Abstract

Currently there are many learning media using the internet, ranging from simple to complex, one of which is the Ispring Suite. Ispring suite can be used as an application, HTML5, record video, combine images, as well as a quiz maker. It is hoped that with the ispring suite-based interactive learning media it is hoped that it can help teachers and students understand the flat shape material. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D) proposed by Borg & Gall. In its application, there are ten steps in the implementation of development according to Borg & Gall. However, due to limited manpower, time and costs, the researchers simplified it into 5 development models by taking into account the main focus on the selected stages, namely research reviews and small-scale research. The following are the 5 stages, namely Preliminary Study, Design of interactive learning, product development, Validation and limited trials and Revision of the final product in development. Based on the results of the assessment of learning media experts, it can be concluded that the media is said to be very feasible but with revisions. Suggestions or input from the validator is that the bad songs should be removed during the presentation of the material, the font should be enlarged, as well as images that do not need to be deleted or minimized so as not to distract the students' focus.

Abstract

One of the skills that students need to have in the 21st century is the ability to think creatively. In carrying out learning activities in the classroom, teachers must balance students' strong creative thinking skills with the learning methodology they use. This study looks at how heuristic learning techniques affect students' capacity to think original. Experimental research is the term for this type of research. Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Godean were used as research subjects. Interviews, observations, and tests were used in the data collection process. According to the study findings, the percentage of creative students scored 8.38% before treatment and jumped to 62.50% afterward. Before receiving treatment, students generally got an average score of 38.75, then rose to 84.22 after receiving treatment. In accordance with the analysis of the data presented above, it can be concluded that heuristic learning strategies affect the creative thinking abilities of junior high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop-based learning media Kvisoft on ecosystem materials containing environmental literacy, test the feasibility of the media and find out the obstacles experienced during the development process. This study uses the ADDIE model of research and development (R&D) (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The test subjects in this study were students of class X MIA 1 and 2 of SMAN.1 Tebing Tinggi. The trial was carried out in small groups to 15 students and large group trials to 60 students to determine the response to the media assessment through the response questionnaire instrument sheet. Based on the results of media expert validation, the overall aspect obtained an average percentage of 91.42% with a very decent category. The results of material expert validation obtained an average percentage of 72.56% with a feasible category. The results of the validation of linguists obtained an average percentage of 85.41% with a very feasible category. The results of the teacher's assessment response obtained an average percentage of 92.2% with a very decent category. The results of the student assessment responses in the small group trial obtained an average percentage of 94.26% and in the large group trial the average percentage was 92.83% with a very decent category. Thus, based learning media Kvisoft on ecosystem materials containing environmental literacy are very suitable for teachers and students to use in the biology learning process.

Abstract

Mathematics learning activities in elementary schools must be adapted to the daily lives of students. Mathematics learning that is not related to students' lives will be felt to be less meaningful and less interesting. Learning mathematics requires abstract thinking, one of which is the material of measuring time. Based on interviews with class III teachers, time units are material that is difficult for students to understand. This can be seen from the results of students'daily tests regarding time units (year, week, day and hour) showing that of the 21 students who got a KKM score of 75 only 9 students while the others still did not meet the KKM. This means that 42.88% of students achieved the KKM score. This is because in conveying the concept of a unit of time, the teacher uses the lecture method. The purpose of this research is to improve the results of learning mathematics about units of time through the use of calendar media and analog clocks for class III SD N 09 2X11 Enam Lingkung. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects in this remedial research were class III students with 21 students. The data in this study consisted of quantitative data which were analyzed using quantitative analysis techniques with simple statistics in the form of average values and percentages. Based on the results of learning corrective actions that have been carried out, the conclusion of this study is that the application of calendar media and analog clocks can improve mathematics learning outcomes in class III SD N 09 2X11 Enam Lingkung carried out through 2 cycles. The application of calendar media and analog clocks can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics in class III SD N 09 2X11 Enam Lingkung . This is evidenced from the percentage in the initial conditions (pre-cycle) there were 42.86% of students who passed (above the KKM that had been set). After that there was an increase in learning outcomes in cycle I where there were 57.14% of students who had completed and in cycle II learning improvement actions there were 80.95% of students who had completed learning mathematics using the calendar and analog clock media.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the types of student errors, as well as the factors that cause errors in solving SPLDV story problems. This research was conducted in class VIII F of SMP Negeri 1 Maumere which consisted of 27 students. Student error data obtained from the results of written tests. Student answers that are incorrectly identified into the type of error. After that, 3 students were selected as respondents to be interviewed. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research is descriptive. Data analysis was performed by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the study showed that no students were able to answer all of the questions correctly. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the types of errors made by students were (1) conceptual errors of 44.75%; (2) principal errors of 34.04%; and (3) operating errors of 24.62%. Based on the results of the interviews, the factors that caused the mistakes made by students were because they did not understand the questions so they were unable to translate the question sentences into mathematical sentences, they were weak about the concept of variables, the elimination and substitution methods, they were weak in determining the results of calculations, and they lacked practice working on equation system questions linear two variables in the form of varied stories.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of the Advance Organizer Assisted Expository Learning Model on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in science subjects with a focus on various energy sources at SDI NURU SYAMSI. The research method used was the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The participants in this study were 25 fifth grade students at SDI NURUS SYAMSI. The study was conducted in one group with a pretest-posttest design, in which students were measured for their initial ability (pretest) before being given treatment, namely the Advance Organizer Assisted Expository Learning Model. After the treatment, students were then measured again (posttest) to see an increase in learning outcomes after applying the method. The results showed that there was a significant increase in learning outcomes in science subjects about various energy sources after the application of the Advance Organizer Assisted Expository Learning Model. The Expository Learning Model Assisted by Advance Organizer as an alternative learning method is expected to help improve student learning outcomes in science subjects about various energy sources. Although this study found positive results, the authors are aware that there are some limitations in this study, such as the limited number of samples. Therefore, the authors recommend further research to strengthen and generalize the findings obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes by using the Discovery Learning learning model, as well as knowing the effectiveness of applying this model. This research was conducted at SD Alam Cordova Probolinggo with 4 research subjects, consisting of 3 male students and 1 female student. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection is done through tests, observations, and documentation. Based on student learning outcomes in cycle I, it reached 75%, a number of 3 students scored below 70, and there was only one student or 25% of students who were in the complete category, namely those who received a KKM score of 70 with an average score of 57. II student learning outcomes reach 100% where all students in the class get the complete category and have obtained a KKM score of 70 with an average value of 77. It can be concluded that the Application of the Discovery Learning Learning Model can improve learning outcomes in learning Mathematics in class I SD Alam Cordova Probolinggo.

Abstract

Research on improving easy-to-understand storyline media on basic subject matter intends to illustrate the legitimacy of informative media. The 4D development model (define, design, develop, deploy) uses R&D methods in research. The percentage method of the expert validation sheet is used for the data collection method. The consequence of this review shows that intelligent learning media with expressive storylines gets a legitimacy score of 87%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the simple field material of Articulate Storyline is said to be very useful for learning natural sciences in junior high schools.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang sebelumnya pernah dilakukan peneliti menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis anak kelompok B di RA. Aisyiyah Aman Medan masih belum terstimulasi secara optimal. Sebagian besar anak belum mampu memberikan komentar, Anak juga belum menunjukan aktivitas yang bersifat eksploratif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen (quasi experiment research). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Aspek yang paling dominan adalah kecepatan dalam membuat hasil karya. Sesudah diberikan perlakuan dapat disimpulkan bahwa media loose parts berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis anak. Dilihat pada nilai thitung sebesar -5,418 dengan signifikan 0,000. Karena Sig < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang berarti terdapat pengaruh media loose parts terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis anak kelompok B RA. Aisyiyah Aman Medan.

Abstract

The research objective of developing an articulated storyline media based on atmosphere material is to explain how interactive and valid learning media work. The ADDIE development model is combined with the R&D method in this study. Validation was carried out using assessment sheets by material experts and also the media as a data collection technique for this research, and using tests and questionnaires for students. Based on the results of the research that has been done, this learning media gets a score of 94.56% from material experts and also the media. It can be concluded that this finding is an Articulate Storyline medium for atmosphere material that is very effective in learning natural sciences in seventh grade junior high school.
