Abstract

Fisheries and marine products are major contributors to Indonesia's maritime economy, but their contribution to GDP and the welfare of coastal communities is still low. Fishermen as the main actor in this industry have limitations in terms of technology and marketing of their products. The presence of information technology in the marketing of fishery products is an urgency for improving fishermen's welfare. Aruna Indonesia is a startup that connects fishermen as individuals and cooperatives with end buyers through the use of Information Technology (IT). Fishermen place their products on the Aruna Indonesia website so that end buyers can order products online. The establishment of Aruna Indonesia is seen as a solution to the distribution chain problems for fishery and marine products. The purpose of this study is to analyze the empowerment of fishermen as Aruna Indonesia's partners in marketing fishery and marine products and to analyze how significant the use of digital platforms to the marketing of fishery and marine products to support fishermen's welfare. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach and data collection was carried out through interviews and literature study with the research subjects of the Aruna Indonesia team and fishermen as Aruna’s partners. The use of digital platforms can simplify and enlarge the marketing of fisheries and marine products by empowerment carried out by Aruna Indonesia and improve the welfare of fishermen as well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the estimation of carbon stocks based on NDVI values in the KPHP production forest of Sorong Regency. The method used is NDVI analysis to obtain estimates of carbon stocks based on field data (allometric) at the tree level. The results showed that the vegetation density in the KPHP production forest was dominated by the high class (57.40%), followed by the medium class (40.40%), and the low class (2.06%), respectively. The obtained carbon stock regression equation is y = 2.071 + 4.351 * NDVI. Carbon stock with NDVI ranges from 1,667 tons per hectare to 5,113 tons per hectare.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the risk management of the Online Exam Information System at the Trisakti Insurance Management College (STMA Trisakti). This study uses primary data obtained from data sources, namely deputy chairman I, the head of the Company division, lecturers, and students, analyzed the risk management process sessions namely Communication and Consultation, Context Determination, Risk Assessment, Risk Treatment, monitoring, and review. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling (purposive sampling) and risk will be analyzed using a probability impact matrix. Based on the results of the risk analysis of the Online Exam Information System, there are 3 risks in the medium category: Online exam information system according to online exam procedures, Manageable online exam risk management by KOMPTI, and High system maintenance.

Abstract

Pengembangan ekonomi hijau di China masih sulit untuk diwujudkan sepenuhnya dalam upaya pengaplikasian, kondisi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perekonomian China yang berkaitan erat dengan industrialisasi dan produksi karbon yang tidak ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan produksi, investasi, dan perluasan ekonomi oleh China menciptakan celah besar antara target ekonomi dan ambisi ekonomi hijau yang diupayakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tantangan serta strategi yang diterapkan oleh China dalam pengembangan ekonomi hijaunya dengan berfokus pada tahun 2016-2020. Konsep yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah green economy, dan industrial development. Konsep tersebut kemudian menjadi pengarah dalam analisis tantangan dan strategi yang diterapkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan jenis data primer dan sekunder, data didapatkan melalui penelitian mendalam atas fenomena dan wawancara mandiri terkait fenomena ekonomi hijau di China. Ekonomi China sejak awal 2000-an mengalami perubahan mendasar yang berkaitan dengan investasi dan ekstraksi sumber daya. Tantangan dalam negeri yang terdiri dari masalah industralisasi China, pembangunan infrastruktur, penggunaan bahan bakar yang berlebihan, serta demografi China yang turut andil dalam pola konsumsi masyarakat yang memberikan pengaruh besar pada produksi dan konsumsi masyarakat China. Pada skala internasional terdapat tantangan berupa tuntutan pengurangan emisi karbon, dan ekspansi ekonomi China diberbagai negara atau relokasi industri dibeberapa negara.

Abstract

Food waste and food loss are environmental issues which are frequently discussed around the world, as well as the growth of food that does not exhaust both in houses and restaurants. This issues is included in point 12 of SDGs regarding ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. The purpose of this research is to identify South Korea’s efforts and barriers to addressing these issues. The concept used is food waste management. This research methods is qualitative with literature and internet-based research. The result of this research show that by implementation of a volume-based waste fee policy and a pay as you throw system as well as the contribution of the Korea Zero Waste Movement and South Korea’s state has increased in the minimization of food wastw production and there has been an increase in recycling, although there are still some barriers to food wastage.

Abstract

The world conference on Women in 1995 adopted the Beijing Platform for Action, in which governments agreed to implement gender mainstreaming. Other UN conference also acknowledge the importance of adapting a gender specific approach to implementing policies: gender equality has been identified as one of MDGs and designed as a crosscutting theme for work of the commission on sustainable organizations, national government, and most civil society groups still fail to integrate gender perspective adequately into their policies and their action. Gender equality is a right. Women are not only more affected by economic crisis and lack of health care, to climate change, violence against women and escalating conflicts, but also possess ideas and leadership to solve them. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by world leaders in 2015. Achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment is integral to each of the 17 goals in economic globalization era. Women must not miss the jobs of the future. This is the central message of a new study on women in science released by UNESCO (11/06/2021). The digital revolution will need to be inclusive. A fundamental transformation is under way in the workforce. The Fourth Industrial Revolution, or Industry 4.0, is disrupting industries and the labor market, as cyber physical systems proliferate and become more sophisticated. The irony is that the fields most relevant to Industry 4.0 are the very ones where women remain underrepresented in most countries, namely IT, computing, physics, mathematics and engineering. Japan is hoping that the centerpiece of its new growth strategy, Society 5.0, will enable society to adapt to a shrinking, ageing population through widespread use of AI and other digital technologies in industry, agriculture and the services sector.

Abstract

Through economic progress has transformed the traditional urban space into a modern high-rise object city. This requires spatial solutions and alternative technologies to repopulate the environment that was once very intrinsic for citizens to interact with. This research considers sky court and sky garden in terms of the social, economic, environmental, and spatial benefits they provide to urban habitats. This research has the potential to become an 'alternative' social space that can become part of a wider multi-level open space infrastructure to fill the loss of open space in urban habitats. This study aims to determine the level of understanding of residents on the importance of plants to improve the quality of the environment in which they live. Quantitative descriptive method to be able to describe a picture of a situation or event that is taking place naturally. The results of this study indicate that sky garden is an alternative for greening residential areas. Skygarden with the typical type with one edge position, was chosen as the residents' first choice because they feel more familiar with the care.

Abstract

Healthy schools generally have the main focus to create a school atmosphere with a healthy learning environment both physically and mentally. It is characterized by school conditions that are clean, neat, orderly, beautiful and uphold the values of environmental harmony in achieving the goals of a superior and outstanding school. School sanitation is very important because schools are places that have a strategic role, especially educating and preparing the next generation of the nation. The purpose of this study was to provide information related to the sanitation of State Elementary School 07 Kubu Gulai Bancah, Mandiangin Koto Selayan District, Bukittinggi City in 2023. This research method is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach with the aim of obtaining an overview of sanitary conditions. The subject of this research was State Elementary School 07 Kubu Gulai Bancah. The data used in this study are primary data or data obtained directly based on observations. The results showed that the sanitary conditions of State Elementary School 07 Kubu Gulai Bancah, Mandiangin Koto Selayan District, Bukittinggi City have not all met health requirements. Therefore, it is necessary to improve health facilities in schools to support existing sanitation efforts, so that they can spur school achievement towards adiwiyata and reduce adverse risks for all school residents.

Abstract

Engineering insurance is one of the most general and effective methods of project risk management in Western countries with a perfect insurance system. It covers damage to plant, machinery, and other engineering equipment such as boilers, computers, cranes, and lifts. Professional liability insurance, a type of engineering insurance, covers errors and omissions in the services provided by businesses. General liability insurance helps cover bodily injury claims, property damage, and reputational harm, among other risks. Engineering project insurance strategy simulation models can be used to analyze and optimize insurance strategies for projects. Cash flow modeling is an important aspect of insurance business, and efficient methodologies have been proposed to address this.

Abstract

Perubahan pola konsumsi energi sehari-hari dapat membantu penghematan energi. Salah satu aksi nyata yang dapat dilakukan oleh remaja sebagai pengguna terbesar smartphone adalah dengan mengaktifkan mode hemat daya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adopsi fitur mode hemat daya sebagai sarana penghematan energi menggunakan model UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology). Data dikumpulkan dari 168 pengguna smarphone yang mengaktifkan mode hemat daya di Indonesia. Analisis model persamaan struktural–partial least square (SEM-PLS) dilakukan untuk menganalisis hubungan antar variabel dengan menguji serangkaian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang memengaruhi pengguna untuk mengatifkan mode hemat daya sebagai langkah penghematan energi adalah Performance Expectancy (PE), Effort Expectancy (EE), dan Social Influence(SI). EE dan PE berpengaruh terhadap Behavioral Intention (BI) karena fitur mode hemat daya mudah unutk digunakan dan juga memiliki banyak funsgi dan memberikan manfat untuk penghematan energi. Selain itu, faktor lain yang mendukung adalah SI sebagai sarana untuk sosialisasi program penghematan energi dengan sasaran pengguna remaja sebagai agen perubahan. Faktor yang tidak memengaruhi adalah Facilitating Condition (FC) karena fitur mode hemat daya ini memang telah dilengkapi secara default oleh vendor smartphone. Penelitian ini dapat membantu untuk membangun kesadaaran pengguna smartphone untuk memanfaatkan fitur mode hemat daya sebagai langkah penghematan energi dan juga langkah konkret pengguna dalam rangka menghemat energi.
