Abstract

The presentation method is a method of presenting ideas in public by students individually or in groups. This research is motivated by student behavior during question and answer sessions or discussions where many students are just silent without expressing their opinions. This makes researchers interested in examining the effectiveness of the presentation method on the understanding of UPI Educational Technology students regarding the material Philosophical Foundations of Education. The research method used is pre-experimental designs with the type of one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was UPI Educational Technology students who were taking the philosophical foundation of education course as many as 15 people. The results showed that the presentation method was effective in improving the understanding of Educational Technology 2A students regarding the philosophical foundations of education with a difference in the average pre-test score of 38.00 and post-test of 61.33 where this figure had a significant increase of 0.001 through the t test that had been carried out.

Abstract

Pengujian COD dari laboratorium akan menunjukkan hasil apakah suatu sampel limbah uji dapat memenuhi standar baku mutu limbah air ataukah tidak dapat memenuhi standar baku. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengidentifikasi sampel uji dengan pengujian COD dan mengetahui kualitas kondisi limbah sampel uji. Pengujian sampel limbah menggunakan limbah inlet karena hal ini tepat untuk menduga adanya pencemaran dalam limbah walaupun tidak sebagai kunci penentu. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode reflux secara spektrofotometri. Hasil pengujian adalah diangka 227 Mg/L. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka sampel telah mengindikasi lebih lanjut untuk menurunkan konsentrasi parameter sebelum dibuang ke perairan dengan menggunakan tindakan secara kimia maupun biologi.

Abstract

Dalam impilementasi kegiatan pembelajaran di Jenjang SMA kerap kali terjadi adanya berbagai keluhan terkait efektivitas dalam pemahaman maupun motivasi yang dapat mendorong siswa dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas suatu media pembelajaran dalam implementasi kegiatan Pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 11 Bekasi dan SMA Negeri 52 Jakarta dengan menggunakan Landasan Teori Kerucut Pengalaman Edgard Dale (1969) sebagai acuan penelitian. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengolah data penelitian ini yaitu Random sampling dengan cara mengisikan quisioner oleh peserta didik, jumlah peserta didik yang di masukkan ke dalam data sampel terdapat sebanyak 20 siswa untuk setiap jurusan Saintek dan Soshum dari total satu murid yang ada di kelas sebanyak 40 siswa. Hasil Penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan Standar Komponen dalam pemilihan Media Pembelajaran (Rusman,2017). In the implementation of learning activities at the high school level, there are often various complaints related to the effectiveness in understanding and motivation that can encourage students in carrying out learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of a learning media in the implementation of learning activities at SMA Negeri 11 Bekasi and SMA Negeri 52 Jakarta by using Edgard Dale's Cone of Experience Theory (1969) as a research reference. The method used to process this research data is Random sampling by filling out questionnaires by students, the number of students included in the sample data is 20 students for each major of Saintek and Soshum from a total of one student in a class of 40 students. These research results are adjusted to the Competent Standards in the selection of Learning Media (Rusman, 2017) .

Abstract

Study groups are a group of individuals who come together to share knowledge and discuss certain topics and they usually have the same goal. This study aims to determine the effect of study groups on the performance of Educational Technology students at the Indonesian University of Education. The method used in this study is a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires containing several statements about study groups in which the subjects are Educational Technology students at the Indonesian University of Education. The results of this study indicate that study groups have a positive impact on the performance of Educational Technology students at the Indonesian University of Education which increases understanding, social skills, and provides encouragement and motivation for them to achieve success together.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the physical condition of the H2R Pekanbaru Volleyball Club Athletes. The population and sample in this study were all H2R Pekanbaru Volleyball Athletes, totaling 36 athletes. The instrument used in this research is an instrument test consisting of a Flexometer, Running, Push Up and Hand Daynamometer test. Based on the results of research that has been done after conducting data analysis, it can be concluded that as much as 40% of the Physical Conditions of the Pekanbaru H2R Volleyball Club Athletes are in the Less category. Meanwhile, as much as 60% of the Physical Conditions of the Pekanbaru H2R Club Athletes were in the sufficient category.

Abstract

This study focuses on the role of Open Educational Resources (OER), specifically e-books, in student education. With the rapid development of technology, educational institutions are expected to keep up with the advancements in order to provide quality learning experiences. OER, including e-books, are freely available resources that offer cost-saving benefits to students. By accessing OER, students can save money that would have been spent on textbooks and other learning materials. This is particularly beneficial for financially disadvantaged students who may struggle to afford expensive textbooks. Additionally, OER availability can help bridge the educational gap between students from different backgrounds, ensuring equal access to educational resources. The study adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Through interviews with respondents, it was found that OER, especially e-books, are highly relevant in terms of student financial savings. By reducing the cost of textbooks and learning materials, students can save money and access quality learning materials on par with their peers. Overall, OER plays a significant role in minimizing financial burdens and promoting equitable education for all students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe situations or incidents regarding the disciplinary pattern of clothing on students in character education studies at SDN 3 Piji, Kudus Regency. This study uses a narrative research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study show that students at SDN 3 Piji are disciplined in complying with the dress code applied by the school, this becomes a support in improving student character.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how students learn motivation in learning mathematics in class IV SDIT Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study approach. This research was conducted at SDIT Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru with the sample being fourth grade students. Collection techniques used in this study include: interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis used was Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, student motivation in learning mathematics in class IV SDIT Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru is still somewhat inadequate according to the aspects that have been researched and observed. As for signs such as a lack of student motivation in learning mathematics, namely, there are still many students who are lazy in learning or doing assignments given by the teacher while learning mathematics is in progress, there are still students who do not pay attention to the teacher and instead are engrossed in talking and playing with friends when the teacher is explaining in front of the class, there are still students who lack confidence, such as cheating on their friends and don't want to be ordered to do blackboard assignments, there are still students who are sleepy when learning mathematics is in progress, even though the learning environment is quite good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the teacher's strategy in instilling social attitudes in class V SDIT Al- Hidayah Pekanbaru. This type of research is a qualitative research using a qualitative descriptive method which takes place at SDIT Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru. The sample in this study were fifth grade students at SDIT Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru. The data collection instruments used in this study consisted of interviews, observations and documentation which were then analyzed with reference to the Miles and Huberman method. The results of this study are the teacher's strategy in instilling students' social attitudes through four ways, namely habituation patterns, pilot patterns, spontaneous activities and admonishing or advising. The pattern of habituation is carried out by accustoming students to religious activities, accustoming students to obeying the rules, and habituating students to behave and say good things. The pilot pattern is carried out by the teacher by exemplifying students obeying the rules and exemplifying good behavior and speech. Spontaneous activities are carried out by the teacher to reprimand directly when students commit wrong actions and give praise when students successfully complete assignments properly. Reprimanding and advising teachers do when students violate class and school rules.

Abstract

The Database technology suite is rapidly evolving and consistently answering solutions user needs, one of which is the ability of the database to accommodate one piece of information quite a lot, the ability of the Database to accommodate data must be balanced together speed in loading the information needed by the user. In these fast-paced times today’s sophisticated information technology forces us to be able to serve data requests as well as process data quickly and efficiently, but if a system has accommodated too much a lot of data will certainly experience a time constraint in processing the data. The research method used is the type of library research (Library Research). The data obtained is sourced from the literature. NoSQL database discussion literature searched using keywords: SQL, NoSQL, databases from various publication databases. The results of the study are comparisons between relational databases and NoSQL involving factors Such as data models, scalability, data flexibility, and query and analytics capabilities. Databases Relational is more suitable for structured data and strict consistency, whereas database NoSQL is better suited for unstructured data and prioritizes scalability and flexibility.
