan District and the influencing factors. To explore this research data, using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Through descriptive analysis techniques, this researcher produced the following findings: The strategies used by the teacher in learning Morals by Playing, Singing, Storytelling and Integrated. Influencing factors that influence moral learning strategies in Tarbiatul Furqan Kindergarten, Kandangan District, in terms of teacher factors, namely experience, level of education, supporting facilities, in terms of student factors, namely attention and interest in learning.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period when a child experiences the most rapid growth. Because it is during adolescence that there is a transition from childhood to adulthood. Every human being will experience certain phases in his life. From infancy after birth, then developing into teenagers and adults then old age. In adolescence, generally there are various kinds of changes, both physically, biologically, mentally and emotionally as well as psychosocial. The changes that occur during adolescence can affect personal life, family environment and society. Adolescents are part of society who are most vulnerable in facing temptations and pressure from their social environment. Therefore, in this period of adolescence requires special and serious attention, not only parents, but also the attention of teachers and society.

Abstract

Neuroscience is the science that specifically studies neurons (nerve cells). Meanwhile, learning neuroscience is the science of the relationship between the nervous system and learning and behavior. It can be seen that the brain is divided into four, namely: first, Cerebrum or big brain, Cerebrum is the largest part of the human brain which is also called the Cerebral Cortex, Forebrain or Forebrain. The cerebrum is the part of the brain that distinguishes humans from animals. The cerebrum makes humans have the ability to think, analyze, logic, language, awareness, planning, memory and visual abilities, which the ability to think is an important aspect of student learning not only at school, but in personal life.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of users on the performance of librarians at the Padang State University Library. The type of research used is quantitative with descriptive methods. The population in this study is visitors from July to November 2022 at the Padang State University Library with a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, namely the determination of the sample randomly. The research instrument uses a questionnaire as the main data. In addition, data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires. To test the prerequisite analysis using the validity test and reliability test. In analyzing the data of this study, the calculation of the mean and grand mean formulas is used. The results of this study indicate that the user's perception of the performance of librarians at the Padang State University Library with four indicators namely quality, quantity, timeliness, and commitment is categorized as good. Based on the results of an average score of 3.05. Located on an interval scale of 2.52-3.27.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the user's perception of borrowing collections independently at the Andalas University Library. The factors that influence a person's perception are as follows: Stereotypes, self-perception, situations and groups, characteristics that exist in other people. The service quality of a library can be evaluated from five dimensions as follows: Ease of use, Reliability, Efficiency, Convenience, Security. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The population of this research is the active students of Andalas University, totaling 32,326. Sampling uses the Slovin formula, so that the number of samples is 100 people. The sampling technique used Simple random sampling technique. The data collection used Google from which included 9 indicators, namely about user perceptions and borrowing collections independently. So the results showed that most users answered that they were happy about borrowing collections independently at the Andalas University library.

Abstract

The background of this research is because the increasing of the case related to the violation on ITE law which done by society or even by prominent figure. This caused by inability of a person to manage his word in spoken or written form. This condition describes the reduction of politeness in speaking. The objectives of this research are to give a description about the realization of the principle of the prominent figure’s speech based on the theory of Leech, to describes the realization of the function of the prominent figure’s speech based on the theory of Charlie, to describes the politeness degree of the good manner in speech of prominent figure, and to describes the lesson material of discussion text produced from this research. The source of data taken on this scientific research is the program of “Indonesia Lawyer Club”. The data of this research is the speech of the prominent figure or the resource person in form of sentences or words. This research uses the descriptive method and the technique of documentation. The result of this research is describing the politeness degree of the prominent figure belonging to the category best politeness. While the one prominent figure just belonging to the politeness category. Those prominent figures have reflected the value of politeness which is realized by the comprehension of wisdom norm, generosity norm, appreciation norm, modesty norm, conciliation norm and sympathy norm. From the six norms above, the wisdom norm is not only the one that be obeyed but also the one that be broken. The function of statement discourse is the one that stated much by the prominent figure. While, the function of apologize discourse is the one that stated less. The result of this research used as a module about discussion text that can be applied in Junior High School.

Abstract

The learning process in schools carried out by teachers in transferring knowledge to students will not be separated from models, strategies, methods, approaches, techniques, and tactics. If this can be mastered by the teacher well, then learning will be interesting and fun. Apart from that it will also make it easy for teachers to carry out learning in schools so that the messages conveyed will be understood by students. Thus, if the approaches, strategies, methods, techniques and even learning tactics have been assembled into a unified whole, what is called a learning model is formed. So, the learning model is basically a form of learning that is illustrated from start to finish which is presented in a special way by the teacher. In other words, the learning model is a wrap or frame from the application of an approach, method, and learning technique.
